While shooting Goyas Ghosts, the Milos Forman film about the Spanish Inquisition that opens July 20, porcelain doll Natalie Portman made her costar, Javier Bardem, feel like an ass—in a good way.
"I guess she was very young when she became famous, but her mind is perfectly structured. She's so intelligent it's scary. When I was talking to her, I didn't know what to talk about because she knows a lot of things," Bardem told Radar in New York yesterday at a press event for the film. "I felt like a donkey."
When a reporter asked Bardem if it was Natalie Portman's buttocks he gropes in the movie or those of a body double, Bardem replied, "I don't remember." Pressed, he dodged. "I can't answer that. She's the one who has to answer that."
Beyoncé was a star at Tuesday's BET Awards (pictured), taking home two of the six prizes for which she was nominated, including R&B artist of the year and best video for the Ne-Yo-penned "bad all by myself" anthem "Irreplaceable." And yet, I'm in no hurry to congratulate her.
Seeing that this was becoming a pattern of mine, I was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with me. Am I a "hater?" I'll agree that B's got talent, but I've decided that I must get this off of my chest:
I am so over Beyoncé.
And I'm in good company: Popera artist Rufus Wainwright recently told Spin magazine that he was "sick" of the R&B/pop singer.
I used to be a big Beyoncé fan. In middle school I performed an anti-drug parody of Destiny's Child's "No, No, No" in front of my social studies class. I memorized the lyrics to most of the songs on the group's sophomore album, The Writing's on the Wall. I was there through the first and second Destiny's Child lineup, and when B had the nerve to unveil a third lineup, did I scoff and run away? No. They were survivors and I loved them, especially Beyoncé.
And then she went solo. It was glorious. I belted out "Crazy in Love" while copying B's runway walk in my dorm room. I wasn't mad that she recycled Destiny Child's "Dangerously in Love" or that she (and I think Kelly Rowland) said some variation of "I love you" some 27 times in the last 45 seconds of the song alone. And I overlooked that creepy ode-to-Daddy track, in which she croons "I want my unborn son to be like my daddy."
But last summer, something started to change. I loved "Deja Vu," the first single off of B'Day, though most people didn't; EW reviewer Jody Rosen called it "oddly flat." Still, beyond that funky, bass-filled track, B'Day was a big disappointment to me. And I realized that somewhere between being Bootylicious! and a whole lotta woman, Beyoncé had become larger than life. I couldn't go anywhere without hearing "to the left, to the left," or without one of my friends posting Facebook pictures of themselves in "freakum dresses."
It was then that I decided to lay off of the Beyoncé for a while. It wasn't that I thought I had a problem or anything. But it would give me time to enjoy other songstresses. She almost pulled me back with "Beautiful Liar" (that whole Shakira/Beyoncé twin thing in the video was manipulative!), but then she went and did like 10 different versions, including one with herself.
And therein lies the problem, PopWatchers. It doesn't matter what Rufus or I think. The only person that truly needs to get over Beyoncé is... Beyoncé
What do you think? Am I right? Or do I need to get over myself?
X17 caught up with Lynne Spears on Saturday and asked her about the troubles she's been having with her daughter, amid reports that Britney is on the verge of serving her mom with a restraining order to keep her mother away from Sean and Jayden. Lynne tells out videographer simply, "I love my daughter."

However, when asked if she would be leaving Los Angeles to attend the gathering, Britney told People magazine yesterday (01.07.07): "I don't know. I like it here."
When quizzed further about whether she and her mother would be able to overcome their differences, the 25-year-old star added: "I'm praying for her right now. I hope she gets all the help she needs. In time, who knows what will happen?"
Britney was speaking outside Bel Air's Sushi House Unico, where she had dined alone on edamame beans and coffee.
Lynne - who last week looked distressed when her estranged daughter personally handed her what were believed to be legal papers - said: "Everything is going to be fine.
"I've got a strong family, and everything is going to be OK."
She also admitted she was "hopeful" Britney would bring her sons, 22-month old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James, to the Fourth of July party.
But an inside source claims Lynne is devastated about the state of her relationship with her eldest daughter.
The source said: "Lynne has cried her heart out over the trouble between her and Britney.
"She is broken-hearted. She wants her baby to be OK and to bring her grandchildren home to Kentwood and raise them in a normal environment."
Looks like Britters is smart AFTER ALL!

Sad news for fans of the Marshall Tucker Band. Founding member and rhythm guitarist George McCorkle, diagnosed with cancer early in June, died Friday morning in Nashville. He was 60.
McCorkle co-founded the pioneering country-rock band in 1971 in Spartanburg, S.C., and penned its first top 40 hit, Fire on the Mountain. He wrote or co-wrote other signature tunes, including Silverado, Life in a Song, Last of the Singing Cowboys, Dreamlover and Foolish Dreaming.
Though he retired in 1984 and became a fulltime songwriter in Nashville, he returned to performing with the Renegades of Southern Rock and appeared with the Marshall Tucker Band before 17,000 fans last August in Nashville. He wrote three songs on the band’s newly released The Next Adventure CD; he also played on MTB’s Carolina Christmas CD (2005), for which he wrote the track Leave the Christmas Lights On.
The Marshall Tucker Band had a successful run in the 1970s, peaking with 1977 hit single Heard It in a Love Song from album Carolina Dreams. Bassist Tommy Caldwell died in a car crash in 1980, brother Toy Caldwell (who died in 1993) departed for a solo career soon after, and the original lineup dissolved by 1983. Since then, various configurations have toured and recorded, serving up mostly country fare. McCorkle is survived by his wife, Vivian, and son, Justin.
Britney was hounded by the paparazzi in Bel Aire... again. They ask her about her love life, and I told her not to tell anybody about us... so phew! She does talk about her mom as People.com reported saying: "I'm praying for her right now. [I hope] she gets all the help she needs." I am pretty sure she didn't know what the paparazzo was referring to when asking Britney if she was going to Kentwood. I think Britney had no idea that her family was heading on down there to celebrate the 4th. Makes me sad. She'll work through this, always does.

With Paris Hilton off the mainland, photogs went wild for her sister Nicky last night -- and she was not too happy about it.
TMZ cameras spotted Nicky outside Il Sole on Sunday, where cameras surrounded her and bombarded the celebusister with questions about her ex-con sis.
Nick was quiet and did her best to keep away from photogs, but let out an "oh my God" when someone asked her what she though about "fake Paris" Natalie Reid -- guess she's not a fan!
For his next trick, Criss Angel will attempt to explain away an alleged affair with Cameron Diaz.
In retrospect, it probably would've been easier to stick with the straightjackets.
As it is, the Mindfreaker's estranged wife is accusing the goth illusionist of mental cruelty, abandonment and carrying on a relationship with the A-list actress in a divorce filing.
At a court hearing in New York Friday, a lawyer for Angel's estranged missus, Joanne Sarantakos (Angel's real name is Christopher Sarantakos), said that he planned on making sure Diaz didn't pull a disappearing act from the proceedings.
"We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover," Dominic Barbara said in Nassau County Court. "We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."
The maybe-duo was first spotted hanging out together in Las Vegas in May, with Angel fueling speculation of a hookup by telling People that "Cam is an amazing person."
While Diaz and Angel have been photographed numerous times together since then, neither has elaborated on the nature of their suddenly close relationship, outside of Angel descibing them as nothing more than "good friends."
Then again, Diaz was the only one of his "good friends" that Angel name-checked last month during his high-profile escape from a box hanging above Times Square.
"I'd like to dedicate this to my girl Trouble, aka Cameron. I love you, baby," he said prior to the June 5 stunt.
Afterwards, Angel attempted to qualify the remark, telling People he "just said that because everyone was hounding me about it and at the end of the day I got it out there, so my professional life is there, my personal life is here."
Well, that explains it.

ROBBIE Williams has given £1.5million to help disadvantaged groups in his home city.
The troubled singer donated the cash to the Give it Sum charity which he set up with Comic Relief.
Among the groups to benefit will be young people with drug and alcohol problems in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs.
Robbie, 33, who has battled drug addiction, said: "I'm glad the little help I give can raise the profile of things like this."
He added: "I want to be more active in and around Stoke-on-Trent - the place I love and where I'll eventually return to."
Robbie, who lives in LA has given a total of £3million to the charity. He raised cash by selling platinum discs and hand-written lyrics, including hit Angels, which got £27,000.
July 1, 2007 -- ALL eyes will be on Prince William and his girlfriend, Kate Middleton, at the Concert for Diana in London today when they step out together for the first time since their dramatic reunion last month - but it turns out their "split" may actually have been a carefully planned royal hoax.
Veteran royal-watcher Christopher Andersen tells Page Six that Wills and Kate never actually broke up in the first place. Andersen, author of "After Diana: William, Harry, Charles and the Royal House of Windsor," said he phoned their friends after the prince purportedly called it quits with his honey, who works as a fashion-accessories buyer, in April, and "almost no one I spoke with really believed it."
Pointing out that Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth "both love Kate," Andersen said that prior to the purported split, "everyone was expecting an imminent announcement that they were getting engaged and then boom - it was supposedly all off. Everyone was in total shock."
So what happened? "Their closest friends believe it was all a ruse to get Britain's voracious tabloid press off Kate's back," Andersen dishes. "William has had recurring nightmares that Kate would meet the same fate [as his mom, Princess Diana], literally chased to her death by paparazzi."
So, the author claims, Wills suggested "that they simply make it look as if the romance was completely over. The strategy worked, even though they were in almost constant touch via phone, e-mail and text-messaging ever since." They've also secretly met, necking at Wills' army barracks. "Everyone is rooting for Kate because no one wants to see William make the same mistake Charles made and pass up marrying the woman he fell in love with in the first place," Andersen said.
He added Wills' royal handlers will have their hands full at today's big bash, which will feature such performers as Elton John, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, Lily Allen and Kanye West.
It'll be especially intense at an all-night after-party, where they worry things could get out of hand as the booze flows. No doubt, the paparazzi will be standing guard to try to get shots of tipsy revelers as they make their way home.

NEW YORK -- The wife of Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez reportedly wore a white tank top with foul language on the back when she attended a game against the Oakland Athletics, the New York post reported in Monday's editions.
A common two-word obscenity ending with "you" was clearly visible when Cynthia Rodriguez, her 2-year-old daughter and an unidentified older woman took their seats Sunday in the players' family section at Yankee Stadium.
A front-page photograph Monday in the Post shows the back of the tank top with the obscenity printed in Old English lettering between the shoulder blades. The first letter of the first word is visible; the three other letters are intentionally blurred. The second word is 'You.' The paper's headline read: "F-Rod."
The Yankees had no immediate comment, team spokesman Jason Zillo said Monday.
According to the Post, the team's policy prohibits banners or signs that are not in "good taste" and also warns that security guards will eject any guests "using foul language" or "making obscene gestures." Zillo would not address whether the message on the shirt violated the policy.
In late May, A-Rod's marriage was front-page news when the Post published a photograph of him and a woman -- later reported to be a Las Vegas stripper -- at a Toronto hotel. The Post said the pair entered an elevator in the hotel and later went to a strip club.

Clifford Harris, the man best known heretofore as T.I., has been flapping his gums about his new album T.I. vs. T.I.P. (out Tuesday) for almost a year, but it's just now that he's really spelling out the record's complicated concept. He's given his most succinct words on the subject to the New York Daily News, and yet, what he's talking about is still anyone's guess. Try, just try, to wrap your head around this:
"I think T.I.P. thinks T.I. is a little too concerned with fame and stardom. And T.I. thinks T.I.P. is too concerned with the way we used to live rather than the way we need to live right now. Both of these individuals reside within Clifford Harris. He just pretty much sits back and watches the show."
Which is to say: nonsense! The only difference between T.I. and some homeless schizophrenic man feeding pigeons on a park bench, ranting about the voices in his head is that T.I. is being paid to talk about his crazy. The homeless man gives it for free. After listening to T.I.'s album, it's clear that the homeless man offers the better bargain.
LINDSAY LOHAN's lawyer have angrily blasted the police for "selling stories", after the actress' toxicology tests following her drink driving arrest were leaked online.
A report published on entertainment site TMZ.com shows Lohan had cocaine and "nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol in her blood when she crashed her Mercedes in Beverly Hills, California on 26 May (07).
Following her arrest, Lohan checked into Promises rehabilitation centre in Malibu, California, where she currently is still seeking treatment.
After police sources told TMZ.com the alleged results of the toxicology tests, the Mean Girls star's attorney issued an angry comment.
Lawyer Blair Berk tells the New York Daily News, "This is an ongoing investigation. It is shameful that law enforcement would be selling stories, let alone unverified ones." Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney, says, "Our office has not received the final toxicology reports - only preliminary results - and the police have not formally filed a case yet."
TMZ has learned that a lawyer for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo is trying to keep photos of the couple having sex out of the weekly magazines and off the Internet.
Racy photos of the hot couple were published in this week's Life & Style magazine, showing the two engaged in a heavy makeout session in a jacuzzi at a private resort in Mexico. We're told, however, these photos only show part of the fun the couple had. Arriba!
TMZ has learned that the rest of the roll shows the two not only making out, but having hardcore sex in the hot tub. A source who has seen the photos tells TMZ that they are "Paris sex tape-level scandalous," and include images of the couple in several different sex positions. That's hot!
High-powered Hollywood attorney Marty Singer has sent a letter to the weekly mags, warning them that should they publish the steamy pics, they'll face one mother of a lawsuit. Don't mess with Marty!
Singer told TMZ the photographer was "outrageous and malicious," adding, "The photos that were taken of our clients by a Mexican photographer violated Mexican law and were a clear invasion of privacy, and we have threatened to take legal action against third parties who publish the photos."
TMZ contacted the photo agency who took the pics. We were told in no uncertain terms that they were NOT for sale.

Icelandic musician Jóhann Helgason has filed a copyright suit against Rolf Løvland claiming Løvland's song "You raise me up" - made famous by singer Josh Groban - is too similar to Jóhann's own "Söknuður" to be considered anything but outright theft.
The Norwegian Løvland has in the past spent quite some time in Iceland working with various musicians and it's more than likely he'd heard it before as it's been one of the most beloved songs in the country for the past 30 years. Jóhann originally wrote "Söknuður" for singer Vilhjálmur Vilhjálmsson, who wrote the lyrics, and it was released in 1977 shortly before the singer's death.
Løvland wrote "You raise me up" in 2001 for his band, Secret Garden, and it was featured on their album - sung by Irish singer Brian Kennedy. Since then it has been recorded more than 473 times around the world in different languages but it's Josh Groban's version that's found the most success.
Jóhann had experts compare the two songs, melody and harmony, and the verdict is that the two songs are 97% the same. A British law firm has taken the case.
For me the similarity is startling - but that might be because being Icelandic I know the original so well. Please judge for yourselves:
Söknuður (please excuse the peek into my picture folder - I made this in a hurry):
You raise me up:

Laura Benanti gets ready to star in City Center's Gypsy and TV's Eli Stone -- and begin married life with actor Steven Pasquale.
By: Brian Scott Lipton
Not every actress is content to shine her light under the bushel, but Laura Benanti isn't just any actress. Sure, she's played such glamorous creatures as Cinderella in Into the Woods and Claudia in Nine, but she'll be in far less posh duds through the first two-thirds of City Center's upcoming production of Gypsy, which begins a three-week run on July 9. She will play Louise, the awkward tomboy who grows up to be the famed ecdysiast Gypsy Rose Lee, in the classic Jule Styne-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents musical.
"I am going to be the bottom half of a cow for a lot of the first act, and I don't care if that's not my finest moment," says Benanti. "I have always wanted to do this part, even when I was a kid. I just love the transformation she goes through. It's a complicated role; it's hard to play someone who's overlooked without being boring. But then we get to see this character she's created: Gypsy."

Fergie is set to make $4 million by promoting a US clothing firm in her songs.
The 32-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer, who has become the first star to agree to product placement in her songs, will write and perform tracks endorsing fashion company Candie's on her second solo album.
An executive at Fergie's record label Interscope said: "With record sales in decline, you must find novel ways to make money out of the music. The trick is to make the brand part of the song so that it slips down easily rather
than chokes the fan.
"Candie's will have no say over exactly what Fergie will sing, or when.
Fergie does not sing jingles so it will have to work unobtrusively in the song."

Penelope Cruz had a panic attack onboard a Continental flight from Newark to Barcelona Thursday night. Cruz, who appeared to be traveling alone, was in first class and became agitated after the plane left the gate. After she spoke with the cockpit, the plane returned to the gate and Cruz deplaned. A fellow passenger told Huffington Post, "She was freaking out and refused to fly." In the process of Cruz deplaning, the flight removed all the bags, which then sat in the rain to the consternation of fellow passengers, so that the airline could locate her luggage.
The status on Continental's website of Flight 120 shows that the airplane returned to the gate in Newark before taking off almost two hours late, at 8:52 pm for a 7:10 pm departure.
Continental spokesman Dave Messing had no additional comment.
Cruz's publicist Carrie Gordon insisted to Huffington Post all is fine, saying, "There was no panic attack. The airline let her know there was going to be a 3 or 4 hour delay due to the storm. She had work so she figured she'd deplane and fly when the storm passed."

Cameron Diaz Denies Criss Angel Divorce Claim
MONDAY JULY 02, 2007 03:45 PM EDT
By Stephen M. Silverman
"When Cameron met Criss Angel in May of this year, he had been separated from his wife for over a year and she had already filed a petition to divorce him in 2006," Diaz's rep, Brad Cafarelli, tells PEOPLE in a statement. "Cameron and Criss went on only four dates overa month ago and have no current relationship," he said.
As was reported by the New York Post, Joanne Sarantakos, 37, of Long Island, N.Y., is accusing Angel, her husband of five years, of mental cruelty and abandonment – as well as having had an affair with Diaz.
"We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover," her lawyer, Dominic Barbara, reportedly told the Nassau County court, where Angel (realname: Christopher Sarantankos), 39, and his ex faced off on Friday. "We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."
In his statement, Cafarelli added, "These are meaningless, attention-seeking attempts to unfairly and unnecessarily exploit Cameron's celebrity by trying to involve her in matters she has nothing to do with."
Back in May, Diaz, 34, and Angel were repeatedly seen together in Las Vegas.

Alvin Henry, a member of the 400-meter relay team for Trinidad and Tobago at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, was arrested Sunday near Prospect Park in Brooklyn by police who matched him to a composite sketch of the rape suspect.
The 30-year-old runner was arrested on charges of rape, sexual misconduct and sexual abuse, police said. He was being arraigned Monday, and information about his lawyer wasn't immediately available.
Brian Lewis, secretary general of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, confirmed the man was the same Alvin Henry who had run for Trinidad and Tobago.
"There's no denying that," Lewis said, adding Henry had represented the country in other races.
Lewis said he didn't know what Henry was doing in the United States. Henry lives in Queens.
"He stopped running a couple of years ago," Lewis said. "He just dropped off the scene."
Police said Henry attacked three women in Baisley Park and Roy Wilkins Park in Queens and two others in Prospect Park, including a 15-year-old girl in April. In at least four of the attacks, police said the women had been walking with men. When the men left, Henry pounced, police said.
The latest assault took place June 15 in Prospect Park, where police said Henry brandished a gun and raped a 34-year-old woman. After that attack, investigators were able to link it to others.
Would Ugly Betty make a good reality show? VH1 may soon find out. The cable network is developing a new show called America The Ugly that's said to be inspired, in a roundabout way, by ABC's hit sitcom (itself a copy of the Spanish-language show Betty La Fea).
The premise: What happens when unattractive women are thrown into the high-glam environment of the fashion and modeling industries? On hand to make sure the contestants feel sufficiently bad about themselves will be Becky Southwick, best known as the salty-tongued Wilhelmina Models executive who was forever castigating her girls for being too fat on VH1's The Agency.
Southwick, who now works at Trump Model Management, confirms that she shot a pilot, but says she hasn't been told whether the show is being picked up. "I'm not even confirmed for it, anyway, so I don't know what's happening with it," she says. "I've got other things of my own going on."
Victoria Beckham is set to make a splash on US television three days after her husband David Beckham is officially introduced as the newest member of the football club Los Angeles Galaxy on July 13.
Local network NBC plans to air a one-hour special titled "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America" on July 16, reports Soccernet, a popular US-based football website.
The show will follow the England midfielder's wife, a former member of the 'Spice Girls' pop group, as she prepares to move from Europe to the US with her husband.
Initially, NBC had announced a six-episode series in February that would air during the summer. However, shooting time was limited by Victoria, earlier known as Posh Spice, spending time in Europe as David Beckham wound down his playing career with Real Madrid in Spain.
So NBC decided it had enough footage to air a one-hour special. Among the executive producers is Simon Fuller, who managed the Spice Girls before their break up.
The Beckhams, currently on vacation, will arrive in Los Angeles next week.
I'm excited, I love her.
Dana Delany, Emmy winning actress best known for her work on China Beach, is finally coming to Wisteria Lane after turning down the role of Bree Van De Kamp three times. Thank God she did because that would’ve meant I would have never experienced the brilliance that is Marcia Cross.
TV Guide is reporting that the actress is in talks to become a series regular as Bree’s estranged sister Katherine. According to the casting breakdown, Katherine is a “conservative Republican with an all-American wholesomeness and a mastery of passive aggressiveness.”
Katherine is said to be a former neighbor who is coming home after an absence of more than a decade with a younger man for a husband (described as “the best-looking gynecologist in town”) and a 17-year-old, troublemaking daughter.
Squee! Great. Finally a good storyline for Bree that doesn't involve contemplating whether her boyfriend/fiance is a psycho or one of her children reaking havoc on planet Earth.

MADD's "primary concern" about Hilton is "the kind of messages being sent to the public and young girls nationwide about the seriousness of drunk driving and drinking by those under 21," the bulk of Hilton's fan base, Moyse said.
Hilton said on "Larry King Live" last Wednesday that she wanted to work with MADD. She also repeated her desire to help female inmates, breast cancer victims and people with multiple sclerosis.
Moyse said that she had not heard of any contact between MADD and Hilton's representatives.
"We haven't heard from them. We haven't reached out to them," Moyse said. "Typically, we wait until the case is closed. There's just a lot of parameters we have to look at at our end, regarding the person taking responsibility and other things."
Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, has not made a comment.
Hilton served 23 days in jail for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case by driving on a suspended license. She repeatedly cited a miscommunication with her lawyer for driving on the suspended license.
When asked by King if she got "a raw deal," Hilton said she did, later saying "the crime did not fit the ... punishment."
"I don't feel like I deserved to go to jail for it," Hilton said.
Hilton also told Larry King that she would not drink and drive again, though she claims to have only had one drink before her arrest.
According to experts, Hilton must have consumed more than one drink to get a blood-alcohol level of .08 -- the state minimum for a drunken driving charge.
On June 7, MADD issued a statement that called for alcohol ignition interlock systems to be placed on her vehicles.
The system would require the driver to blow into a small handheld alcohol sensor unit attached to a vehicle's dashboard. The car cannot start if the blood alcohol level is above a preset level -- usually .02 to .04
A variation in California law has kept that from happening, Moyse said.
"We do believe she should still be on an interlock given the driving on a suspended license more than once," Moyse said.
I realize this isn't BREAKING NEWS! but gosh nothing is happening!!!!!

Hollywood beauty Michelle Pfeiffer has defended men over the size zero debate, insisting it’s women “who have created the myth that skinny is attractive”. The Batman Returns star has blasted women who put pressure on each other to be thin - branding them “crazy”.
She says, “Men don’t want undernourished and bony women. And they don’t find grotesque plastic surgery attractive either. So it can only be women who put the pressure on themselves. Why are we doing this to each other? It’s crazy.”
Here's a recent interview with Extra. Ilu Michelle!
Prince Edward, Wife Sophie Expecting Baby No. 2
MONDAY JULY 02, 2007 04:45 PM EDT
By Stephen M. Silverman
"The Earl and the Countess [of Wessex] are both thrilled and excited," a palace spokesperson told the Associated Press. "The countess will continue with engagements as normal and take doctors' advice."
Edward, 43, is the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II. He and the former Sophie Rhys-Jones, 42, already have a daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, born in November 2003. The family lives in Surrey.
The new arrival will be the eighth grandchild for the Queen and Prince Philip, who "are delighted with the news," a Buckingham Palace statement said.
Edward and Sophie wed at St George's Chapel in Windsor in June 1999 after meeting six years earlier at a summer tennis event. Sophie had suffered a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy in 2001 before becoming pregnant with Louise, according to the BBC.
In a trend that will hopefully continue indefinitely, Lindsay Lohan is making some serious adjustments to her old life to help ensure her sobriety. This time it’s her apartment.
LiLo is reportedly moving out of her Sierra Towers apartment in the interest of changing her surroundings and staying off the bottle. And it’s the kind of decision that some say is essential if she wants to continue living a party-free existence.
"The Sierra Towers is party central. Lindsay has made the decision not to be around that when she gets out,” the source added.
Apparently the Sierra Towers have a reputation that is well-fueled by both current and former residents. Matthew Perry, Vincent Gallo, Cher, PJ Harvey, Evander Holyfield, Joan Collins, Peter Lawford, Fred Durst, Sidney Poitier, George Hamilton and David Geffen have all called the Towers home at one time or another.
But the Georgia Rule actress isn’t interested in contributing to the continual party atmosphere any longer. While she pursues treatment at Promises, her belongings have already been moved from the apartment to a new locale, more likely to help the actress/singer succeed in her new life ambition: sobriety.
An empty can of gourmet dog food taken from Paris Hilton's trash fetched $305 in an eBay auction.
The sellers were from the Web site HollywoodStarTrash.com, which also listed several other Hilton items for sale on eBay (nasdaq: EBAY - news - people ). A used toothbrush sold for $305; two envelopes sent to her while she was in jail sold for $510; and a Coke can pulled from her trash went for $51.
The organic gourmet dog food was produced by Party Animal Inc., and can be found in about 150 stores in Southern California and about 40 in New York. It can also be bought through the company's Web site.
VERSAILLES, France (Reuters) - British designer John Galliano marked his 10th year at the creative helm of iconic fashion house Dior with an extravagant autumn/winter show in Versailles Palace inspired by Impressionist and Modern painters.
What´s going on between actress Bijou Phillips, 27, and former That 70’s Show star Danny Masterson, 31?
The two bought a five-bedroom home in the Hollywood Hills together for an estimated $3 million.
Phillips and Masterson are currently starring in Blair Underwood’s directorial debut “The Bridge To Nowhere”.
Why have you drawn yourself as a superhero?
I’ve always wanted to be one. I had Spider-Man posters on my wall when I was young. I still have them. In the past two days I’ve watched 12 episodes of Heroes. It’s great.
What superpower would you want most?
To see through women’s clothing.
Like your mom’s?
That’s really sick; but with great power comes great responsibility.

The four surviving members of Pink Floyd will appear on a new DVD titled The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story. The new, two disc set retells the Pink Floyd story with a focus on original frontman Syd Barrett, who suffered a drug induced breakdown before the group reached it peak in popularity. After years of seclusion the singer/guitarist passed away in 2006.
Barrett’s fall from grace haunted the band for many years, as documented on key Pink Floyd tracks like "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Wish You Were Here." The film incorporates rare early footage of the band performing; including a live show at the UFO Club, and an appearance with former landlord/light artist Mike Leonard on Tomorrows World. There are also insights from former girlfriends, flat mates, producers, managers, friends and famous fans. All four surviving members of Pink Floyd recently performed at a Barrett tribute, though bassist/songwriter Roger Waters did not perform with keyboardist Rick Wright, drummer Nick Mason and guitarist David Gilmour.
After Barrett suffered a breakdown in 1968, Waters, Wright, Mason and Gilmour served as Pink Floyd’s core until the early-1980s. Since then, Waters has forged a solo career, while his bandmates have periodically toured and record under the Pink Floyd name. The four musicians most recently shared the stage London edition of 2005’s Live 8.
I always get sad when I think about Syd Barrett. I'll probably watch this because my dad will end up buying it.
Slightly OT, but I've been watching The Wizard of Oz along with Dark Side of the Moon and it's kind of freaking me out.
Isaiah Washington blamed costar Patrick Dempsey's repeated tardiness to the Grey's Anatomy set for the blow-up that resulted in Washington using a homophobic slur.
Interviewed on Larry King Live, Washington said he regretted not confronting Dempsey the first time he was late, so he challenged him the second time. But Dempsey wanted to delay the scene more to wait for Grey's star Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dempsey’s love interest, before shooting began.
"I said I don't need Ellen, I can act," Washington told King. "And that was the moment that sent it into a different zone."
According to Washington, Dempey erupted. "He became unhinged, sprayed spittle in my face," said Washington, in his first television interview about the controversy. "I'm asking him why is he screaming at me. ... He just becomes irate."
That's when Washington said "a lot of things I'm not really proud of."
"I said several bad words," he recalled, quoting himself as telling Dempsey: "There's no way you're going to treat me like the B-word, the P-word or the F-word."
He said that the "F-word" was not meant as an anti-gay slur, but implied "somebody who is being weak." Washington also strongly denied he ever directed the word at gay costar T.R. Knight.
"I am not homophobic – in no way, shape or form," said Washington.
As for Knight claiming the slur was directed at him, Washington said, "That's a lie. He misrepresented himself." Washington suggested Knight did that to advance his career and get more money. "He has been very disappointed in playing the character he has been playing. He told me that," said Washington.
But Washington said he felt badly about repeating the slur backstage at the Golden Globe Awards. "I wish I could take that back," Washington said.
He became emotional at one point in the interview. When King asked if any cast members had written to him, Washington paused and appeared close to tears when he recalled that Sandra Oh had sent him an email.
Washington ultimately attended counseling, but was fired from the hit ABC series.
(King said on the air that Grey's producers, Dempsey and Knight all declined to comment).
But I thought that YOU never used the F WORD! I just thought you got fired because your black! ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU SAID?!

Project Runway: The E! True Hollywood Story?
We hear that E! is trying to make a True Hollywood Story out of Project Runway, but they're running into some snags.
Apparently, publicists for various stars of the show - as well as those who work with Bravo TV - are hesitant to let the special proceed, fearing bad blood and gossip will prevail on the tabloid network.
Perhaps they're reminded of the Sex and the City episode, which delved a little too deep into the feud between Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-star Kim Catrall. Perhaps they're just reminded of the various New York magazine articles where far too much TV dirt gets dished - remember when Tim Gunn said that Daniel V didn't get the job he wanted at Michael Kors? Wow.
The show hasn't been nixed yet, but if it does go forward, cerain key Project Runway figures won't be involved -
Which is sad, since the show is so amazing and exciting, it would be hard for anybody to talk about their work with young designers without looking fabulous.
In the meantime, we'll have to console ourselves with new episodes of Top Chef, where Padma looks incredible and so does most of the food...
Santino ftw. I'd love to see what he'd have to say to E!.
Interpol showcased a series of new tracks from their forthcoming album tonight (July 2) for a one-off show in London.
The Astoria gig, which coincided with the release of the New York four-piece's new single 'The Heinrich Maneuver' gave the band a chance to warm up for this weekend's appearance at T In The Park and Oxegen, as they played four new songs from 'Our Love To Admire'.

Shia LaBeouf: Best performer? I don't know. Justin Timberlake's a sick performer. Really when you step back and look at it, I don't know if there are many people who've done it like he does it.
A guy could be watching and going, "Damn. He's sick." Not even in a homosexual way. Literally, you're just sitting there and going, "Damn. This guy is sick."
gURL: So you have a crush on Justin Timberlake?
Shia: A man crush.
gURL: Who do you have a girl crush on? Shia LaBeouf: Girl crush? Natalie Portman.
