Dame Maggie Smith, pictured here at a recent awards show, is said to be battling breast cancer
Dame Maggie Smith is fighting a battle with breast cancer, it has been revealed today.
The 73-year-old Oscar winner, best known in recent years for her portrayal of Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, is now undergoing treatment for the disease, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Dame Maggie is said to have insisted on going ahead with filming the latest instalment of the hit series last month even though she was undergoing radiation therapy at the time.
"She is dealing with it in her typically brave and understated way," one of her friends told the Mandrake column.
"She has had a tumour removed and subsequently completed a course of chemotherapy.
"This was precautionary and the prognosis looks good. The last thing she wants to do is to make a fuss about it."
Dame Maggie has starred in such major films as The First Wives Club and Gosford Park over her 50-year career.
She is best-known as Miss Jean Brodie, the fierce, Scottish teacher in the 1969 hit film of the same name, which cemented her position as one of Britain's most acclaimed actresses.
She returned to the West End stage in November last year in The Lady from Dubuque.
She is about begin work on Julian Fellowes' forthcoming film From Time to Time, filming for which has been put back to accommodate her treatment, according to the paper.
After her divorce from the late actor Sir Robert Stephens, Dame Maggie married playwright Beverley Cross, who died 10 years ago.
A spokesperson for Dame Maggie said that she was unable to comment.

If this is true, I hope the treatments would work, the cancer seems to be still in it's early stages. Get well soon, Dame maggie!

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett, recently ranked as the world's richest man, will be drawn into a fictional insider-trading scandal in an upcoming appearance on the TV soap opera "All My Children."
Buffett, 77, will play himself in an episode set to air during the May "sweeps" ratings period. It will be his second guest turn on the ABC daytime drama, a show spokesman said on Wednesday. His first appearance was in 1992.
Buffett and the creator of "All My Children," Agnes Nixon, are friends, and the investment magnate is a fan of the show, said the spokesman, Mike Cohen.
"He's been waiting for an invitation to come back, and he was speaking to Agnes, and they made it happen," Cohen told Reuters.
Buffett's part is being written into a story line of the show involving the character Erica Kane, the vixen entrepreneur and self-styled media mogul played by series veteran Susan Lucci.
Lucci's character recently pleaded guilty to insider trading -- a crime she unintentionally committed -- but ended up a fugitive when another convict she was handcuffed to escaped en route to prison.
Cohen said Buffett will enter the plot after Erica's capture and imprisonment when he is called upon by their mutual friend, Opal (Jill Larson), to use his influence to try to leverage a deal on Erica's behalf. The outcome, however, is not what Erica had anticipated.
Cohen said Buffett will be paid the union scale salary as a "day player" for his role, roughly $700.
Buffett told Nixon recently that he never cashed his check from his 1992 appearance. Instead, he had it framed as an office memento with a photograph from his day on the set, according to Cohen.
Earlier this month, Forbes magazine ranked Buffett, the head of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, as the world's wealthiest man with an estimated personal worth of $62 billion.
"All My Children" is one of the longest-running dramas on U.S. television, airing weekdays for 38 years on ABC, a unit of the Walt Disney Co.

Jordana Brewster on the Set of Fast and Furious 4 in downtown LA (March 4)
It’s been known for a while now that besides Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster will also be returning to the franchise that made her famous. She will be resuming the role of Mia Toretto, the sister of Diesel’s Dominic Toretto, in the upcoming “The Fast and the Furious 4″. According to previous reports, Mia is responsible for letting Dominic, currently in hiding in South America after the events of TFF1, know that his lover Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez) has died, bringing him out of hiding to attend her funeral back in the States.
Here is your first look at Jordana Brewster on the set of “The Fast and the Furious 4″. Nothing noteworthy, alas, just an actress doing what actresses do on movie sets — wait for everything to be ready and then shoot for a few minutes before shutting down again.

Diesel is chilling and enjoying the sights (especially the one in the hot red dress — wow), while Paul Walker may be shooting a scene. Or not. In any case, since “The Fast and Furious 4″ seems to be a popular topic on the site, here are more pictures from the set.
In “The Fast and the Furious 4″, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez returns. This will be the third go-around for Walker, and the second for everyone else. (Although as many of you know, Diesel did show up at the end of the third one, but does that really count as being an actual part of the movie?)

" Despite having a flawless driving license and no motoring or drug convictions to speak of, squeaky clean Daniel Radcliffe has to pay nearly four times (367%) more than Babyshambles front-man and notorious hell-raiser Pete Doherty for his car insurance, says Confused.com.
Based on 18 year-old Radcliffe registering his Fiat Punto at his Fulham address, and on 29 year-old Pete Doherty registering his Jaguar X-Type at his Wiltshire abode, Confused.com found that their annual car insurance quotes differed by up to £3,451.69, or 508%, in some instances. The colossal disparity between the stars’ quotes is all the more shocking when taking into account Pete Doherty’s convictions for a string of drug and driving offences.
Debra Williams, managing director of Confused.com, says: “It is frustrating that Daniel Radcliffe, who owns a modest car and lives a ‘clean’ lifestyle, is expected to pay a high price for his car insurance, just because he is under the age of 25 and living in London. Despite his rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, string of convictions, and swanky Jaguar X-Type, Pete Doherty’s insurance is, on average, £2,680 per year cheaper than his youthful celebrity counterpart, predominantly because he is nearly a decade older.
“Daniel needs to avoid falling foul of typical teenage misdemeanours, such as speeding and driving without due care and attention. Keeping his license clean, making sure he builds up his no claims bonus, will definitely enable Daniel to reap the benefits in the next few years.” "

Robin Williams is getting the "especially heinous" ripped-from-the-headlines treatment. The Oscar winner is set to guest star on the 200th episode of Law & Order: SVU, playing an engineer who, having suffered through a life-changing tragedy, has developed a deep distrust of authority and feels compelled to inform others about the dangers in "leading unquestioning lives," per NBC.
According to the NY Daily news a publicist for Shia had no comment on the bench warrant other than to say LaBeouf didn't have legal representation for such matters - adding to the confusion.
"They hand out tickets quite frequently around here. The signs are pretty visible," said Paul Ehre, owner of apparel shop Skyblupink on the block where LaBeouf was busted. "He wouldn't be the first to complain about it."
A California police rep said, "I can confirm that Shia LaBeouf was given a ticket on February 18 this year. He was standing on the 300 block of North San Fernando. There is a no smoking ordinance in certain parts of Burbank, and this area is one of them."
LaBeouf, or a legal rep on his behalf, was due to appear in court Tuesday but he didn't turn up and the judge ordered a $1,000 bench warrant be issued for him.
A Burbank Superior Court spokesperson says, "A bench warrant is to be issued because he didn't show up. It hasn't actually been issued yet, but that's what the judge has said."
"Mr. LaBeouf will either have to turn up to court or have an attorney appear on his behalf. This could happen at any time."

TMZ has learned that Shia LaBeouf finally showed this morning in a Burbank, Calif. court this morning to enter a plea -- sorta.

A date of April 24 was set for an arraignment and pre-trial hearing.

Raimi Reboots Ryan
Here's one we didn't see coming. Spider-Man director Sam Raimi is hooking up with Paramount Pictures to bring Tom Clancy hero Jack Ryan back to the big screen.
Raimi, according to a Variety report, will develop and direct a series of new movies centering on the CIA analyst character who was played by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck over the course of four films from 1990 to 2002.
The films will reportedly feature a younger Ryan who is at a more formative point in his career than in the prior movies. The four previous flicks in the Ryanverse are The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, and The Sum of All Fears.
Variety adds that the studio may opt to set the film in the present day, with a global threat triggering the action. This would seem to indicate that the movie won't be based on an existing Clancy novel.
I'm only behind this if Bruce Campbell is Jack Ryan. Otherwise no deal. I never saw the Ben Affleck one, it looked lame. Alec Baldwin and Bruce Campbell FTW.
Jenna Jameson would "die" if she could see Charlize Theron posing nude for PETA.
The adult movie star - who is encouraging people to 'Pleather Yourself' in a PETA campaign to promote fake leather - says the Oscar-winning 'Monster' star would be a perfect naked model for the animal rights group.
She said: "It would be amazing if Charlize Theron did one of our 'Go naked' campaigns. I saw her just the other day and she just blew me away. Charlize is so sexy - I would totally love for her to go naked. I'd die for that."
Jenna, 33, also said she is hoping 32-year-old Charlize can take over from her as the next "sex icon."
She added: "Bettie Page was the ultimate sex icon. Then next came Marilyn Monroe, then Pamela Anderson, then me. Now I'm on the lookout for the next woman to pass my title onto. Charlize would be perfect."
Jenna bb...I don't know if you haven't been informed, but you've been stripped of your title. A quick look in the fucking mirror might explain some things to you.
The girlfriend of Britney Spears' lover is speaking up. The woman, who was behind the reported rift between the pop star and Adnan Ghalib, insists she didn't steal him from her.
Waitress Amanda Pagel says she met Ghalib when a mutual friend introduced them in January. They grew closer together and the former paparazzo frequently visited her at her home. Their meetings never went out in public because Ghalib apparently didn't want to "betray" Spears.
She tells Look magazine, "He kept saying: As soon as she's better and back on her own two feet doing her own thing, we can go public."
Pagel also reveals that Ghalib only "pities" the "Toxic" singer. She says, "He told me he 'pitied' her and felt really sorry for her. She'd been through a lot and he used to say he was the only one that she trusted."
Spears eventually found out about the pair's affair when she had read text messages from the waitress to Ghalib's iPhone. She reportedly threw the phone in the pool during her tirade.
Pagel continues, "I felt sick. I knew the texts were ones we'd sent to each other. I used to send him texts saying 'I miss your kiss' and coupley stuff like that but when I found out that Britney had seen them. I freaked out and called him immediately."
She says their relationship has cooled down when pictures of them surfaced on the Internet. "I kept asking him why I had to wait for it to blow over - people were going to think of me as the girl who stole Britney's boyfriend, and that wasn't the case."
"I know he'll go mad when he reads this, but I want people to know I didn't steal Britney's boyfriend."
And her words for the pop star? Pagel advises, "I'd tell Britney to be careful who she trusts. I don't believe he wasn't sleeping with Britney. I just hope she doesn't get hurt like I did."

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Rock group the Raconteurs, whose members include Jack White of the White Stripes, is bypassing the standard months-long wait between finishing an album and releasing it with "Consolers of the Lonely," which will hit stores only weeks after completion.
The Third Man/Warner Bros. release, scheduled to hit retail shelves March 25, was completed the first week of March, according to a statement from the band.
"The purpose: to get the album to the fans as soon as possible and as we promised," the band says. "We wanted to get this record to fans, the press, radio, etc., all at the EXACT SAME TIME so that no one has an upper hand on anyone else regarding it's availability, reception or perception."

"Radiohead has invited fans to create animated videos for any of the songs on the band's groundbreaking In Rainbows album, and you don't even need to be an animation expert to enter.
Possible submission formats range from storyboards of "basic sketches with words" to concept videos. If you have a great idea but lack the skills to make it real, animation sharing site Aniboom can connect you to another entrant with whom to collaborate. The deadline for entry is April 27.
Ten semifinalists selected by Aniboom, TBD Records and Adult Swim will receive $1,000 each to produce one-minute videos. Anyone will be able to vote on Aniboom and MySpace, but Radiohead band members will ultimately choose the winner, who will receive $10,000 for the creation of a full-length music video. The Cartoon Network's Adult Swim may or may not premiere the video (apparently, that's yet to be determined)."

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Michael Cera will be taking the lead in Scott Pilgrim's Little Life, which will be directed by none other than Edgar Wright.
The movie will be based on the first volume of Brian Lee's popular Scott Pilgrim series.
It is a long way from the usual graphic novels optioned -- which all seem to be post-apocalyptic or deconstructed superheroes of late. Pilgrim is a 23-year-old slacker, who meets the girl of his dreams. To win her heart, he must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends. It's chock full of video game references, from evil bosses to power-ups, but manages to stay fairly grounded in reality. The first volume takes a very surprising twist, and it just gets better from there.

We'll see if the addiction carries through to the big screen -- but so far, I think it is off to a brilliant start.

In this week’s issue of PARADE, Mariah Carey talks to James Kaplan about leading a public life, being call a “diva” and reconciling with her father. Below, the singer talks more about how she had to deal with the pains of her past to work her way back to the top.
On Her Ex-Husband, Former Chairman of Sony Music, Tommy Mottola
“Some of the songs on the new album discuss a certain time of my life that was so intense. I grew up with such dysfunction that I was just used to it. I assumed that I didn’t have a right to be a happy in a personal life. If I had a career and all these other things, I thought, ‘you asked for it, you got it.’ But I look back at it now and I feel that part of that was my fault, for allowing the relationship to linger — or, dare I say, fester — for so long. I knew that I needed to be singing and expressing myself, or I never would have gotten through that period. I do believe that I learned a lot from him, and that he really did believe in my talent and I am very grateful for that. On my new album, the song 'Side Effects' says, ‘Kept my tears inside, ‘cause I knew if I started I’d keep crying for the rest of my life.’ It’s really true. At that point in my life [during my marriage] I didn’t cry because I had to be so emotionally cut off to deal with it.”
On Maintaining Artistic Integrity
“I never really felt famous. Even when my album Music Box was out, I didn’t feel that thing other young singers or songwriters who are just starting out feel when they become famous. I see other people who have one hit and they’re already thinking they’re the biggest star in the world. But I didn’t feel that because of the relationship that I was in and because I think there was a concerted effort to keep me from feeling too empowered. So how do you keep your artistic integrity while you become a corporation? You’ve got to go through some stuff! I feel like I connect to people through song because it’s filling a void in me. I don’t do it just because I want to make money or I want to be famous. I need to make music. If I didn’t have this, I don’t know where I would be.”
On Being an Outcast
"I felt very much like an outcast when I was younger. No matter where I went, there was always this sense of not really falling into place or into one category. I moved around a lot when I was growing up, so nobody knew me and I was never one thing or the other. Being biracial, I didn’t really have somebody to look at and say, ‘Okay, this person is exactly the same as me, and they’re out there.’ A lot of kids have said that to me, ‘Until you put your first record out, I didn’t feel like there was anybody that was the same as me.’ People who don’t feel like they fit in can identify with me. I promised myself when I was a little girl that I would never forget what it felt like to be a kid. I never wanted to grow up and be out of touch with what that feels like.”
On Her Mother
"I must give my mother credit for really inspiring and encouraging me to sing. She was an opera singer and went to Juilliard. She still sings and was a classically trained musician. I’m not a technical person, so I went the other way and got into R&B because I can just do whatever and sing whatever comes to mind. But she instilled the belief in me that I could become who I am today. She tells a story about when she was rehearsing a part of the opera Rigoletto, and I stopped her and said, ‘No, you made a mistake, it goes like this,’ and sang it back to her in another language at 4 years old. So my mother thought, 'Okay, she has an ear.'”
On Getting Older
"I’m eternally 12. And that 12-year-old inside me is an eternal optimist. I know what it feels like not to have fame or money, and I do still feel like that same person in many ways. Honestly, I don’t even have birthdays. I call them ‘anniversaries.’ It really is about being as young as you feel. Some people convince themselves they’re old, or they think, ‘I have to grow up now; I can’t have fun.’ I will still always choose a day at Disney World over a night in Las Vegas, because that’s who I am. "
On Her “Breakdown”
“How do you climb back from the shambles when everybody counts you out? That can be a very difficult thing to come to terms with, especially when you’ve had so much success from such an early age. I have such faith in God that I really had to surrender everything and just know that I was going to be okay. That’s truly where I had to go to when it felt like the bottom. More than anything, it was learning to grow up and take care of myself. Not treat myself like the corporation wanted to treat me, but treat myself like a human being. I’ve faced my worst fears and come out of them okay. Everything is always going to be all right as long as I hang on to the person inside of me. "

The Oscar-winning director and screenwriter Paul Haggis is in talks to join the scriptwriting team on the new Terminator film, according to US reports. Haggis is increasingly being seen as a classy Mr Fixit in Hollywood after he rescued the James Bond franchise from critical purgatory with his screenplay for the series reboot, Casino Royale. And to prove just how serious she is, Thelma has been holding bake sales and $5 dollar-per-plate dinners at the Elk's Club for weeks to raise the money she'll need to make a run for the White House. She's even narrowed down a pair of campaign slogans -- "An Old Broad For A New Day" and "A Simple Mind For A Complex Time."In Mama for President, Thelma asks the questions you won't hear the candidates ask. Things like:-- Who in America should be tasered?
-- Why aren't our borders run like Disneyland?Mama's CabinetYet another advantage of voting for Mama -- voters will know who'll make up her Cabinet before she's elected.-- Attorney General - Nancy Grace
Why? Because she won't take any crap from anybody and she'll be easier to protect since her hair is bulletproof.-- Secretary of Defense - Martha Stewart
Why? Don't be fooled by the charm she projects from behind the apron. She's General Patton with a spatula.1 & 2FYI: Thelma Harper is a character from Mama's Family
Joss says: "The bag is catless. During the strike I started writing a musical intended as a limited internet series, 3 episodes of approximately 10 minutes each." He managed to get interest in the project, and this week, they started shooting. As Whedon describes it: "It's the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he's too shy to talk to." I'm getting flashbacks to The Venture Brothers and 40 Days and 40 Nights, but I don't care!
Just to make it even better -- NPH is Dr. Horrible, who I presume is the super-villain, Nathan Fillion is Captain Hammer (mean ol' superhero?), and Felicia Day is Penny. Day, by the way, was the young newbie slayer Vi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Now if only Joss could give us more, regular, moving media work.
Donatella ‘Startles’ Herself in the Mirror
Donatella Versace was awfully press shy at last night's party at Barneys to celebrate the store's launch of Versace menswear. But we slipped in between camera flashes to ask her about her new, face-masking fringe:
Tell me about your bangs.
I did it yesterday. I was bored with my look.
What made you want to change?
Sometimes you just need to change. Do something different.
Who cut them for you?
My hairdresser, Carlos Verdi. Do you like it?
Does it feel weird?
Yes. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and get startled.
Mariah Carey has three assistants. How many do you have?
Three. They run my agenda. —Jada Yuan
Fall Out Boy bassist (and Ashlee Simpson beau) Pete Wentz has revealed that he once was so "completely lost and out of control" he tried to take his own life.
Wentz, 28, says he had seen several doctors who gave him prescription drugs but things worsened around the time his band had finished recording their major label record a few years ago.
"I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and sat there and took a bunch of [anxiety drug] Ativan in a Best Buy parking lot," Wentz says in a video for MTV's college channel MTVU.
"And I called up my manager because I was, at that point, completely out of my head with Ativan. And I was talking to him and I was slurring my words, so he called my mom and my mom called me and she came and got me and we went to the hospital."
Wentz — who is promoting Jed Foundation's Half Of Us campaign (aimed at cutting student suicide rates) — says he decided to tell his story to help encourage young people seek out professional help.
"It's not really about keeping your head above water, it's about feeling all right and feeling safe in your own skin," Wentz says. "It's not about keeping your head above water and barely keep going."
If the fate of humanity rested on you and one of these women who would it be – Britney Spears, Lauryn Hill or Amy Winehouse?
I’d probably take Lauryn Hill. I’d feel like Amy Winehouse would do a line of coke off my back and Britney…I just can’t go there right now.
Plus singer pays tribute to Bob Mould in new blog
Ryan Adams has launched a new website and blog to chart his experiences while writing new material.
The new website is dradamsfilms.com/ - referring to his full name David Ryan Adams – although the blog is called "Totally Bored The Musical".
So far Adams has revealed that he has avoided too much writing thanks to a bout of "spring cleaning which lasted for exactly a week, give or a take a week". He also shared with readers his plans to write a "a fictional blog, by someone who maybe loves metal but totally misunderstands the style and content of metal completely. I mean, in the best way".
Also on the site, Adams has paid tribute to Bob Mould's last album 'District Line', declaring: "This record and this brave man and his words saved me, again. It is endless and I listen to this at least three times a day. I have to say it is my favourite Husker/Sugar/solo record of his."
As for his own album Adams revealed: "I have to write this record. I mean, this is the second draft. By second draft I mean, this is a whole new batch of tunes. The last batch was fine and maybe even some of it was rad. But my head did not catch on fire. At least not totally. I am sure I burnt more than a few by accident but all that house dust acted as a wonderful repellent. So anyway, off to work I go."
Serge is trying to get the Leicester lads to frizz it up
Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno is attempting to persuade his bandmates to sport perm hairstyles.
According to The Sun, Pizzorno’s idea is based on a desire to emulate the famous hairstyle of legendary Columbian goalkeeper Rene Higuita, famous for his scorpion kick against England in 1995.
Pizzorno has apparently explained that the link between his band and Higuita is that their new album “sounds like a scorpion kick”.
Former porn star Jenna Jameson and her Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) wrestler boyfriend Tito Ortiz are set to raise the dead in a new movie project called "Zombie Strippers."
The couple will team up with A Nightmare On Elm Street star Robert Englund for the Jay Lee film about an underground Nebraska strip club hit by a deadly virus that reanimates the dead.
Jameson plays one of the strippers infected, who turns into a supernatural, flesh-eating zombie - the hit of the club.

Dude, it’s hard to walk in heels down a catwalk — no, I’m not speaking from personal experience! Just attend enough fashion shows and you’re bound to see a model or two eat it (the floor, not the food), but not only is it rare to see a celebrity strutter take a fall, it’s also sad when that star in question is the brilliant Catherine O’Hara.
Unfortch, that’s exactly what happened to the Best in Show star at Toronto Fashion Week during yesterday’s Heart Truth Red Dress fashion show. But the classy comedienne, 54, not only accentuated the fall by splaying herself across the runway, she dusted herself off, stood up and finished the job! Good job, Cookie!
Former Dancing with the Stars partners Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are denying tabloid reports that the pair were doing more than just dancing.
A report claiming the pair had an affair are "completely false and cannot be further from the truth," a rep for Lachey tells PEOPLE. A rep for Burke adds, "The story that Cheryl is involved with Drew Lachey started two years ago when they were partners on Dancing with the Stars. It wasn't true then and it isn't true now."
A source close to the show also called the report "untrue and irresponsible."
I didn't believe it.
Entertainment Weekly was becoming just insignificant enough that they now are scoring more and more exclusives and the latest one is the first look at Benicio del Toro in his full on wolf garb for the upcoming remake The Wolf Man set for release February 13, 2009. Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving co-star.
Del Toro plays a man who returns from America to his ancestral homeland, gets bitten by a werewolf and begins a hairy moonlight existence. Screenwriter, Andrew Kevin Walker, spent several months working on some frightening new twists to a familiar tale, adding several characters and plot points that take advantage of cutting-edge visual effects technology.

Broadway star and season six Dancing with the Stars contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur, 35, and her husband, King of the Hill writer Judah Miller, are expecting their first child, the actress tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The former Hairspray star, who survived cervical cancer seven years ago, says a surrogate mother is carrying the baby. The pregnancy is five months along.
"[The year] 2008 is beginning to be the best year of my life," Winokur gushes. While being cast on Dancing's sixth season made the actress ecstatic, the real excitement is her impending motherhood.
"I don't care if I win or lose Dancing with the Stars because I know when the show is over I will have the best prize – a baby," Winokur says. "After cancer I never thought I’d have a baby. This is truly the best time of my life."

“Oh, no, I wasn’t one of those Made in Britain types. I was more . . . individual. I was a Bowie obsessive.”
“I used to dye my hair all sorts of different colours,” he says. “Once, I had the total Aladdin Sane album cover look. A friend of mine reminded me what I looked like when I first went to Rada; how I bowled in wearing an old mac, my hair dyed all sorts of colours. I had just spent two years on the dole in Coventry, but I was an arrogant little shit.”
“I am a Giorgio Armani nut,” he admits. “I have no arrangement with them, other than I really love their clothes and they look after me. Even before I had any money, I was the kind of guy who would blow whatever I had on Armani clothes. Now they send me stuff for free.”
On catching the interviewer preening in the bathroom mirror: “You carry on,” he says, squeezing past and shutting the loo door. “I’ll try to be as quiet as possible, shall I?”
LOL at picturing a young dashing Clive with multicolored Bowie hair. And srsly, if it were me in that bathroom, I'd die of embarrassment and then offer a helping hand.
"There are some things I keep sacred. My middle name. Who I sleep with. The New York Times looks at the nation's top two figure skaters, Evan Lysacek and Johnny Weir, and their very different styles (athleticism vs
artistry). It's not long before discussion, or non-discussion as the case may be, of Weir's sexuality creeps into the article, and its author tries to get it out of him. But Weir does not relent:
The paper notes: "Weir was referring to the United States Figure Skating Association, which is based in Colorado Springs. He has claimed the federation has promoted Lysacek over him as a subtle form of punishment for his behavior."
I fucking love him. And artistically Johnny >>>>>>> Evan Lysacek
In 1999, Carnie Wilson famously underwent gastric bypass surgery to cut 150 lbs. off her 300-lb. frame. Her struggle with her weight wasn't over, though, as she gained back the pounds carrying daughter Lola, now 2. But after a stint on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, Carnie shed another 22 lbs. That was two years ago. Now, a month away from her 40th birthday, Carnie weighs 208 lbs. and wears a size 16. Opening up to OK!, the singer says she has hit "rock bottom" with her weight.
"Everyone can see that I'm bigger, but I cannot hibernate," she tells OK!. "I've never lied or been dishonest about what's going on in my life. Even all these years later, having had such a great weight-loss story, being back in this place is so familiar. And it hurts. I don't want to feel this way anymore. It doesn't feel good when you have to struggle to get your pants on."
The source of her tremendous weight gain is snacking. Since having her daughter, the former Wilson Phillips star says she turned all her focus on her little girl, leaving little to no attention to her weight or diet.
"I had anxiety, started snacking and gained it all back and more," she says. "I have a weakness when it comes to snacking. For me, it's a tortilla with cheese, popcorn and graham crackers, all in one night."
Now Carnie is determined to get back into shape -- and get pregnant.
"I'd like to lose 45 to 50 pounds and then try to get pregnant again. I know I will do it! I don't consider myself a failure. I just got off track."
For more on Carnie, check out the latest issue of OK!, on newsstands Thursday!
Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will perform a concert at the Rose Hall in Manhattan in April.
The April 14 concert — featuring songs from Menzel's latest solo recording, "I Stand" — will be recorded for future broadcast on PBS. An air date has yet to be announced.
Although tickets will not be available to the general public, a few will be given away via Menzel's official website, www.idinamenzel.com.
As previously announced, Menzel will launch a limited concert tour April 1 at the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, NJ. The singing actress will also play April 3 at the Barrington Stage in Pittsfield, MA; April 5 at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck, NY; April 6 and 8 at Stage One in Fairfield, CT; and April 10 and 11 at The Baby Grand in Wilmington, DE.
Idina Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked; she also opened the London production of that hit musical. Menzel created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, the Manhattan Theatre Club The Wild Party, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's film credits include "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
Menzel will join Josh Groban, Adam Pascal and Kerry Ellis for concert performances of Chess May 12 and 13 at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Say what you will about her, but I think Idina is ~stunning~ and very talented. I love when PBS shows concerts and such like this, too. I'm excited. :]

David Archuleta's dad, Jeff, is a piece of work.
Sources close to "Star Search" tell TMZ that when David was a contestant back in the day, Jeff's behavior was so bad, he was eventually barred from the lot! The guards actually had a picture of Jeff's mug hanging in the guard shack in case he tried sneaking in.
We're also told the father of the year harassed Tiffany Evans, his "Star Search" rival, lurking outside her practices, even trying to coerce her into to drinking milk before a show to ruin her voice. She didn't listen (obviously) and went on to win.
Sources also tell us Daddy Dearest sometimes screamed at his son and has withheld water during rehearsals, even bringing his son to tears.
As far as "Idol" goes, we hear papa's wrath is still in full blossom. That might explain why Jeff, who normally sits in the audience, was replaced by other family members last week.
Who do you want to see go home tonight?
Adele Inks U.S. Deal With Columbia
Columbia Records will give hot British newcomer Adele's debut set "19" a summer Stateside release, through a joint venture struck with XL Recordings.
British critics and record buyers adore Adele in equal amounts, and she can count producer-of-the-moment Mark Ronson among her fans and collaborators.
The teenaged Londoner has enjoyed a dream career start, with a Brit Award -- the new Critics' Choice honor -- and a debut No. 1 U.K. album to her name with "19", which topped the chart earlier this year. Her first full single, "Chasing Pavements," peaked at No. 2 in the U.K.
XL CEO Richard Russell, who signed the artist worldwide, is confident her jazz and soul-drenched music will touch the right note in the U.S. "She wants to work it properly, and put in time there," he tells Billboard. "People are really excited about her over there."
Ross Zooms By 'NOW,' Snoop To Debut At No. 1
Miami rapper Rick Ross scores his second straight chart-topper on The Billboard 200 as "Trilla" (Slip-N-Slide/Def Jam) debuts at No. 1. The set sold 198,000 units in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, an improvement over the 187,000 copies shifted by 2006's No. 1, "Port of Miami."
The multi-label "NOW 27" compilation is new at No. 2 with 169,000, the lowest opening week for a regular "NOW" album since the first edition bowed in 1998 with 48,000. Of the 27 installments of the regular "NOW" line, all but four have debuted with more than 200,000.
Snoop Dogg's "Ego Trippin'" (Geffen) debuts at No. 3 with 137,000, fueled by the top 10 Hot 100 success of the single "Sensual Seduction." However, this is the lowest first-week sales total for any of the veteran rapper's studio albums.
Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through the Static" (Brushfire/Universal) slips 2-4 with 55,000 (-14.6%), while Alan Jackson's "Good Time" (Arista Nashville), which topped the chart last week, plummets 55.4% to No. 5 with 53,000.
New at No. 6 is rapper Fat Joe's "The Elephant in the Room" (Imperial), which sold 46,000 copies. Sara Bareilles' "Little Voice" (Epic) holds at No. 7 in its 24th chart week, with sales of just over 40,000 units, a 2.3% uptick. Janet Jackson's "Discipline" slips 3-8 in its third frame on a 34.5% decline to 38,000.
Just below at No. 11, the "NOW That's What I Call 80's" compilation lands with about 400 copies short of the Cyrus album. "NOW 80's" was also available in an 80-track edition exclusive to Apple's iTunes Store. The latter is charting separately and its sales are not counted in the 20-track version's tally.
The only other debut in the top 50 comes from "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson's "Randy Jackson's Music Club: Vol. 1" at No. 50. The set, released on his own Dream Merchant 21 imprint through Concord, sold 13,000 copies. Its first single, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," features fellow "Idol" judge Paula Abdul.
The Columbia soundtrack to the film "August Rush" re-enters the chart at No. 55 with 12,000 copies sold this week. The movie's "Raise It Up" was recently nominated for a best original song Oscar. Metal outfit Meshuggah arrives on the chart at No. 59 with "Obzen" (Nuclear Blast) which sold 11,000 copies.
Album sales this week are up 3.4% over the prior week to 7.94 million, but down 6.6% over the same week in 2007.

Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, is proud to confirm the main cast for its live-action Street Fighter movie based on the hugely popular video game series.
The story revolves around fan-favorite Chun-Li, who will be portrayed by actress Kristin Kreuk (of Smallville fame). Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, and Taboo of Black Eyed Peas are also on board to round out this all-star cast. The film will be made in conjunction with Hyde Park Films, and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox for a scheduled 2009 worldwide release.
The Street Fighter movie is only one of many projects Capcom has planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Street Fighter. Summer 2008 will see the Japanese arcade release of the much-anticipated Street Fighter IV.
Street Fighter was first released in 1987 to critical acclaim for its innovative features. This was followed up in 1991 with the smash hit Street Fighter II, which broke records by being available in 500 thousand arcade cabinets and selling over 25 million units on home systems. These records cemented Street Fighter’s reputation as one of the most popular fighting game series of all time and ensured that the fighting genre would become a staple of the gaming world.
Symone's 56-city "Pajama Party" arena tour is set to kick off April 26 in Orlando, FL, and make its way from the East Coast to the West Coast through mid-July. Concertgoers are encouraged to wear their PJs and arrive early for a slumber party leading up to the singer's performance on a stage designed to replicate her own house.
Fellow Disney star Mitchel Musso, known for his role as Oliver on the show "Hannah Montana," will open the tour, performing original R&B/hip-hop songs from his own forthcoming album. Artists B5 and Clique Girlz will also have a turn on stage. The full itinerary is listed below.
The outing comes on the heels of Symone's latest film project, Disney's "College Road Trip," which recently debuted at No. 1 at the box office. The young entrepreneur executive-produced the flick, which co-stars Martin Lawrence.
One of the songs featured in the film, a remake of '80s party jam "Double Dutch Bus," is the lead single from Symone's new self-titled album, which is scheduled to drop April 29. The video for the song is streaming at her website.
Symone, who shot to fame as the precocious three-year-old Olivia on "The Cosby Show," keeps a loyal following of teens and tweens through her music and her starring role on "That's So Raven," which is the Disney Channel's longest-running series, according to a press release. The television show, which Symone produced, has earned numerous honors, including two NAACP Image Awards, two Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards and a primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program.
The British-born comic and actress, who's been a United States citizen for a year-and-a-half, gives her unique take on life in the U.S., impersonating one celeb after another, including males, in zapping America's celebrity-obsessed, 24-hour news culture.
Targets for her barbs include the likes Cameron Diaz, Renée Zellweger, Dina Lohan, Tony Sirico and David Beckham, as well as politicians and pundits such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Arianna Huffington.
The show also has a lineup of original characters reflecting a cross-section of American society as Ullman sees it, from an Indian pharmacist, to a homeless woman without health insurance, to a soldier on temporary leave from Iraq.
Asked on The Early Show Tuesday by Russ Mitchell how she goes seamlessly and flawlessly from one character to another, Ullman replied, simply, that she's a "happy schizophrenic!"
Ullman is perhaps best-known in the U.S. for her series, "The Tracey Ullman Show," which aired on Fox from 1987-1990. It earned multiple Emmys, and is credited with spawning "The Simpsons."
NEW YORK - Matt Lauer must have really thick skin.
The "Today" show co-anchor will be the center of attention — and the target of insults and general humiliation — at a Friars Club celebrity roast Oct. 24. Things could get ugly: The Roastmaster is Lauer's longtime colleague and friend Al Roker, who knows him as well as anyone.
Do NOT try this at home. Or do, and then tell us how it worked out for you. Vanessa Williams has admitted to a really strange way of getting rid of acne. By putting her own bodily fluids on it. And we're not talking about sweat here.
She says, "The weirdest thing I ever heard was to take morning urine and put it on your acne. I did it. I tried to do it."
"Morning urine." As opposed to afternoon? This is a little odd only because her testimonial for Proactiv Solution is so believable. Who knew that all this time we thought she was using the toner and refining masks to get rid of zits, when she was really using her own urine samples to battle acne.
In his Broadway Matinee column, Post writer Michael Riedel mentions that Burt Bacharach's musical romp Promises, Promises is heading to workshop for a possible return to Broadway. He then mentions that Will & Grace star Sean Hayes will be playing the romantic lead opposite Anne Hathaway, and questions whether Hayes is "virile" enough to pull off a role originated by Jerry Orbach, who could crush buildings with his bare thighs.
First off, are people excited about seeing a possible revival of this show? And notwithstanding the fact that Sean Hayes is apparently far too limp-wristed to even pick up a songbook, do we think he could stand up to the role? Or could Anne Hathaway, for that matter?
Honestly, if professionally gay straight actor Rogert Bart can turn in a horrifyingly hetero role in Hostel 2 after playing an assortment of swishy queens both on stage and on screen, I think perhaps Broadway audiences might be able to forget about Jack McFarlane long enough for Hayes to do his job, don't you? Or do you agree that Hayes is miscast?
At the end of the show, just before the voting began, Ryan Seacrest threw to a tape with highlights from the contestants. Michael Johns actually seemed better than when he sang earlier in the show. Fact is, it was better, because producers used Johns performance from his rehearsal earlier in the day.
Interestingly, after Johns performed live on the air, Paula remarked that she heard Johns during rehearsal and he had been a lot better then. So voters were left with the impression Johns was better than he actually was.
Ditto David Archuleta the week before, when he forgot the lyrics to "We Can Work it Out." When "A.I." played the highlight tape at the end of the show, David was seen during his rehearsal, when he was much better.
"Idol" tells us the entire montage at the end of the show is of rehearsal footage -- they simply don't have the time to turn around that video using live performances.
Watch the video clips of the actual performances and the highlight tapes of Johns and Archuleta. What do you think -- ok or deceptive?
Barack Obama will appear on The View Friday, March 28 for the first time since becoming a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Obama's sit-down comes in the wake of his much-lauded speech on race in America, which he made following an uproar over inflammatory remarks made by his former paster, Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., that he has denounced.

Does Jimmy Kimmel Have a Problem with Gays?
March 18, 2008
What’s up with Jimmy Kimmel and gay people?
On one hand, the host of the late-night ABC talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live has treated his many gay guests with respect. And since 2002, he has been dating comedian Sarah Silverman, known for her strongly pro-gay views (even telling the Advocate that she doesn’t want to get married until gay people can).
But on the other hand, Kimmel, who declined to be interviewed for this article, has frequently found himself accused of saying or doing gay-offensive things, or at the very least being insensitive toward gays and gay issues.
In February 2007, when Rebecca Romijn was on the show to discuss Alexis, her transgendered Ugly Betty character, Kimmel delivered a series of jaw-droppingly offensive jokes about how a male-to-female transgendered person could never look as feminine or as attractive as Romijn. When reading from a personalized romance novel that Romijn gave to then-fiancé Jerry O’Connell, Kimmel ad-libbed, “and then [Jerry] finds out you have a penis and hits you with an ax.” (The show’s “producers” later issued a letter of apology, but it was not specifically signed by Kimmel.)
I dunno, a lot of the stuff they're complaining about isn't much worse than the seemingly harmless jokes on the rest of the late night shows, but the transgendered thing with the axe really pissed me off.
Adrianne Curry attended the launch party for Tori Spellings memoir “sTORI Telling” wearing a loose fitting dress and scarf hiding her belly. When a photographer asked aloud “Is she pregnant?” Adrianne quickly ran off the red carpet with a smile on her face.
What do you think, is there another ‘Brady’ on the way or is this just a publicity stunt?
Please do not bring a baby into that seriously fucked up relationship.
According to the tabloid, Allen has been living with Furze for the past month, after splitting from The Chemical Brothers' Ed Simons.
Furze is the singer and guitarist in the band The Big Pink and has been collaborating with UNKLE.
The newspaper quotes an anonymous source as saying: “She (Allen) has known Robbie for years and he was there when things went wrong with Ed. She moved in with him a few weeks ago and they have been sharing a bed. It started off innocently but they are doing more then cuddling now.”

It happened at Mel's Agoura Hills home -- near Malibu. The construction worker was 48-years-old. We're told he hanged himself. The body was found by the job site foreman.
The Sheriff's substation in Lost Hills took the call at 8:07 AM -- that's the same station where Mel was taken after his DUI arrest in 2006.
Mel was not at the house when the body was discovered. A law enforcement source says no one from Gibson's family was living at the house -- it is currently under heavy construction.
The house is less than a mile from his church -- The Holy Family Catholic Church -- where Mel's daughter was married back in September, 2006.
Mel has never lived on the compound.
UPDATE: Law enforcement sources say the body was found hanging in the addition to the home that was being built and was in "full-body rigor mortis" and the hanging could have occurred last night.

The video is something Cyrus did in the studio on iMovie. Steve put the video up so that all the kids who spent the time to send in pictures could maybe see themselves and know that the song was inspired by them.
Who got eliminated tonight on
One would never think to call David and Victoria Beckham eggheads... until now.
The power couple have entered a new category of marketability — forget T-shirts and dolls, their likenesses have been captured on Easter eggs!
British chocolatier Thornton and Id-Iom (a London design team known mostly for their graffiti-style artwork) partnered in creating the Celebrity Egg Heads to auction off as a fund-raiser for the children's charity Barnado's.
Other faces stenciled in sugar and chocolate and poached for the eBay auction, include Lily Allen, Prince Harry and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
While the Easter egg is a gentler piece of holiday paraphernalia, we can't help but think the Beckhams look like sexy-yet-dangerous outlaws ripped from a wanted poster. True, monies raised will support kids' causes, but Jellybean Clooney still takes tops in the whimsy department.
Michelle Trachtenberg has snagged a multiepisode arc on the CW's buzzworthy freshman drama "Gossip Girl."
Trachtenberg will play Georgina Sparks, a character who appears in the novels on which the series is based. Georgina rolls into Manhattan from rehab, shaking up and torturing the life of Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively).
Mischa Barton was rumored to have been up for the role.
The arc will air for the May sweep.
Trachtenberg, repped by CAA and Framework, recently wrapped the New Line comedy "Seventeen Again," in which she stars opposite Zac Efron. She next appears alongside Topher Grace and Anna Faris in Universal/Imagine's ensemble comedy "Kids in America."
THR.com will have complete coverage of the "Gossip Girl" panel at the Paley Festival March 22. Click here for full festival coverage.
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has blasted critics of Catherine Tate's performance as companion Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special.
He commented to SFX magazine on the negative reactions to Tate's role in 'The Runaway Bride': "It was vitriolic. What are you going to do, cast someone according to what message boards are going to say? I think the great danger is that the writing of a drama becomes a public debate."

Also, there are reports about the Christmas special, which is due to start shooting next month.

From some blog:
I’ve been sitting on this story for various reasons… One, I wanted to make sure that there wouldn’t be drama associated with it. Two, the tragic news of Heath Ledger’s passing really was at the forefront. Didn’t seem right to post around that time. Here we go though:
ArcLight Cinemas is definitely different. It isn’t just a movie theatre, it’s an experience. Surely there will be pundits out there, but it really is. One of the things that sets ArcLight apart is the “no late seating” policy detailed here: About ArcLight. Ok, now that the stage is set… There was a celebrity who came in earlier this week. I won’t divulge her name, but you may remember something about saving the cheerleader and saving the world. She came to watch a movie. She was with her mom and a friend. So far so good. Said cheerleader seems to like the limelight as she was at the snack bar for an extended period of time. During this time she was approached by what were obviously fans. Again, all normal so I went about my business.
Eventually I get a call asking me to come meet one of the managers. Let’s call her, X. X knew that the cheerleader was in. She was actually the one who pointed her out to me ’cause she knew I’d get a kick out of it. X goes on to tell me that the cheerleader went off and that she wasn’t very happy about it. That wasn’t what was said, but you get the gist of it. X goes on to explain that the cheerleader had a friend come in 1/2 hour after the movie started and expected that this friend was going to be let in. Here’s where the “no late seating” policy comes into play. The cheerleader’s friend was DENIED. Cheerleader comes out after being summoned I’m sure (another ArcLight no-no ’cause unless the cheerleader has psychic abilities, she was using her phone in the auditorium). X explains why the friend can’t come in. Cheerleader is getting heated because she just doesn’t agree and doesn’t understand. Eventually the cheerleader goes so far as to drop F bombs! She said something to the effect of “F**K the policy” while flipping two birds in the general direction of X. Unacceptable! Shame on you, cheerleader. Shame on you.
Cheerleader mommy was not present for this exchange. I’m sure if she was, she would have told the cheerleader to calm down. I mean, she’s a pretty big celebrity. You don’t want someone to, I don’t know, write a blog about you being a bitchy diva. That’s never good press (ok, this blog isn’t the Times or Entertainment Weekly or even perezhilton.com, but people are going to see this). Eventually the cheerleader fetches the mom, gets a refund, and leaves.
I have to say that I really was a big fan of the cheerleader. She’s super cute, she’s on one of my favorite shows, and she (until this point) seemed super cool. It’s a bit of a let down to be honest. At any rate, let this be a cautionary tale to all of you in the LA area. If you come to ArcLight (Hollywood or Sherman Oaks), don’t be surprised when you come late for your movie that you are turned away. The cheerleader’s a big deal in this town and she was shot down in a blaze of glory. Don’t think it’ll be different for you. I know that sounds a bit negative, but this policy and other things are what set ArcLight apart and really make it different. If you think that it’s just an overpriced ticket and there is no difference, ask any one of our over 160,000 fiercely loyal members. :)

What did you think of the results?
Drillbit Taylor is, sorry to say, a stiff. This is surprising given that Judd Apatow produced and the great Seth Rogen co-wrote it. (The fact that Little Nicky's Stephen Brill directed means nothing either way.) I wasn't so much bummed by it as, like, deflated. It's tedious. And almost never funny. And dull. And I'm trying to be even-toned here.
It's the usually amusing and resourceful Owen Wilson, a guy I almost always enjoy to some degree, spinning his wheels with some really weak material about a pathetic loser acting like one and doing little else until the very end. It's a really good film to take breaks from. Hit the head, make phone calls, do squat thrusts in the lobby, flirt with the candy girl.
On top of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, another Apatow comedy that I've yet to review but which I felt kind of badly about, this is probably the beginning of a temporary downgrade in the brand. It'll be restored in August with Pineapple Express, and it may be turn out that Marshall will do okay commercially. But the notion of the Apatow seal being some kind of dependable assurance of a rollicking good time is, for now, out the window.
Drillbit Taylor is about three high-school nerds -- Nate Hartley (smart, bespectacled, rail-thin)), Troy Gentile (obese, smart) and David Dorfman (tiny, dorky, braces) -- who hire a full-of-shit homeless guy (Wilson) to protect them from a couple of psychotic bullies who humiliate and beat up on them all the time. My knee was vibrating like a jackhammmer ten minutes after it began.
The two thugs (Alex Frost, Josh Peck) are awful in every sense. They've been written without a hint of humanity or dimension. They're just assholes -- sadistic thugs who make life miserable for the nerd guys (and the audience) because...no clue, no nothin'. I felt like I was sitting though a Crown International youth comedy from the '80s. I just sat there thinking about my life and stuff I had to do when I left the theatre. I realized that I'd lost my wallet on the way over. I thought about which files I need to put on my external hard drive.
Wilson's unsshaven jerkoff has no redeeming characteristics at all, and there's no escape. He can't even fight. He puts the kids through a kind of boot-camp training and promises to bitch-slap the two sadists, but he shilly-shallies when push comes to shove. He's just interested in the kids' money and agrees to a plan to steal stuff from their parents' homes with two loser-asshole friends.
You know going in that Wilson will have grow a conscience and do the right thing in Act Three. And that the bully dickheads will eventually be slapped down and taught a lesson. And that you'll come of this movie feeling really, really bad.Source:http://hollywood-elsewhere.com/2008/03/drillbit_slumbe.php

Last week, Ang Lee and James Schamus — the prolific pair behind such landmark independent films as Brokeback Mountain and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon — received the Freedom of Expression award at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas. The prize commemorated the fact that they made and distributed the China-set period thriller/romance Lust, Caution with an NC-17 rating last year. (Lee directed and produced the film and Schamus co-wrote and produced it; Schamus is also head of Focus Features, the studio behind Lust, Caution.) While that risk may not have reaped much in monetary rewards in the U.S. (the film grossed more than $60 million overseas but just $4.6 million domestically), many applauded the leap that Lee and Schamus took in embracing, rather than fleeing from, a rating that most in the movie industry consider to be restrictive for business and akin to a label of pornography.
EW.com sat down with the filmmakers to talk about their experiences with Lust, Caution and the NC-17 rating, as well as their thoughts on the upcoming remake of their 2003 collaboration Hulk and memories of Brokeback star Heath Ledger.

I thought Lust, Caution was pretty good. But more than that, I love that it has a 69% on Rotten Tomatoes. HAR!
Oh.... my... lord... this has got to be the single worst clip in the history of clips. Inside you'll find your first look at Sony Screen Gems' Prom Night remake, which features one of the crappiest fake scares since the ice machine in When a Stranger Calls. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible…the man she thought was gone forever. just LOL. why would you even remake a movie like this? the original is super lulzy but it's an 80's movie so it's allowed to be >:O
Up to this point, we've gotten a slew of casting notices about Bella and the parade of vamps, but now MTV, which seems to be the official source for Twilight info, has confirmed that Billy Burke will be playing him. The actor has popped up in a ton of television shows, but he's also been in flicks like the recent Untraceable.
Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the film, confirmed his casting and said: "I've only met him once, and I don't really have any scenes with him yet. But I think he's a pretty good fit ... He's commented on making the character a strong character." Strong, weak, or anything in between, he's definitely a good fit to play the dad of Stewart. If you're a fangirl or boy itching for more info, in another post, Greene discusses her involvement in the film, from softball to complaints that's she's just too darned tall for her character.
And the other Ashley Greene post that they talk about:
what do you all think? to me, he's a bit too skeezy..

Worst decision in the history of reality tv!
I can't believe I'm so angry at MTV's dumb rules.
ET has a brand-new sneak peek at BRITNEY SPEARS on the set of "How I Met Your Mother." The pop princess plays a receptionist named Abby at Ted's (JOSH RADNOR) dermatologist's office. This marks her first acting gig since appearing on "Will & Grace" in 2006. Britney's episode of "HIMYM" airs Monday, March 24, on CBS.
Also guest-starring on the show is "Scrubs" doc SARAH CHALKE, playing Ted's new love interest. Sarah's appearance is a one-shot deal at this point in time, because she is still under contract to "Scrubs," so it remains to be seen if she could end up as the mother of his children.

A Conversation with Rashida Jones
Karen from The Office is Quincy's daughter, Maroon 5's backup singer, and the star of the racy new Farrelly brothers' show Unhitched
by Brantley Bardin
"I rode the same school bus as Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian," recalls Rashida Jones, dressed in post-Pilates sweats and scarfing a vegetarian feast at a West Hollywood tearoom. But unlike her classmates, Jones, 32, is known for more than partying, paparazzi, and porn. She plays piano and a little guitar, graduated from Harvard with a degree in comparative religion, and has sung on two of Maroon 5's hit albums. She also sits on the board of Peace Games, a charity that teaches kids to resolve conflicts non-violently. Not bad for a starlet, right? Considering her achievements, we're willing to forgive her for having the sexiest parents in Hollywood. Her dad is musician/philanthropist Quincy Jones and her mom is badass Mod Squad star and pop culture icon Peggy Lipton. "Who's cooler than her?" Jones wants to know.

Hopefully the code works this time, sorry mods! :)
Jermaine Jackson left the spray on face and hair at home and hit the streets with his sons. We can’t believe we’re about to say this, but they look a little normal. Look at Jermaine’s kicks…trying stunt a lil bit for the kids.
The lady is Jermaine's partner, her name is Halima. The little boy is Jermaine's youngest son, Jermajesty. The taller kid is his other son, Jafar.
Their mother is Alejandre Jackson who is also the mother of the children of Jermaine's brother, Randy!

It's always good to see Stevie at ontd, isn't it? And Lilly is the cutest. I actually thought it was Lexie, but I suppose Lilly's grown up a lot since then...does anyone (who cares, haha) know why Lexie isn't out much? Is it because she had a few health scares when she was younger?
Anyway, she's like, the cutest football kid. Although I want to see how Xabi Alonos's kid, Jon, looks like. Because if your parents look like this, you're pretty much golden
There are more pics at keystone press, but you need to be part of a company to be able to access them. I only saw the thumbnails, but now I can't see them anymore.
ps: i don't know how the hell i forgot to add his name there. O__O
