"QUANTUM OF SOLACE" and "MONSTER'S BALL" director Marc Foster says that the anticipated film adaptation of "WORLD WAR Z" may have to wait a little longer.

Speaking with Migros Magazin, Forster says the film's script still needs a lot of development and is "still far from realization". As a result he's likely moving forward with another project entitled "DISCONNECT" which is 'ready to go'.

"DISCONNECT" is said to be about how humans deal with new technologies and the changes it causes to interpersonal relationships.

"WORLD WAR Z", based on the novel by Max Brooks, is a series of interviews conducted with various people about the events that transpired when a zombie pandemic swept the globe.

Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are headed back to Camp Rock, but the sequel to last year's top-rated cable telecast will feature a new director and writer, not to mention a plot that borrows from Shakespeare.

"Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam" will begin production this summer and debut next year on Disney Channel.

The story has the characters played by Lovato and Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas returning to their beloved Camp Rock, only to discover that some of the students and instructors have ditched it for nearby rival Camp Star.

Other major players returning for the sequel include Meaghan Jette Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera and Alyson Stoner. Daniel Fathers is back as Camp Rock's head honcho.

Joining the cast for "Final Jam" are popular hip-hop artist Matthew "Mdot" Finley and Chloe Bridges, an accomplished 17-year-old classical pianist. Mdot plays the reigning hot-shot singer across the lake at Camp Star who challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown.

Crowds may be wise, but they're not necessarily savvy. Witness this online poll, where the first 2,500 respondents have deemed Mario Lopez flamingly gay, while Kevin Spacey and Vin Diesel get loads of votes as straight.

Lopez might act in a Broadway musical and take off his shirt a lot, but that doesn't make him gay. At least they got Zachary Quinto, who doesn't keep his personal life much of a secret, correct. How about a do-over with just the people who got Spacey right? Or you can just have at it in the comments.

Here's Kristinia DeBarge's (aka "Chris Brown in Drag") new single, "Future Love," written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

It was released as a single less than a year ago by a boyband called Varsity Fanclub.

Personally, I like her version better (the Varsity Fanclub video makes me want to die of secondhand embarrassment--it looks like a parody of "2Gether," when that was a parody itself to begin with), but I think it's kind of strange that singles are being used as demos now.

On the day the world said goodbye to Michael Jackson, his legacy continues to shine on Billboard's charts, a testament to his lasting musical legacy and impact.

Based on preliminary sales numbers from Nielsen SoundScan, Jackson's catalog of solo albums sold a whopping 800,000 copies in the U.S. in the tracking week that ended at the close of business on Sunday (July 5) night. That's an increase of 90% compared to the previous week, when his combined albums sold 422,000.

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee may have trouble keeping the promise she made at Michael Jackson's public memorial for a House resolution that "forever" honors the late pop star.

Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat, took the stage Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and hoisted a framed copy of the resolution, embossed with a gold seal. The measure will be debated on the House floor, she said.

For that framed, embossed resolution to be completely legit, it must first get past some opposition.

Rep. Peter King, a New York Republican who called Jackson a "pervert, child molester, pedophile" in a video he posted on YouTube this week, vowed Tuesday to do "whatever I have to do" to oppose honoring Jackson.

Without mentioning King by name, Jackson Lee noted at the memorial that Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges. She blasted critics who "don't understand the hearts of entertainers" and "don't know how they heal the world on behalf of America."

"We understand the Constitution. We understand laws and we know people are innocent until proven otherwise. That is what the Constitution stands for," Jackson Lee said, clutching the framed resolution in front of her shiny white suit.

Her legislation, House Resolution 600, lists several charitable acts by Michael Jackson over his long career and proclaims him as an American legend, musical icon and world humanitarian. He is, Jackson Lee said, "someone who will be honored forever and forever and forever and forever and forever."

In the House, non-controversial resolutions honoring a person who has died or carried out a noteworthy accomplishment normally move quickly from committee to the House floor and then pass on a voice vote. The Michael Jackson resolution, introduced June 26, is awaiting action in the House Foreign Affairs Committee, of which Jackson Lee is a member and King is not.

An opponent could ask for a recorded vote, which then requires a two-thirds majority for passage. So far, Jackson Lee's resolution has just one co-sponsor, Rep. Diane Watson, D-Calif.

Jackson Lee hosted a 2004 meeting in her Capitol Hill office that brought Michael Jackson together with ambassadors to the U.S. from African countries. At the time, Jackson was considering a tour to raise money to fight AIDS. However, he was also facing child molestation charges and was unable to leave the country without court permission.

Even so, Jackson was greeted by screams, applause and flashing cameras.

Jackson also visited Iraq veterans at Walter Reed Hospital while in Washington.

I think this should pass because MJ really did overwhelming amounts of work for charity. I mean, busloads of children over the years- inner city children, terminally ill children, etc- were brought to Neverland completely free of charge. Among all the other stuff he did (We Are The World, the ENTIRE profits from his Dangerous tour went to charity, etc), this man was a true humanitarian. Peter King can suck it.

Robert Pattinson: Feeling Blue?

The rumors have been swirling that he’s not digging New York City anymore, and from the look of Robert Pattinson this morning (July 8) it may be true.

The “Twilight” stud was spotted arriving on the set of his current project “Remember Me” looking downcast and melancholy.

Even Robert’s wardrobe is indication that he’s feeling sour as of late - he wore a drab jacket with a faded plaid shirt and dark trousers as he trudged along the street.

Coming up in a couple of weeks, though, Mr. Pattinson will be out of the Big Apple and on to San Diego where he’ll make an appearance at the Comic Con along with costar Kristen Stewart.

Break out the world’s tiniest violins — Britney Spears‘ former svengali, Sam Lutfi, says Brit and her parents have ruined his life.

The ex-manager/constant companion has filed legal papers in his defamation lawsuit against the Spears clan, reports TMZ, claiming a variety of hurts against his poor self.

He complains that Lynne Spears‘ book about Britney is made up of lies, especially the story she tells of Sam grinding up pills and slipping them into Brit’s food.

As a result of the book, he claims: “I am constantly in fear for my life…” and that he was “harassed and cajoled by the public.”

He’s got at least one reputable character on his side, Britney’s sometime boyfriend/paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, who wrote a declaration swearing that Sam wasn’t holding Brit hostage, as Lynne said. Good luck with that, Sam.

JORMA TACCONE TO DIRECT 'MACGRUBER' MOVIE


Jorma Taccone will direct MacGruber, based on the "Saturday Night Live" sketch parody of the TV show "MacGyver," reports Production Weekly. Filming begins next month in New Mexico.

The Hollywood Reporter adds that Ryan Phillippe is in negotiations to star in the feature, with Val Kilmer in negotiations to also join the Paramount and Relativity Media production.

In the film, the legendary, much decorated MacGruber is pulled out of retirement as a monk in Ecuador by a colonel, who needs him once more to fight on behalf of his country. This time the mission involves going up against the evil Cunth, who has a nuclear warhead; the mission is personal because Cunth killed MacGruber's bride.

The movie version would see Phillippe playing Piper, an Army officer forced to pair up with a reluctant MacGruber. Kilmer would be Cunth.

He is alleged to be the real father of Michael Jackson's children. Another claim says he is being investigated for prescribing the singer dangerous narcotic pain medications and anesthesia. Now, Jackson's longtime dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein speaks out to address the rumors.

Klein, a Professor of Dermatology and Medicine at UCLA medical school, and a favorite of stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, flatly denies any involvement in over-prescribing drugs to Jackson.

"I didn't give him this crap they are talking about," Klein states in a new interview with Good Morning America. "I've never prescribed Oxycontin in my life. How am I going to prescribe Diprivan [a.k.a. Propofol, which is used for anesthesia] when I don't understand how to use it?"

He also denied being one of five doctors reportedly under investigation in the state of California for writing prescriptions for Jackson's medications. "I am not even under any examination by the police as one of those individuals," he said. "I have not been examined by anyone. I have not been contacted by the police in Los Angeles."

Klein also says that Jackson did not appear to be in severe pain – or to be battling addiction – during their last meeting, which was the Monday before Jackson's death. "He danced in my office. He danced for my patients. He was very muscular and he was very very happy and dancing," Klein says. "I saw nothing at that point I time that would make me worry whatsoever."

When asked if a rumor that he was the real father of Jackson's three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II (Blanket), 7, was true, Klein offered a denial – sort of.

"All I can tell you is, to the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children," Klein said. "I can't answer it any other way. I don't want to feed any of this insanity going around." He did express a fondness for his friend's children adding, "These are brilliant children and I want them in no way to be harmed ... People should know the depth of [Jackson's] love of his children."

"The Big Ragoo" got himself into a Las Vegas snafu.
The guy who played Carmine "The Big Ragoo" Ragusa on "Laverne and Shirley" was arrested last Friday in Las Vegas after he allegedly got into a drunken car crash.

Law enforcement sources tell us they received a call at around 12:30 PM about a collision with a "suspected drunk driver."

When officers arrived, they found Eddie Mekka and administered field sobriety tests. After the tests, Mekka was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence — a misdemeanor.

As for the accident, we don't know any details, but we do know there were no injuries reported at the scene.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Advance sales of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" are outpacing those of current box-office champ "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and of 2007's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" at a similar point in their sales cycles.

Eight days before its July 15 opening, "Prince" accounted for 65 percent of daily ticket sales, online ticketer Fandango said Tuesday.

Fandango said a poll of more than 3,000 visitors to its Web site found that 85 percent of respondents had read all seven Potter books. "Prince" is the sixth Potter movie of a planned eight; Warner Bros. is splitting the seventh book into two movies.

"'The Half-Blood Prince' is turning out to be one of our fastest-selling titles of the year," Fandango COO Rick Butler said.

Fandango began selling "Prince" tickets June 17.

John Mayer says it was an honor performing at Michael Jackson's memorial Tuesday.

"The first thing I said was a question - does this really come from the family?" he said on Larry King Live Tuesday night. "I think that was essential to me sort of processing the honor. And when I found out that, in fact, it had, it took me about 48 hours to sort of strike the balance in how I was going to approach being -- you know, being invited to this unbelievable event without actually having the proximity to Michael Jackson, personally. I'd never met him."

Mayer performed an instrumental version of Jackson's hit "Human Nature" at Tuesday's memorial. He said he is glad he didn't end up singing.

"The decision to not sing is just out of knowing what's best for me," he said, adding that he doesn't have a strong vocal range. "I think it's quite a mine field to go into trying to in any way replicate vocally what Michael Jackson has done. And in a way, it was sort of respectfully leaving an absence, you know, sort of the presence of his absence."

He added that Usher's rendition of "Gone Too Soon" was "unbelievable."

Looking back on Tuesday's memorial, Mayer said he is amazed at how "humanizing it was. You know, Michael Jackson wasn't super human. He was extra human."

Added Mayer, "I think everybody who watched the service, I think by the end of it -- the best service of all was the service done to Michael Jackson to
sort of render him finally as being a human being."

Kate Moss 'fears fashion faux pas'

Kate Moss has said that it would be a "major fashion faux pas" if she wore the same outfit as other stars at an event.

Speaking on upcoming MTV documentary Topshop NYC in 24 Hours, the model told Topshop boss Sir Philip Green that she had to have a unique dress for a launch, The Mirror reports.

Holding a green dress, Moss said: "Don't you dare let anyone else wear that one. And I did 'the look' then. Don't, because if you do it will be a disaster.

Stepping out for the day’s agenda, Kate Moss left her house just after lunchtime for a trip around London on Wednesday (July 8).

Followed out the door by boyfriend Jamie Hince, the sexy supermodel visited a branch of the London clinic located around the Marylebone area.

Andrew Bird performing "Oh No" on the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien


St. Vincent will team up with Andrew Bird for a month of US tour dates this fall, starting September 29 in Indianapolis.
The two critically acclaimed artists will also be paired for an episode of Austin City Limits, scheduled to air on PBS stations nationwide on October 24 (check local listings).

Before touring with Bird, St. Vincent will play the All Points West and Virgin Mobile festivals, and make a short run of northeast and Canadian headlining dates.

Both of pop superstar Michael Jackson's arms were scarred with track marks, investigators probing his death say, and the marks are consistent with the finding of the potent sedative propofol (trade name Diprivan) in his home -- a drug that is increasingly at the center of their probe into what caused Jackson's death, ABC News has learned.

According to sources involved in the death investigation, several Hollywood and Beverly Hills doctors are now part of the investigation.

Just over 31 million people in the United States watched the Michael Jackson memorial on television.

Nielsen Media Research says that's a smaller audience than for Princess Diana's funeral or President Barack Obama's inauguration — but it's still impressive in today's TV world. Millions more watched video streams on their computers.

The Jackson memorial on Tuesday afternoon was carried live on some 18 different networks, including all the big broadcasters and cable news stations.

By comparison, President Obama's inauguration in January had an audience of nearly 38 million. Nielsen says 33.2 million people in the U.S. watched Princess Diana's funeral in 1997.

Hilary Duff has been named as ambassador for the youth for the city of Bogota in Colombia. According to the Mayor of Bogota, Hilary Duff will be coming to the city sometime between August 1 and August 15 to be a guest of honor.

This honor was brought about as Blessings in a Backpack, the charity Hilary Duff has been ambassador of for some time now, plans to take the program to new levels. The charity will be promoted around Bogota in school and community diners, with the mayor saying that Hilary was inspired by existing feeding campaigns in the city.

The Blessings in a Backpack program, in Bogota, will also be encouraging participation in vaccination programs.

Last night, this is what Ed McMahon's Hollywood Walk of Fame star looked like just outside of the Roosevelt Hotel. There were no flowers or no notes, just newspaper stuck to the sidewalk with some black paint or tar over his name. Accident? Vandalism? Probably the latter--there are some crazy and mean spirited people out there. Luckily, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce cleaned it up that night and things are back to normal.

Cameron Diaz is considering an offer to play the female lead in Green Hornet, opposite Seth Rogen. A deal hasn't been sealed yet, but sources tell EW that she is in early talks for the role. Her reps at CAA declined comment. Michel Gondry is set to direct the film based on a script by Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg. Shooting is supposed to begin shortly, with a release date already set for July 9, 2010.

Aimee Mann -- one of my favorite singers ever -- is heading back on the road again and a new interview with her was just posted. It's one of the best interviews I've  read with her. She talks about her saddest song, the possibility of a 'Til Tuesday reunion, her new project painting the worst presidents in American history and trying to nail her single speaking line she was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer years ago.

Here's a bit from the interview for the TL:DR crowd:

What about the graphic novel you’ve been talking about writing. I know you said at one point you were practicing drawing by cartooning your friends’ conversations.
Here’s where I am: I did a lot of cartooning and I practiced drawing a lot -- enough to realize that it takes professional people who do this all the time and are really good at it years and years to do a book. So, that seems pretty daunting. And then I realized that my work ethic may not be up to those standards. [Laughs] But what I did start to do is that I started painting. Every few years I’ll go, I want to paint! and I’ll get out the paints and the easel and then start painting and go, Oh. This is really hard and then put it away again. But I started painting again and I realized that all the practice that I got from cartooning made it a lot easier. So I’ve been doing that and it’s been super fun.

Are you going to have a big exhibition like Marilyn Manson did?
Is Marilyn Manson a painter?

Huge. They go for thousands of dollars.
That’s awesome. Are they any good?

They’re exactly what you’d think they’d be: creepy children missing limbs, stuff like that.
Oh my god. That’s awesome. Really, what I’m painting right now is this project that came about by accident but I feel like it’s fun practice for me. I have a friend who works at the White House, who’s Deputy Assistant to Obama and he works on Joe Biden’s campaign, and I visited him a few months ago and he had just moved into his new office and it has really high ceilings and gigantic empty walls. He had like, one photograph of Obama and I was kind of making fun of him saying, “I really love your artwork. It really fills up that wall.” And he said, “You do art. You should do a mural of the presidents.” He was like, “Where’s my portrait of Millard Fillmore?” and so kind of as a joke I thought, I’m going to paint him a portrait of Millard Fillmore, and then we were joking about this via email and it developed into “How about the three worst presidents?” Three really dud presidents like Millard Fillmore and James Buchanan and whomever. And so I started painting and I wanted more to choose from because they were getting better as I went along so I thought, I’ll do the 10 worst presidents.

I’m seeing a new line of tour T-shirts.
[Laughs] I have a couple more presidents left to go. I think I have eight of the worst ones.


She's such a class act -- she's never bowed to pressure to be anyone but herself. Love her!

Eric Dane circles 'Valentine's Day'

'Grey's' actor joins cast of New Line comedy

Eric Dane ("Grey's Anatomy") is rounding out the already large cast of New Line's ensemble comedy "Valentine's Day," set to begin shooting this week with Garry Marshall directing.

Dane will play a quarterback struggling over the decision of whether to retire. He's appeared in "Marley and Me" and "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Mike Karz is producing with Wayne Rice.

Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace and Hector Elizondo star.

THE $400 MILLION CLUB

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen grossed over $200 million in its first week. Most box office analysts say that the film is well on pace to pass $400 million domestically - no small feat as only eight other movies have done so in the history of cinema.

What makes Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen so unique is that it would be the first film to reach that mark despite abysmal reviews that encouraged viewers to avoid the film. Sure, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace wasn't critically acclaimed, but it certainly fared far better with critics than Revenge of the Fallen.

According to Rob Moore, vice chairman of Paramount, critics "forget what the goal of the movie was. The goal of the movie was to entertain and have fun." Being entertaining and fun is a good goal for a blockbuster movie to have - it's the same goal that the producers of The Dark Knight and Spiderman had, but they decided to make their movie good on top of it.

Assuming Revenge of the Fallen does become the ninth member of the $400 million club, we thought it would be interesting to compare it to the first eight movies that passed that threshold. The graph below takes into account box office gross, widest theatrical releases, and Rotten Tomatoes rankings.

Ozzy Osbourne's dog Little Bit has been mauled to death by a coyote.

The Black Sabbath star is said to be "devastated" after losing the animal, who was rescued by the Osbourne family as a puppy.



Daughter Kelly admitted her father's anguish on her Twitter blog: ":( my dad's dog Little Bit was eaten by a coyete last night in L.A. and he is devastated. She was his other women (sic)!"

Little Bit was adopted from a puppy ranch following an investigation on National Geographic's The Dog Whisperer.

Ozzy claimed earlier this year he and his wife had 18 dogs.

He said: "We get them from the pound now. When I get home it's like I've got four new dogs."

And Sharon added: "Word's got out in Los Angeles: 'Anybody (who) finds a stray dog, call the Osbournes, they'll take the dog.'"

Kelly reportedly refused to hold press interviews at Glastonbury Festival after learning of the sad news.

After appearing with their family at the Michael Jackson memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, the singer's sisters — Janet, La Toya and Rebbie — also addressed the fans at the Nokia Theater nearby, where several thousand fans who did not receive tickets to the Staples Center watched the tribute to the late King of Pop.

The oldest Jackson child, Rebbie, thanked the crowd for all the support they've showed the Jackson family since Michael's unexpected death nearly two weeks ago. "We are extremely grateful for all the support. We love you all," she said in a video posted on TMZ Wednesday (July 8), adding, "One more thing, I want to thank the city [of Los Angeles] and all the support we've received from everyone."

LaToya also addressed the crowd in the longest of the three statements, saying that Michael always appreciated his fans and also thanked them for showing everyone they still care about the late pop icon. "I just wanted to let you all know that you have been very, very supportive, and as you well know Michael loved his fans more than anybody in the whole world."

She added that her brother "has always said that his family is first and his fans are second, and I know that he'd be so happy that you're here supporting him. And he's watching every last one of you. I just want to thank you all for being there for him. He loves you all very much."

However, the speech that got the biggest response was a short and sweet one from Janet that echoed her tearful comments at the BET Awards last week.

"I just want to say, once again thank you for all your love and all of your support and Michael will live in all of our hearts forever."

Dolly Parton writes her first children's book

Dolly Parton created a charity 13 years ago to provide books to children and encourage literacy. Now her first children's book, "I Am a Rainbow" will be featured in the philanthropy. The 63-year-old Parton says working on projects for children gives her a chance to play and live a second childhood. The book she wrote describes how colors can be used to explain emotions children have. Parton had no say in the book's selection for her charity, Imagination Library. A committee of teachers, child development experts and parents picks the books supplied to 1,000 communities in 47 states, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Proceeds from the sale of Parton's book will benefit the charity.

Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett has been charged with growing cannabis at his parents house.

The teenager, who plays bully Vincent Crabbe in the hugely successful franchise, was first questioned by police in April after they allegedly found eight bags of the drug in his car.

Police then raided his mother's London home, where they are said to have found more of the Class B drug.

A police official said, "He is charged with producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis."

Waylett ,19, was absent from last night's London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

He will appear in court next month

Nine Inch Nails have reworked their plans for their 'final' shows and in turn will be playing a handful of dates in a number of major markets beginning August 22nd. Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City are among the cities that have been confirmed thus far. Exact dates have yet to be announced, though the band are promising medium to small venues and longer sets with some possible special guests, while The Horrors and Mew have been tapped to handle the opening duties on select dates. Plans are also in motion for the shows to be captured for a future release. More on that can be found over at the bands official website, www.nin.com.

We here at Bullz-Eye always knew that we wanted to run a piece in conjunction with the release of "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince," but what we didn't know was what kind of piece it would be. We considered the matter, and we came to the conclusion that it would've been a little too easy to whip up a list of our favorite Hollywood wizards. In the midst of the discussion, however, an observation was raised about the film itself: what's going to happen to these kids – Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson – after the last of the "Harry Potter" books has been adapted for the silver screen? Will they be able to rise above their roles and find work elsewhere, or are they destined to be remembered solely as Harry, Ron and Hermione? From there, we quickly began to bandy about the names of other folks who have and haven't been able to score success in other cinematic identities, and the piece began to write itself. Ultimately, only one of our selections seemed impossible to pigeonhole as either "Forever Typecast" or "Escaped Typecasting," and when you see that actor's name, we think you'll nod your head knowingly and understand exactly why we had that problem.

Michael Moore's opting to spoof romantic conventions in titling his upcoming documentary "Capitalism: A Love Story," which addresses the causes of the global economic meltdown.

"It will be the perfect date movie," Moore said in an announcement Wednesday. "It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism."

Moore and Overture Films had announced previously that the film would be released domestically on Oct. 2 -- a year and a day after the U.S. Senate voted to approve a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street. Paramount Vantage will handle international distribution.

He goes by many names. The Devil, Satan, Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness, the Fallen Angel, Beelzebub, etc. But no matter what you call him, he's one of the scariest villains you can think of.

It was recently announced that Supernatural will be adding Lucifer to its cast for season 5, so we decided to look at what kind of competition he'll be up against. We combed through the best devils in film and television to get our favorites. Some are scary, some are sexy and others are hilarious, but for what ever reason, these are the devils we remember.

Rachel Weisz doesn’t dig the frozen faces of Hollywood, she tells the August 2009 issue of UK’s Harper’s Bazaar (via Fox News).

“It should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen,” the 39-year-old British actress says of Botox. “Acting is all about expression; why would you want to iron out a frown?”

As for fashion, Rachel says, “I love the way girls in London dress; it’s so different to the American ‘blow-dry and immaculate grooming’ thing.”

The World Swimming Championships are taking place in Rome beginning on July 17th. To celebrate, Dolce & Gabbana are launching an underwear advertising campaign for Summer 2009 featuring the five swimmers of the Italian National team — Emiliano Brembilla, Paolo Bossini, Alessandro Terrin, Mirko Di Tora and Nicola Cassio.

The campaign, which was set in the swimming pools of the historical Circolo Aniene di Roma and shot by Mariano Vivanco, will be featured in July and August issues in markets around the world.

When she isn’t playing her band Molotov Jukebox, Natalia Tena is gearing up to reprise, for the final time, her role as the hot-headed wizard Tonks in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

But before she begins filming in August, Tena took some time to tell Hero Complex about having wizard war dreams, why Tonks' hair looks rather, well, strange in “Half-Blood Prince,” and why she thinks the script for the final film is bloody brilliant.

DM: What was the best part of working on “Half-Blood Prince”?

NT: Well, I just had one scene, and we shot it in the middle of the night. I was doing stunts, which is what I love most. They wanted to get stunt doubles and I was like, “No, I want to jump through fire!” Sometimes you do feel a bit stupid. I remember standing with David Thewlis [who plays Lupin], and it’s 3 in the morning, and going, “Yeah, David, fight invisible fire snakes.” It’s like basically dancing to nothing. You do feel a bit stupid at times, but it’s funny.

Cover girl Kate Winslet opens up about nudity and why she doesn’t do drugs in the upcoming August issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

In the interview, the Academy Award Best-Actress winner opens up about her famous nude scenes in The Reader. “If people are noticing my boobs in a movie and saying they do what real boobs do, then that’s great,” she says. “I’ll be 34 in October. I can’t keep getting away with it. There was so much of it in The Reader because the story required it, but people have seen enough of my bum and my boobs. I have to put them back.”

A few more highlights:

Kate on having a good reputation: “When everyone was out getting plastered, I didn’t do all of that. I was working. I was doing life. Now that I look back, I feel very lucky. I’ve never taken drugs, never been offered cocaine.”

Kate on defusing the glamour myth: “Our knickers will still go up our ass at the most inappropriate moment. And we’ll still want to flick them out, but you can’t because someone is going to catch you.” So what does one do? “Oh, I run behind pillars and things.”

The August issue of Harper’s Bazaar hits stands July 21.

I love this girl, but what the hell is she wearing? Oh well.

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi wed teacher-turned-general contractor Mike McCuddy on July 5 at 12:30 in the afternoon in Prospect Harbor, Maine. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter wore a Vera Wang gown for the small ceremony. The couple, who met when Mike, 34, built the house next to Kara's in Maine, got engaged in December. They exchanged vows at the United Methodist Church, across the street from her house, in front of about 30 guests. "I feel great. What was most unbelievable about the experience was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike, who were there for us. It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries," Kara, 38, tells In Touch exclusively, adding that the weather even behaved. "It's been raining in Maine for 60 days. The only day that was nice was yesterday!"

USA Today has published the first photo from Fox Searchlight's Whip It, the directorial debut of Drew Barrymore.

The film stars Ellen Page (Juno) as Bliss, a rebellious Texas teen who throws in her small town beauty pageant crown for the rowdy world of roller derby. Marcia Gay Harden plays Bliss' disapproving mother, while Kristen Wiig ("Saturday Night Live") and Juliette Lewis play roller-derby stars. Eve, Jimmy Fallon and Daniel Stern also star.

MTV recently finished filming Real World Brooklyn cast member Ryan Conklin’s deployment to Iraq.
 

This is all occurring as The Real World Cancun is currently airing on MTV and The Real World DC begins filming in Dupont Circle.
 

The special will air on MTV later this year as it follows Ryan through his mobilization, pre-deployment, and his actual deployment to Iraq in April according to ISRIA.
 

The recent filming of Army Spc. Ryan Conklin of the North Carolina National Guard Company B, 252nd Combined Arms Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team took place at the Joint Security State Saydiyah in Baghdad.
 

The filming wrapped as Iraqis took over the city patrols in Iraq as Ryan provided these observations from his Myspace post.
 

“It’s funny reading the news online from where we are about the troop pullout from Baghdad. I know several units have relocated but I wouldn’t dare say U.S. troops are out of Baghdad. I haven’t moved. There’s no sign of us moving. I’m in Baghdad as I type this. In fact, I can hear the hammers banging outside where the construction of new barracks is being erected.”
 

“Being back, I can see the changes. The Iraqi Army is more proactive, self sufficient, and experienced. The citizens have returned to jobs with steady income and the lure of setting IEDs for money has been shunned by several who succumbed for a paycheck. People are more cooperative in sharing information and leads that actually result in beneficial arrests. They talk about freedom and what it really is like because in the past six years they’ve witnessed all the stages of being repressed, broken, and back on track. Talking with locals on the past six years makes freedom almost tangible and for that, I am lucky to be a witness to it and be able to say I had a part in it.”
 

I wish Ryan safety for the remainder of his tour and as he concluded in his post, “pull the curtains on Iraq, and head back home as soon as we can.”

Takiyah Wonder, daughter of Stevie Wonder, has her loved ones extremely concerned that she may have tried to hurt herself or even worse. MediaTakeOut.com first reported the story. On Saturday they learned that she was acting peculiar, and according to their sources it may have been due to relationship troubles with her boyfriend, Robert (member of Day 26). The inner turmoil may also have been amplified by the 5-year anniversary of her mother, Syreeta Wright’s death.

According the source that broke the story, Takiyah Wonder left a couple of straight forward, chilling messages on her private Twitter page reading:
To everyone that screwed me in life, you’ve finally won.
I can’t take it anymore – I’m done.
You won’t have to hear from me again

And then she wrote:

Sorry to the friends and family that did love me.
I just took something that will have me gone for good.
Finally no more pain

Since the incident she has been hospitalized and is reportedly doing well.

Eddie Furlong's wife just filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Eddie -- who starred in "Terminator 2" and pecker-- and Rachael Bella had been married for almost 3 years. They had one child together. Bella is asking for joint custody of their 2-year-old son, Ethan, and spousal support.

We have to wait another week for a new episode of True Blood, but FilmingDirect.com has a little sneak peek for us with a look at the hotel in Los Angeles that was transformed into the vampire hotel in Dallas for filming. The Sofitel LA was turned into the Carmilla Hotel for two days while scenes from “Snap and Fingerpop” were filmed. Love the chic decor; this is not your gimmicky vampire hotel! Also digging the neon Tru Blood sign. Wouldn’t it be hilarious to see that at your local watering hole along with the Coors and Guiness signs?
