Jennifer Garner is a Bad Girl!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I will use any excuse to post about the deity known as Jennifer Garner and what better excuse than her selling shitty night creams!? Girl probably only uses the finest curdled cheetah jizz on her face or something because you do not get Jennifer Garner's skin from a Neutrogena night cream and that is a fact.
See the commercial and grab a towel here.

In the commercial she basically says that Neutrogena cream will hide the years of skin damage that being a cracked out hooker might have inflicted. No, seriously, she actually says

"Every girl has a past, When she did some things that…maybe she shouldn't. But i say 'No one ever has to know'". What skin damaging things could a girl want to hide other than raping a loofah or doing copious amounts of drugs? Way to market your product to former Playboy Bunnies, Neutrogena!

I don't know why the apple of my eye hints that she has been a bad girl because we all know that she is the designated replacement for Mother Theresa at some stage. Angelina Jolie is a thief and a pretender!

But her current passion seems to be partying. Ronson spins records and sells out clubs, though not necessarily because of her talents on the turntables.

"She's not a particularly good DJ. When you see her DJ, she really looks asleep at the wheel. She'll smoke cigarettes and just click through the songs on her laptop," said Ian Drew, Us magazine's editor at large. "She's like the friend with a bunch of records that you had come over when you had house parties in your parents' basement. The more drunk or high you get, the better she sounds."

She's got a plan-stan for them juices!

Rachael Ray has already spilled all her cooking secrets, and now she's ready to dish on her personal life in a new tell-all.

The book will touch upon her troubled childhood, past struggles with alcohol, and a bizarre sex life with husband John Cusimano.

Rachael has always kept a diary, so it's easy for her to throw it all into a book.

She's been shopping the idea around to several publishers. It sounds like the content of the book will be a major contrast to her bubbly TV personality we've all grown to know.

I'm definitely buying this. I LOVE RACHAEL RAY!

Carey Hart Still Hopes for a Future with Pink

Carey Hart Still Hopes for a Future with Pink | Pink
They broke up in February but former competitive biker Carey Hart still holds hope for a future with his estranged wife, Pink.

Hart, 33, tells PEOPLE he's not sure if his marriage to Pink, 28, is retrievable, but "I would like to have wishful thinking and say, 'Yes.' Only time will tell."

Their plan?

"Maintain a friendship, and who knows what will happen when we get older," Hart said Friday at the Flo-TV X-Games party in West Hollywood. "For the next three years, we're both extremely busy people so it's tough."

In the meantime, he's working at his new club, Wasted Space, in Las Vegas. "I allow myself one cocktail" while working, Hart says. "Everything is going good, but it's still a lot of work!"

But Hart admits there's not much time left to do one thing he's really looking forward to – being a dad.

"I am [on a time clock]," Hart says. "I don't want to do it past 35. My body is so destroyed, and I want to be a fun, young dad, not crippled and beat up. So I'd like to [have kids] by 35. I want 'em!"

Lance Armstrong Split With Kate Hudson Because She Was 'Too Needy'

Lance Armstrong's recent split from actress Kate Hudson was caused because she was "just too needy," an associate at Armstrong's LiveStrong foundation told the Chicago Sun-Times.

The cycling champion, 36, felt the '"Fool's Gold" actress, 28, came on "too strong, too fast," said the source. He sensed "Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can't be on her own without a man in her life at all times.''

Armstrong also allegedly thought Hudson was escalating the relationship into something more serious than he wanted, turning dates into family outings with her son Ryder, 4, from her marriage to musician Chris Robinson.

The source also tells the newspaper that Armstrong's relationship with singer Sheryl Crow, which lasted for three years, was successful because ''Sheryl's one very independent woman. Lance liked that."

Judge Won't Nix Suit Against Nancy Grace in Mom's Suicide

OCALA, Florida  —  A federal judge has refused to dismiss a lawsuit that claims CNN's Nancy Grace pushed the mother of a missing toddler to suicide through aggressive questioning.

CNN and Grace argued the wrongful death lawsuit brought by Melinda Duckett's family would "severely chill" journalists' coverage of missing-persons cases. But U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges on Thursday denied their motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

Duckett, 21, was on Grace's show after her son Trenton went missing from her apartment in August 2006. Grace grilled the woman, accusing her of hiding something because Duckett did not take a lie-detector test and answered vaguely regarding her whereabouts.

Duckett fatally shot herself before the network aired the pre-taped interview.

The family claims Grace's intense questioning caused severe emotional distress that led to the suicide. The lawsuit also claims that the decision to air the interview after her suicide caused the family to suffer severe emotional distress and media and public harassment. They are seeking a jury trial, unspecified damages more than $15,000 and punitive damages.

Trenton family attorney Jay Paul Deratany said attorneys will begin taking testimony.

"There is more information out there to be gleaned," said Deratany. "If Melinda had any information, Nancy Grace stopped the investigation in its track."

Police have said Duckett is the only suspect in her son's disappearance.

A message left Friday for an attorney representing Grace and CNN were not immediately returned.

The Truth About Those Dark Knight Sequel Casting Rumors

Since The Dark Knight is headed to become the second biggest grossing film of all time (domestically), rumors have already begun as to what villains will be featured in the enevitable sequel. The latest from the rumor mill has Johnny Depp as The Riddler, Angelina Jolie as The Catwoman, and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin. Oh my!

Wouldn’t Johnny Depp make a great Riddler? Yeah, BUT the truth of the matter is that Christopher Nolan has not yet signed on for a third Batman film. His brother and screenwriter Jonathan Nolan is supposedly still on the set doing work for Terminator Salvation. And who knows what David Goyer is up to. Even if he is busy penning a treatment, which is doubtful, I’m confident that casting talks won’t take place for quite some time. Nolan is also the type of guy to cast a role only when he has a script in hand. So I’m sure we won’t hear any casting announcements any time soon. But also take note that none of the actors who have played villains thus far were considered A-listers. And by that I mean, none of them alone could (at least, at the time) open a big blockbuster movie.

As to which villains will be featured in the next Batman film?

Goyer recently told MTV that Chris has decided on a theme for a potential third film. And anyone who has seen either of Nolan’s Batman films know that the theme is inexorably tied to the villain. And while I can easily imagine someone like The Riddler in the Nolanverse, turned into a serial killer who leaves clues behind. I can’t quite imagine a theme based on The Riddler, which would effect Bruce Wayne. And the same could be said for many of the prominent characters in the Batman franchise.

And remember, Goyer and Nolan told us that with 70 years of Batman history, they are more interested in some of the “dozens if not hundreds of other characters” that “had not been in the movies before, and had not been in the sixties TV show before.” My guess is that the villain might not be anyone we expect.

Who are some of the lesser known villains that could fit into the Nolanverse? Who should play them?

Pop Quiz: Belinda Carlisle

Aidin Vaziri
Sunday, August 3, 2008

The last time we saw Belinda Carlisle, the former Go-Go's singer was posing for Playboy. Now the 49-year-old solo star is making her return to the live stage as part of this summer's Regeneration Tour, which features several acts that were big in the '80s playing the hits that made them famous. In Carlisle's case, that means five Top-20 pop tunes, including "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" and "Mad About You." The Human League, ABC and A Flock of Seagulls also appear on the bill Aug. 11 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. We talked to Carlisle by phone from her home in the South of France.

Q: Why did you sign up for this thing?

A: I haven't toured in the States as a solo artist in about seven or eight years. I've done these shows before in Europe. They're easy and fun. For the audience, it's an evening of instant gratification. So there are a lot of different reasons. Also, my family gets to come out and see me.

Q: Do you get to sneak any Go-Go's songs into the set?

A: Yeah, but it's 90 percent my solo stuff.

Q: In the '80s you used to have drugs sent by FedEx to all your tour stops. Who knew you were so rock 'n' roll?

A: Oh, yeah. I could have done anything back then. I took advantage of being young and wealthy and having no responsibilities. I like to think I left no stone unturned.

Q: Are you worried this tour is going to bring back any bad habits? I heard the guys in A Flock of Seagulls are maniacs.

A: No, not at all. I think everybody on this tour has been through it. Most people are at a point in their lives where they have let their egos go, and they're doing it to have a good time. I like to do the best possible show. That requires a lot of rest and sleep. I should look like a million years old.

Q: At one point, you were simultaneously attending Overeaters Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous. How did that work out for you?

A: I'm totally sober. Sobriety has given me a second lease on life. I'm also able to work a lot and make a lot of decisions I wouldn't have been able to make.

Win tickets to see the FINAL PERFORMANCE OF RENT!!!

You've seen Rent more times than you can count. You've seen 21 Rogers, 12 Mimis and 57 “Seasons of Love” soloists (if you count the Benny tour and understudies, and you do count them!). Or maybe you aren't an obsessed Renthead; you simply love the show because it moves you and it rocks! But are you the ultimate Rent fan? Yes! Yes! Emphatically yes? Well, and JetBlue counter with a simple retort: prove it!” The prize? A trip to New York City that'll drop you into the audience for the musical's final, tearful goodbye performance on September 7, a night which promises to be the Broadway event of the decade.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Film and upload your own video stating your case. Why you? Sing, speak, dance or just be creative in proving you are the ultimate Rent fan. Remember that is a family site – abusive or inappropriate content, no matter how bohemian, will be taken out of the running. Videos can be no longer than two minutes. Videos longer than two minutes are automatically disqualified. All video submissions must be received by Thursday, August 14.
  • All approved videos will be posted below, so come back and check out your competition—and share your video with your friends and family.
  • will announce ten videos as finalists on Friday, August 15. These ten videos will then be judged by a panel of special guests , who will ultimately decide which fan they think deserves a spot in the VIP final show crowd.
  • The grand prize winner will be announced on Friday, August 22.

Go to the source for more info and to submit your videos.

I'm still in denial about this closing tbh. Whenever I'm in NYC (which is about 4-5 times a year) I always see this at least twice. I've won the lottery seats every time except for twice. I've probably seen the show 20 times and I love it every time, even when Joey Fatone was in it..though I'll tell you right now that he sucked so hard.

stoner classics that 'smoke' pineapple

The bloodshot, grin-wrinkled eyes of Seth Rogen and James Franco have been dopily gazing out from posters all over town lately. The pair star in Friday's "Pineapple Express," a caper built on the stoner vibe present in many of writer-producer Judd Apatow's comedies. But "Pineapple" is hardly the first film distinguished (or improved) by an appreciation of the sinister smoke. Here are a few classics renowned for going one toke over the line.

Reefer Madness a k a Tell Your Children (1936)
The founding father of stoner movies, this exploitation flick follows neat-o students who find that an inadvertent drag on a jazz cigarette leads to rape, madness, suicide and murder - rather than, say, fascination with patterned wallpaper and the munchies.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Advertised as "the ultimate trip," this is a pothead perennial, for obvious reasons. It opens with excitable apes, features the freakiest talking computer you ever saw, builds to a psychedelic light show - then brings on the giant space baby! Far out!

Up in Smoke (1978)
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong remain the hairy faces of West Coast stonerism, and their first movie - featuring a van made of marijuana - established their freewheeling style. A bunch more movies followed - and we hear the granddaddies of ganja plan to reunite.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

Dazed and Confused (1993)
A joint entry (pun intended) for these outstanding high-school ensemble movies, which present pot smoking as a fact of teenage life. Surf bum Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) and super-slacker Ron Slater (Rory Cochrane) became icons of checking out.

The Big Lebowski (1998)
"Mind if I do a jay?" The Big Lebowski is loosely based on classic film noir, but you never saw Bogart bogarting like this. Jeff Bridges' Dude never lets little things like kidnappings and death threats interfere with his bowling commitments, or his Thai stick.

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004)
The Cheech and Chong of our time, Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) get high without quite dropping out. But is there a simpler, more sincere expression of weedophilia than Kumar's love scene with a giant bag of pot?

Ifans Causes Controversy With Date Rape Remarks

Rhys Ifans has provoked outrage amongst rape support groups after apparently making light of date rape in an interview.

The Notting Hill star was recently asked by U.K. station Radio Q to comment on a track by the band The Gutter Twins.

He expressed approval for the group, saying: "It's kind of like being date raped, which I liked."

Asked by the presenter if date rape is a good thing, Ifans continued: "Well, yeah, for guys."

And the remarks, which are due to be broadcast in the U.K. this week, have prompted anger from rape crisis groups.

Grahame Rhodes of the Roofie Foundation, a British helpline for victims of drug-related rape, says, "If he wants to retract that, it would be nice for the 9,000 people who have been drug raped in the past 12 years.

"It shows a total lack of understanding and compassion for the issues. I hope everyone boycotts everything he does now."

Um, wow, awkward turtle. I don't even really know him; I just know he dated Sienna Miller, who's clearly a real winner as well. Anyone have some kind of SVU .gif for this? Feels appropriate.

(P.S.--epic post was epic fun last night, you guyz. :D)

Robert Downey Jr. and Sacha Baron Cohen will be puffing from Sherlock Holmes' pipe. Inset, Basil Rathbone as Holmes.

Who's ahead in the race to upgrade Sherlock Holmes for contemporary audiences? It's elementary, says director Guy Ritchie.

"They don't even have a script yet."

The 'they' Ritchie is referring to are Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell, who have announced plans to team as Holmes and Dr. Watson respectively in a lighthearted spin on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic sleuth.

Ahead of them, though, is Ritchie's dramatic production which will star Robert Downey Jr. in his first post-Iron Man role. Unlike previous incarnations of the character, Downey Jr.'s deductive genius will be as practiced throwing a punch as he is unraveling a mystery.

"Originally he was this intellectual action man. I think what happened was they played that down because they didn't have the means of executing the action in an interesting way," Ritchie explains. "But now we do have the means and we have the technology, so we're just riding on the back of that. It still remains in its period, but we liked the idea of this intellectual action man."

Ritchie's Holmes shoots this fall after which Downey Jr. will segue to no-brainer Iron Man 2.

TEST RUN: One of the most talked-about surprises at last weekend's Comic-Con expo in San Diego was the sneak screening of preliminary footage from the top-secret, didn't-even-know-they-were-making-it Tron 2.

Back in 1982, the original was famed for its visual effects but barely registered at the box office. Star Wars it was not.

Now 26 years later, Disney obviously believes the cult audience that has grown up with the flick is primed for a return to that video-game-inspired world. Although no release date was revealed -- and we're not sure they've even begun production -- the fleeting luminescent imagery sent fanboys buzzing. In it, a light-cycle chase concludes in the reappearance of Jeff Bridges, reprising his role from the original. The twist? This time it looks like he's the villain.

OOH, BABY: Before she got married in February to producer Nick Cokas, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee admits her plan was to have a baby immediately after the wedding.

And now? Not so much, says McPhee, who plays a pregnant sorority girl in the comedy House Bunny -- part of a gang of college misfits coached by a Playboy Bunny (Anna Faris) in the art of being popular with guys. The reason she gives was the "preggie pad" she wore. "There were two different bellies," she says. "One was prosthetic and one was a preggie pad that connects at the bottom. I wore that one more often than the actual prostetic, which you wore when you had to show the belly button and that kind of stuff.

"Before I got married, I was like 'I wanna have kids right away. And then I got married, and I was like 'No.' It might have had something to do with wearing the preggie pad for two months. So, thank you House Bunny."

BACK IN TIME: Meanwhile, it was Seth Rogen's idea to have Huey Lewis & The News write a title song for his pot-action comedy Pineapple Express -- just like Lewis did all the time in the '80s. Again, ironically funny.

"This movie is somewhat of an homage to '80s action movies in its own way, and we thought, 'What's the one thing every great '80s movie has? A song by Huey Lewis that sings the title of the movie. I ran it by these guys one day and said, 'Y'know what would be crazy? If we got Huey Lewis to do a song for this.' And for some reason I thought he would be, like, unobtainable. But it was way easier than we thought," Rogen adds wryly. "Two days later, we had a song from Huey Lewis."

Robert Downey Jr has the best fans, and they deserve the best, so please, you know who you are, cut the shit.

day19 polaroid project featuring some celebs

Day19’s Portrait Project is an epic and ever-growing collection of 4x5 Polaroids capturing young faces in an old-fashioned way.

The subjects, a cross-section of artists, writers, performers and activists, were photographed using a large format camera, which requires the subjects freeze their expressions for around 20 seconds per image. In the era of digital point-and-shoots and phone cameras, the Portrait Project takes a comparatively slow, almost lumbering approach, one that forces the subject to re-engage. There is no hair or makeup, and no special lighting, and the result is a collection of raw, unpretentious portraits reminiscent of Depression-era Farm Security Administration photography.

“Walker Evans has always been a huge influence,” says Jeremy Weiss of Day19. “His style was to just document the people, and that is what was so beautiful about it. No tricks, no art scene politics about what’s hip and what’s not. Just straight up documentation of people. I am so obsessed with that.”

Each subject had their picture taken twice - once by Jeremy Weiss and once by Claire Weiss. There are no re-shoots, no second chances, no re-touchings.

Those photographed include artist Mel Kadel, actor Leo Fitzpatrick, musician Slash, and two-year-old baby Aya Mei Mourning Duncan. And dozens more - music producer Boom Bip, artist Sage Vaughan, actor Jack Black and Jennifer Clavin, singer with punk band Mika Miko. As word spreads, the project keeps growing – latest subjects are actress Daryl Hannah, rapper Mike Jones, filmmaker David Lynch and Reece, a forest ranger.

“One of the most inspiring things is how people that we have photographed really seem to want to help,” says Jeremy. “Everyone has had suggestions of other people we should get in touch with to photograph. It’s like they are part of something bigger, which makes it makes it feel like it is much more than just our project now.”

Kevin Smith's new movie gets NC-17 cause of the word "porno"

Adult rating for "Zack and Miri Make a Porno"

Monday, July 28, 2008 | 11:45 AM

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Though the MPAA says the rating is "pending appeal," it's slapped an NC-17 on Kevin Smith's next movie because of "some graphic sexuality."

Seth Rogen, who stars with Elizabeth Banks in "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," recently was asked by AP Radio about the struggle for an R rating. Rogen says "it's a mystery" because he says "we live in a world where you can disembowel someone in a youth hostel in Romania, but you can't show people having sex."

He says he doesn't know what to do about the rating and he's "taking suggestions." Rogen says he doesn't think "Zack and Miri" deserves an NC-17.

He says he and his movie-making pals have "done some dirty stuff and this isn't anything outside" of what they've done before. So, he wonders if the MPAA is doing this because "the word 'porno' is in the title and that kind of freaks people out, even

Zack and Miri Make a Porno" is expected to be released on Halloween.

Ryan Adams Responds To Courtney Love

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ryan Adams has responded to the claims that he took money from Courtney Love and from her daughter Frances Bean’s trust fund to record his album ‘Rock And Roll”.

Adding a section on his official website entitled ‘Impersonal Swordfish’, the singer links to a statement that seems to be about the situation.

“I've been dealing with the truth that I have at times been a bad example and/or glorified self destructive behavior. This was never intentional, but rather a consequence of leading a public life in plain sight and never expecting any sort of preferential treatment, isolation or protection,” states Adams.

"I've realized and accepted that if people decide to dislike me, they're going to find reasons to justify disliking me. There's nothing I can do about that. That said, it still does pain me to be accused of fictional crimes against innocents or to be implicated in romantic gossip involving the possibly reality-challenged--however unreliable the source or outlandish the accusations. In the end, however, I know that I have never done or even meant anyone any harm.”

The response comes from a recent statement on Love’s MySpace blog about Adams taking $858,000 from her to fund the record.

"breaking dawn" sells over 250,000 copies in first day

Borders Group, Inc. today announced that its approximately 1,000 Borders and Waldenbooks stores throughout the U.S. and its site sold more than a quarter million copies of Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn" in total on its first day of sales, Saturday, Aug. 2. The book was so hotly anticipated that the number of pre-orders the retailer received for "Breaking Dawn" was second only in its history to the Harry Potter books.

"Breaking Dawn" is the fourth and final installment in Meyer's "Twilight" saga. It officially went on sale beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and was snapped up by eager fans, hundreds of thousands of whom attended special midnight release parties to get the book the moment it became available. The first-day "Breaking Dawn" sales total is nearly 10 times what the retailer's first-day sales were for "Eclipse," the third book in the series, illustrating the saga's fast-growing popularity.

Borders Group estimates that more than 225,000 fans attended midnight release parties at its Borders and Waldenbooks stores nationwide that lasted until the early morning hours, where fans of Stephenie Meyer and the popular "Twilight" series participated in costume contests, trivia competitions, debates and a host of other fun activities.

Jennifer and Ben leave restaurant / J Lo and Marc leave Foxtails

Situated in South Beach since departing out of LAX Airport on Friday, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck made the trip to the sunshine state with politics on the agenda.

And last night (August 2), Jen and Ben attended a fundraiser in support of presidential candidate Barack Obama, as the high-price ticket event was also attended by Affleck’s longtime pal Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana

Telling why she supports the Illinois senator, Ms Garner told press: “Ultimately I felt inspired by him and I don’t think anyone in our generation has had that experience.”

Backing his man, Matt Damon added: “It comes down to a simple choice for all of us. If you like the direction the country is going, you should vote for McCain. But if you want a candidate who rejects those policies but has a vision, then Obama’s your guy!”

Following the swanky Barack fundraiser, Affleck and Garner then headed off to a nearby South Beach eatery, meeting Damon and Barroso for a dinner date in celebration of their politically productive evening.

In an exclusive interview and photos, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie offer PEOPLE an intimate look at their growing family.

"It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time," Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the couple's four older children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play (hide-and-seek is a favorite) on the château's sprawling grounds.

Adds Pitt: "[It's] still a cuckoo's nest."

Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. "[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them," says Jolie. "It's sweet – they are little mommies."

nick and selena are TOTALLY DOING IT

Proof that Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez went out on a first date and kissed? Jonas Brothers dished to Girls' Life: Joe, 'Nick had the best line that I can remember.' Nick admitted, 'Oh, yeah. On one date, the girl said to me, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' So I said, 'I don't follow the rules.'' The brothers high-five to that one. Nick, 'Ooooh! It was so good!'

Selena recently spilled to Twist that she kissed her crush on their first date: 'I had dinner on the beach with a crush and there were lights on the palm trees! Then, went walking on the beach, and after that we slow danced.

Wait, it gets better. While we were slow dancing my crush and I had our first kiss! And after it, I leaned back and I said, 'You cheated.' And he said, 'Why' and I said, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' Then he said, 'Well, I never really play by the rules.'

Michael Showalter's First Blog

The star of Stella, The State, and The Baxter is's newest blogger.

Welcome to my first ever blog for! Some of you may know me from my work on The State, or Stella, The Baxter or Wet Hot American Summer. Most of you probably know me from the episode of Law & Order that I did eight years ago where I played the forensics expert Allen Gee. Either way the question remains, "Why is this guy blogging on And more importantly what does he have to say about music?"

That's a very good question especially considering I stopped listening to music after the Police broke up. But now that they're back together I've started listening to music again! The truth is that I love music but more importantly I love MY music and want to talk about it. Right now I have the soundtrack to Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp version) on constant repeat, before that it was Sarah Bareilles, and before that it was Grizzly Bear. The point is -- for me it's not about who makes the music. It's about whether I like it. Can I dance to do it naked in my bedroom while I'm watching a baseball game with the sound off? Does it make me laugh, cry, contemplate suicide? So that's what I'll be talking about: my music, which I love.

Here's a little bit about me just to kick it off.

Christian Bale's X-rated wish

Christian Bale wants to make an X-rated 'Batman' movie.

The British actor - who stars as Batman/Bruce Wayne in 'The Dark Knight' - thinks the movie franchise could benefit from including a few steamy sex scenes.

He said: "I do think there is room for an 18-rated 'Batman'. It's a little bit tricky to broach the sex aspect of the story when you want kids to come see it as well. I mean, I think it would be very interesting to do a 12 version and an 18 version - two different cuts."

Christian also revealed he doesn't share his character's interest in high-tech gadgets.

The 34-year-old star added: "I am terrible with gadgets! I left school without ever even touching a computer.

"I do like motorbikes, that's the one thing I am interested in. I do tend to break or crash them though!"

New Cherrybomb/Rupert Grint stuff...

Sunday Life joins Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging star Kimberley Nixon for an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse at Cherrybomb, the latest Hollywood movie being filmed in Northern Ireland

Belfast has been buzzing in the last few weeks as a touch of Hollywood rolled into town with the filming of Cherrybomb.

This coming-of-age drama set in Belfast brings together a plethora of homegrown talent including our own James Nesbitt and a score by acclaimed local DJ David Holmes.

The feature film, which stars Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint and Kimberley Nixon of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging fame is the joint debut of husband-and-wife team Glen Leyburn and Lisa Barros D'Sa.

Behind the scenes is a flurry of activity with talented crew of local designers, stylists and specialists all keeping the young crew on their toes.

Grint — better known for his role as Harry Potter's sidekick Ron — said he was having a ball during his filming in Belfast.

"We haven't has a lot of time off, but we have seen quite a bit of Northern Ireland and I have really enjoyed it.

“I particularly loved the Giant's Causeway and the [Carrick-a-Rede] rope bridge. Everyone has had a real laugh on set and they have been a great crew to work with,” he said.

Rupert's sentiments were echoed by the local team involved behind the scenes of the production.

Head of costume design on the film, Hazel Webb Crozier, from Belfast, who also worked on Closing the Ring, said: "The cast on this film are very young, but they have been great fun to work with as they are full of enthusiasm. It's been fun kitting the characters out and looking for outfits for these streetwise kids to wear."

And it seems it's not just the cast and crew who have been involved behind the scenes.

Filming moved last week to north Belfast, where a local property developer was only too happy to quite literally open his doors to the production team.

Desie Wilson from Donard Homes says he was surprised and delighted when a location manager contacted him about using one of his developments for some of the shooting on Cherrybomb.

"It was certainly an unusual request, but we were delighted to help out," he said.

“Basically they were looking for a house to have as a base for some of their scenes and a street as a background and our site at Railway Court on York Road fitted their bill.

"It certainly created a bit of excitement in the street this week and we will all be looking forward to seeing the film though we will probably not recognise our wee house when we see it!”

Radiohead Turn A Doubter Into A Believer At Lollapalooza

I first have a disclaimer to note before I dive into my review of the Radiohead portion of Lolla. First, I hate it when someone says a band’s show is awesome, due to the fact that they never go to shows and don’t even know what awesome is. Second, I hate when people say a band did an awesome show just because the band is really good. No matter how talented, any band can have a bad show.

One last thing to note is that I really dig Radiohead but I by no means worship them to the extent that most people do. Furthermore, In Rainbows was a good, solid album but I wouldn’t call it the album of the year for 2007 like damn near everyone did.

With that said, you are about to read an honest, unbiased review of Radiohead.

First off, I was crushed that the sound was so low. I could’ve literally had a conversation with my friend without even raising my voice. I wanted my ears to be ringing when I witnessed “Paranoid Android” for the first time, but sadly this did not happen.

My next complaint is that I literally was clueless as to how Rolling Stone could name them “Best Festival Act.” Simply put, with the exception of “There, There,” I was immensely unimpressed for the first half hour; it just wasn’t exciting. Did they have a wickedly rad light show consisting of dozens of clear icicle-looking lights that blasted all sorts of of colors all over the place? Hell yes they did, but this brings up one more thing I hate, and that is when people think a show is awesome based on the visual treats and not the music.

Now, before I get crucified, here comes the good part. Maybe it was the fact that this was the first show of the tour, and that explains the temporary boredom. I don’t really know what it was to be honest. But out of nowhere I suddenly just became amazed, enthralled.

I’m going to sound like I am one of those Radiohead worshippers, but Radiohead have this quality that is hard to define. Radiohead’s music grips you, you’re drawn in like a moth to flame, and it takes you places (boy, do I sound cheesy right now). Anyway, when they played “The National Anthem” I finally saw the Radiohead that everyone talks about and I was relieved and stoked out of my mind.

“Jigsaw Falling Into Place” was one of the biggest highlights. I never realized how much energy that song had — it was as if the song took over Thom Yorke. There is nothing I love more than when I can tell the musician actually feels what they are playing.

The next insanely glorious moment was the duo of “Everything in its Right Place” and “Fake Plastic Trees” with — wait for it — fireworks! It’s still up in the air whether this was actually part of the show or not. Nonetheless, forget Pink Floyd laser light shows, we need Radiohead fireworks shows. It was certainly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in concert.

“1984″ is one of my favorite books and it’s beyond me why no one has adapted it into a kick-ass film (Zack Snyder, get on it!). Suddenly, I felt like I was in that world that George Orwell wrote about and was attending some illegal concert as a helicopter continuously flew above the show and shined its spotlight on the crowd.

“Videotape” was being performed as this was running through my mind. I could picture the trailer to the movie in my head as Yorke repeated “On videotape, on videotape.” Why the hell did I think of this? I have no freaking clue, but that’s what I meant when I said Radiohead take you places. As Thom Yorke eerily drones on the lyrics, you become mesmerized.

My life became complete at around 10 p.m. August 1, 2008, because they closed the show with “Idioteque.” As Thom Yorke shouted, “Take the money and run! Take the money and run! Take the money!” I got goosebumps up and down my arms. Don’t I sound like a fanboy now? I was completely in awe of their performance. Who cares about the rocky start, because Radiohead took me places. Are they as good as people say? Yes.

Day one is now over. I wish I could of seen more of the Raconteurs, because I’ve never given them the listen that they deserve and I was thoroughly impressed with the portion of the set I managed to see. Jack White is a guitar virtuoso; I could watch him play all day. I’ve been to countless shows, and somehow this was my first time to see all the bands I mentioned: The Go! Team, The Black Keys, Duffy, the Raconteurs, and the mighty Radiohead. Can’t wait for day two…

Lauren Conrad & Kyle Howard Dodge Dating Questions

Are Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard dating? They'll be the last to tell – for right now.

The Hills star played coy when asked Saturday about reports from pals – supported by sightings at several L.A. parties recently – that she and the My Boys actor are an item.

"I'm just dating," Conrad, 22, told PEOPLE on Saturday at the Do Something Awards Pre-Party for the Teen Choice Awards. "I'm single and having fun."

Howard, 30 was more direct. "I'm not going to answer that," he said Saturday at the Celebrity Kickball event hosted by French Connection in Malibu.

They met through Brody Jenner a few weeks ago, a friend tells PEOPLE, and have been seen together at Crown Bar on July 23 – "Almost on top of each other," a witness says – and a few days later at Project Beach House in Malibu and at jazz night at Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

Paris Hilton mom calls McCain ad "waste of money"

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Paris Hilton's mother -- a John McCain donor -- on Sunday dismissed as a "waste of money" a television ad that used her daughter and Britney Spears to portray Democrat Barack Obama as more celebrity icon than chief executive.

Kathy Hilton, the mother of the blond socialite-actress, lambasted the Republican presidential candidate's advertisement in a blog posted on the political Web site Huffington Post (

"It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign," Hilton wrote.

"It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States," she wrote.

The McCain ad, titled "Celeb," asks viewers: "Is he (Obama) ready to lead?"

Hilton and her husband, a scion of the Hilton hotel chain, donated $4,600 to McCain's November White House bid.

McCain has portrayed himself as an independent-minded politician with a history of bucking authority and said last week that his rival has shown little more than strong speaking skills.

Robert Downey Jr. Talks Iron Man 2, And Second Action Franchise: Sherlock Holmes

Written by Tony Teofilo
Sunday, 03 August 2008

Fresh off an amazing, multi-layered comedic performance in TROPIC THUNDER, Robert Downey Jr. commented on Iron Man 2, saying that his goals for the movie included not following the superhero formula.

“Our goals are more of the same. The idea that he said he’s Iron Man in part 1…it’s one thing to say it, and it’s another thing to actually evolve to the point where you can live in a heroic fashion. You know, they say, ‘The superhero movie always needs to follow…’ and I said who is that guy? Get him out of here! We want to do what worked for us last time, in a way that evolves. We’re talking about a guy who is put in an extraordinary circumstance, and the people that are around him, and how that creates a sense of family, and how that disrupts whatever forces that we have to say that are working [in his life]. I like the idea of an Iron Man 2 that you’re able to understand various points of view. You’re able to touch on some subjects that are a lot more far reaching, while still grounding it in entertainment.”

Downey then spoke about the upcoming SHERLOCK HOLMES project, directed by Guy Ritchie. Not only will audiences see the famed English detective appear in a new tale not connected to any of the stories previously told by Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle, but this time around, Sherlock Holmes will share a passion that Downey Jr. practices in real life: martial arts.

“Sherlock Holmes, we start October 6th. Guy Ritchie’s take on it was that…it’s like [we’ll be] making a contemporary version of a very classic portrayal of exactly how it was. But it’s not telling one of the stories from one of the books or anything like that. Watson…it’s all there. The cool thing about Sherlock Holmes was he’s actually a very skilled martial artist. So it’s going to have elements of that…it’s not just his deduction and all that stuff. It’s going to be a very action-packed version of that. To me it’s really exciting.”

“I’m always training. I’m big into martial arts. We’re putting together a team of people, we’re going to try to do something a little more transcendent and interesting. I love the idea of martial arts and bare-knuckle boxing…before the Queensbury rules, where it was all kind of proper, it was this real balls-to-the-wall, brutal type stuff. Guy Ritchie’s a martial artist, and martial arts student…so we’re going to have a real fun time doing all that.”

TROPIC THUNDER opens in theaters August 13th!

Inside Pete Wentz' Lollapalooza After Party

After 12 hours of sun, sweat and music, we thought we were ready to stick a fork in Saturday (especially after Rage Against The Machine beat us into submission). But when Pete Wentz extends an invitation, you accept (after all, he’s kind of MTV family now). So there we were, tucked away in the closest thing that his Angels & Kings club has to a quiet spot hanging with Cobra Starship, The Academy Is… and, of course, our host (and the Mrs). Pete was fresh from Grant Park where he took in as much of Lolla as he could (though he told us that, ironically, an “artist” credential means there’s really nowhere to watch the show), while Cobra Starship and The Academy Is… are both in the middle of Warper Tour runs.

Gabe Saporta and company managed to summon the energy for a late night performance, grooving through a fistful of songs “to have sex to” as he put it. The house was packed with old friends, and a warm vibe filled the room. Still, a couple of the guys we talked to admitted to having Lolla envy. See what Pete and The Academy Is… had to say about Lollapalooza taking over Chicago after the jump.

The Online Fan World of the Twilight Vampire Books
Inspired online marketing is key to the astounding success of Twilight, a series of vampire novels
By Heather Green

Harry who? A year after J.K. Rowling wrapped up the blockbuster Harry Potter saga, author Stephenie Meyer has booksellers almost ready to forget the brilliant young wizard. Her Twilight books, about the tangled relationship between a handsome vampire and an endearingly ordinary teenage girl, have become reliable smash hits. When Breaking Dawn, the last of the four-book series, comes out on Aug. 2, it's expected to surpass all her previous efforts, with an initial print run of 3.2 million copies.

Hirsch Prompts Gay Rumour

A crew member on Emile Hirsch's movie Speed Racer is convinced the actor is gay, after walking in on an awkward moment between him and co-star Kick Gurry

The pair was taking a break between scenes in a trailer onset in Berlin, Germany, when an assistant burst in, while the Into the Wild actor was half naked and out of breath.

Hirsch explains, "Me and Kick were in the trailer hanging out. Kick was sitting back with his hands behind his head and I was doing push ups. It was hot so I peeled my driver's suit down a bit, and then Eric, the wonderfully gay production assistant, walked in. I jumped up really quick, but I was out of breath.

"Eric slammed the door shut. We went to Eric later and tried to explain. He was like, 'Shhhhh. I will never tell.'"

But Hirsch discovered a positive side to the confusion, when Eric leaped to his defence during a later confrontation. He adds, "I then got in this feud with a German woman and Eric defended me. He told her, "You do not understand what this boy goes through every day.'"

Hirsch has been linked with Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried, and Gurry dated Christina Ricci.

Katy Perry Alloy interview

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Katy Perry is the new Rihanna. Like "Umbrella" last year, "I Kissed a Girl" has become the anthem of summer 2008. You can't turn on the radio without hearing it (not that we're complaining)! Then again, she's also reminiscent of Madonna, thanks to all the controversy her uninhibited lyrics have created. But after chatting with Katy, we've decided that there's no use trying to pigeonhole this pop rocker -- to borrow a phrase from her ultimate same-sex star smooch, she's just being Katy!

Did you know "I Kissed a Girl" would be so huge when you wrote it?
When I wrote "I Kissed a Girl," I knew that it was gonna make a splash, but I didn't know that it was going to be such a huge cannon ball. So I'm happy that it did. I'm excited that it did.

A lot of people don't know that you released a gospel album early in your career. What changed your sound?
There was no like overnight switch. It's just one of those things where everybody grows up from 15 to 23. I'm very happy to be where I came from and love my family and my parents, [but] I live on my own, and I make choices for myself, and I'm an adult, and I feel like I see the world everyday in a bigger picture. I just started singing about my life and whatever went on in it. I've never been a very censored girl -- even when I was a kid, I was always saying what I felt, and I think that's just grown even more so [over time].

Luke & Rebecca in lurve

GEEKY Luke Marsden finally scored with busty Rebecca Shiner as the pair enjoyed TWO passionate all-night sessions.

Big Brother’s most bizarre couple were reunited on Friday after Luke was voted out of the telly house.

Afterwards, the nerdy politics student – who admits he is a sexual novice – said: “She tore me apart like a wild animal off the Discovery Channel!”

But, as our snaps show, his attempt at kinky bedroom antics looked more M&S than S&M.

Luke, 21, left the house saying he was desperate for a romp with naughty nursery nurse Bex, 21, who was voted out a week earlier.

And he did not have to wait long – she sneaked into his hotel that night to wait for him.

Yesterday the loved-up pair opened their hearts exclusively to the Daily Star – and confirmed that they are now an item.

And they revealed how they celebrated with TWO saucy all-night sex sessions.

Bex, 21, giggled: “I am over the moon. I waited for him at the hotel on Friday. It was so funny, because they pretended there was a fan waiting for him – and then I ran round the corner.

“He screamed like a girl when he saw me! As soon as I saw him, all the feelings came flooding back and I knew that I really liked him. I took him straight up to the bedroom!”

Luke said: “It’s so weird for me. One minute I was being evicted, interviewed by Davina McCall, then I am in bed with Rebecca.

“It’s all pretty mad, to be quite frank. Eight weeks and I avoided touching her boobs – not any more. They were slipping out of my hands. She certainly has more than a handful!”

The Wigan lad is open about his lack of sexual experience, while Bex says she has slept with 12 men before Luke.

She said: “I wasn’t nervous about spending the night with him – but he probably was!” Luke insisted: “I was not nervous at all, Rebecca!” And he added: “I’m also not at all bothered about how many guys she’s slept with.

“I’ve been open about my inexperience when it comes to sex. I mean, she’s the second person I have slept with in my life.

“But at the end of the day everyone needs to be taught new things and I am looking forward to her teaching me stuff.”

The pair never got down and really dirty in the Big Brother house, although Bex admitted they would love to have done if only BB bosses had switched off the cameras for one night.

She said: “I was so frustrated not being able to just grab him and throw him on the bed!”

They have made up for lost time now. The pair spent Friday and Saturday nights getting it on in a luxury north London hotel.

And Bex boasted that she could get lusty Luke excited without even laying a hand on him.

She said: “I whispered in his ear and on the back of his neck, and it was clear he was aroused.

“I even squashed him with my boobs! We just had a laugh together. It was so nice to be with him without having other people around judging us.

“We could be ourselves and just have a laugh.”

Luke said: “For the first 10 minutes we just hugged each other. We couldn’t let each other go.”

But the giggling couple admitted that, even in the hotel room, they kept waiting for Big Brother to call them to the Diary Room, and even checked for cameras.

“We certainly made up for lost time,” said Bex. “I don’t think either of us will ever forget Friday and Saturday nights. It was madness, because we kept thinking Big Brother was going to call us to the Diary Room.

“We were so sure that there were still cameras watching us, we even checked!”

And although their romance must rate as one of the most unlikely in Big Brother history, the couple are happy to admit that they are totally smitten.

Bex, famed for flashing her mighty boobs in the Channel 4 house, said: “He was shocked when I told him that I hadn’t been coping very well without him.

“He thought that I would have been off clubbing and snogging loads of other men.

“But I haven’t even looked at another man since I met my Luke.”

And her skinny lover smiled: “I am just glad that we are together. Being without her for the past week has been complete torture.”

Sorry ONTD. But when I stumbled across this I knew I couldn't suffer alone. What do we think about new housemate Nicole? I would've preferred Steph to go back in tbh.

At this year’s San Diego Comic Con Julie Gardner, Naoko Mori and Steven Moffat met with reporters to talk about all things Doctor Who and Torchwood. This was the first press event of the con, happening on Wednesday before Preview Night. We journalists gathered at a closed off restaurant in a nearby hotel to meet with the three Brits, who had literally just flown in from London, dropped their bags in their rooms and then joined us for some great conversations about our favorite shows. Despite the jet lag, all three were very gracious and happy to chat.

Divided into two tables I was with the group that first got to talk with Julie and Naoko about Torchwood. After joking about being jetlagged and English being Naoko’s second language (”we’re all doomed!”), we started by talking about the end of series two of Torchwood. Everyone pretty much agreed that the deaths of Owen and Tosh had them in tears with Naoko stating that the recorded message from Tosh was particularly difficult to do. Also, the other actors did not see the recording until they shot that scene, so the emotional reactions and tearing up by John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David-Lloyd are real. Naoko said that even in America people will come up to her visibly upset that Tosh is gone. She said one woman literally ran and tackled her to the ground saying she had never cried so much in her life!
