Warner Bros. has just released seven new movie clips from “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and they’re after the jump. This is on top of the 2 they released the other day.
Since I’ve already raved about the new “Potter” film, I don’t know what else to say except watch some of the clips and see for yourself what might be the best of the series. While I’d love to say it’s definitely the best one, that can only come from watching the film a few times and giving it some space. But it’s definitely one of my favorites, and I’m sure it will be one of yours as well.
Prince Michael, 12, 11-year-old Paris – who paid an emotional tribute to her father at the service yesterday (07.07.09) – and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as ‘Blanket’, were seated at a VIP table with 12 other children in The Grand Ballroom at Beverly Hills’ Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
According to reports, the trio were sitting with cousins ranging in age from seven to 17, and spent much of the reception “playing and goofing around” and at one point gathered to look at the memorial programme, which featured pictures of Michael.
Us Weekly magazine reported: “Blanket appeared playful at the reception, tickling his cousins and tapping others on the shoulder and then running away.”
The trio’s former nanny Grace Rwaramba – who was rumoured to have been in a relationship with the late ‘Thriller’ singer – was heard saying: “The kids are holding up really well. It’s good for them to be around the other kids.”
The youngsters were “polite and poised” as a string of well-wishers came to their table to offer their condolences for the loss of their father, who died aged 50 after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest last month.
A host of famous faces attended the reception, including Corey Feldman – who attended the earlier memorial dressed as Michael – Usher, Wesley Snipes, Mariah Carey, Jesse Jackson, Spike Lee and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star Anil Kapoor.
Brooke Shields – who paid tribute to her friend Michael at the service – was also present, but seemed quiet and emotional.
Michael’s parents Joe and Katherine spent time with Brooke, while Joe was also seen in conversation with Corey – who was estranged from the ‘Smooth Criminal’ singer at the time of his death.
Ben, 36, and Jen, 37, also carried their 6-month-old daughter Seraphina with them as well.
Earlier in the week, Ben stopped by the Ante Up for Africa charity event in Las Vegas along with buddy Ben Affleck.

Ra'mon-Lawrence Coleman, 31: "He's someone who in my view thinks entirely too much," Gunn says of the Chicago resident, whose favorite designer is Marc Jacobs. "I was constantly surprised in the workroom – suddenly, there's a new design."
Brit singer Pete Doherty may face police questioning in connection with the death of an actor who plunged to his death after a row with him.
Sheila Blanco’s son Mark, 30, had died after he fell from the first floor of a flat in Whitechapel, east London. Just before his death in December 2006, Mark had had a confrontation with Doherty, 30, and two others, and now his mother has said that the singer “must face questioning”.
According to the police, Blanco’s son had killed himself trying to jump to a lamppost. But a coroner has now ordered the Met to reopen its investigation. “I want the truth to come out,” the Daily Star quoted Blanco, who is raising cash for her own inquiry, as saying.
Doherty’s spokesman said that the verdict given previously by the police was right. “The conclusion the police came to initially is the correct one,” he said.
“We have heard nothing about the conclusion of the second investigation, so are unable to comment further at this stage,” he added.
Jennifer Aniston may be dating Bradley Cooper but sources says she is still “open” to dating her new co-star Gerard Butler.
An insider says if Aniston and Cooper’s relationship doesn’t pan out, then the actress may pursue a romance with Butler. “If that (Cooper) doesn’t work out, she would certainly be open to dating Gerard,” the source says.
Aniston and Butler have been flirting on the set of Bounty Hunter. “They flirt, but it’s pretty innocent,” the insider adds. “In the future, love could blossom.”
Topping the list, and stealing 50 Cent’s title from last year, is Brooklyn rap business mogul, who Forbes believes to have raked in $35 million since last June. Although down from last year’s reputed $82 million in earnings, Jay still managed to pull in millions in profits from his relentless world tour.
One notch down is fellow New York-bred entrepreneur Diddy with $30 million in estimated income. Along with his Sean John clothing line, Puff has been seeing returns from his partnership with Ciroc Vodka and MTV reality shows.
Entering the top three for the first time is Mr. Kanye West. The Chicago-bred superstar earned approximately $25 million over the last 12 months, due in large part to the success of his last album, 808s and Heartbreak, and subsequent Glow in the Dark tour. He also kept his bank account growing with his Nike and Louis Vuitton sneakers.

The majority of boldfaced names at Michael Jackson's July 6 memorial at Los Angeles' Staples Center hadn't spoken to the the singer in years.
Many never even met him at all.
( Collapse )
Many of Jackson's close friends were no-shows: Macaulay Culkin, ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley, Webster's Emmanuel Lewis, among others.
Quincy Jones, Jackson's longtime producer, and Diana Ross -- who was named in Jackson's will as a backup guardian to Jackson's three children -- also skipped the ceremony. Ross said she was at the memorial "in spirit," but that she "decided to pause and be silent" because it "feels right."
Arnold Klein, Jackson's longtime dermatologist and biological father to his two oldest children, was also noticeably absent. Debbie Rowe, mother of Jackson's two eldest children, said she skipped because she felt she'd "be an unnecessary distraction."
As for Elizabeth Taylor? She said she stayed home because she didn't want to "be a part of the public whoopla."
Even Jesse Jackson, who counseled the singer during his trial, was not present to speak. (A source tells Us Joe Jackson dislikes him and made sure Rev. Al Sharpton -- who laughed about Jackson during a 2008 discussion on race -- delivered a speech instead.)
Instead, most of the people who paid tribute to Jackson at Tuesday's memorial never met him at all.
Queen Latifah, who eulogized the singer, told David Letterman: "I never actually got to meet him. My partner met him because we managed Naughty by Nature and they did a remix with him. He thought I had beautiful cheekbones."
John Mayer -- who performed an instrumental version of "Human Nature" -- told Larry King he also "never met" the King of Pop. His only connection was listening to Thriller as a teen. He said the Jackson family asked him to perform. (The Los Angeles Times' Ann Powers remarked, "I don't know why John Mayer is here. Was Slash not available?")
Jennifer Hudson -- who performed "Will You Be There" -- also had no prior relationship with Jackson. Mariah Carey covered the Jackson 5 classic "I'll Be There," which she sang at the memorial. Though she worked with Jackson on his 2001 charity single "What More Can I Give?" she wasn't close with the singer, a source tells Us.
Usher, who sobbed and touched Jackson's coffin while singing "Gone Too Soon," performed with Jackson at his 2001 celebration concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden. But "their contact was minimal," the source tells Us, even though Usher has stated how influential Jackson was on his career.
Twelve-year-old Britain's Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargholi's connection to Jackson? He toured as a young Jackson in the Thriller Live show and sang the Jackson 5 cover version of "Who's Loving You" on Britain's Got Talent.
He said: "It's great to be here. Premieres are always a lot of fun. Always a really big night - if you know what I mean!"
After the event, Rupert and his co-stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe let their hair down at the after-party.
The next morning (08.07.09), Rupert seemed worse for wear, stumbling out of the exclusive Claridge's Mayfair hotel looking as though he might be sick at any moment.
The bleary-eyed star was so dazed he got into the wrong car, sitting there for around a minute before he realised his mistake.
The night before, Rupert bragged about his drunken antics at the premiere.
He laughed: "When I'm drunk I like to cause mischief. I'll steal props like the broomsticks from the 'Harry Potter' set and bring them out to the pub for comedy value. It seems funny at the time. Trouble is I usually get too trashed to remember what happened the next day."
Which is worse?
