Rosie took Oprah off her speed dial, not out of fury over this incident, but because she was using it a little too hastily. She once called the talk-show queen, distraught over the Columbine shootings. She then decided that maybe everyone would be better off if she deleted Oprah's number.
Meanwhile, the comedian continues to post on her blog at rosie.com despite the disapproval of her new boss, Barbara Walters. Her Monday entry read, in part, "last night we saw/FAME BECOMES ME/martin short is hysterical/i laughed til i cried/cried til i peed/kegel ladies kegel." She writes poetry about as well as Maya Angelou does the Betty Rubble giggle, which I presume to be flawlessly.

'Housewives' sex scene leaked onto internet
The producers of Desperate Housewives are investigating the leaking of a scene from a future series of the show.
A sex scene between Marcia Cross and Kyle Maclachlan has appeared on video website youtube.com, and Housewives bosses insist that the leak was not an official one
The incident marks the first time that the website has contained any footage from a TV series that is still in production.
An ABC spokesman commented: "We are looking into the unauthorised clips of Desperate Housewives on YouTube, and will be having them taken down."
CATHERINE ZETA-JONES was furious to learn her name was to inspire a canine character in new movie SNOW CAKE, and ordered her lawyers to halt the unflattering tribute immediately.
The film, starring SIGOURNEY WEAVER and ALAN RICKMAN, was to feature a pooch bearing the same moniker as the Hollywood actress - but Zeta-Jones was not amused.
An aide for production company Revolution Films says, "Her lawyers wrote back and said that on no account could her name be used for a dog." Scriptwriter ANGELA PELL says, "I liked the idea of naming the dog Catherine Zeta-Jones, because in the film it belongs to a teenage girl, and I felt it was the kind of name a teenage girl might go for.
"It's a shame we had to change it, it's only a story after all."
"I think she has Tom's eyes. I think she looks like Tom." Yeah, you keep on telling yourself that, sweetheart.

People are already claiming that Suri looks suspiciously like Chris Klein and that she also looks older than her age. I think the only way we can clear this up is a paternity test. Like that's going to happen.

Annie Leibovitz must be a big fan of the late, great Linda McCartney's work (who took the above image of Paul with their first child, Mary).
I think this story is a lot more boring than anyone could have imagined. Anyone hear of IVF? I am in the camp that believes this is Tom's baby and that's it. There is nothing more to the story.
Chestica Simpson announced on The View yesterday that she was not dating John Mayer. She was responding to the confirmations that People and Us Weekly ran. The publications claimed that Chestica and John were madly in love.
Sources say that they were in fact dating, but John dumped her ass because she was too loose-lipped about their union. The source said that their relationship "was a 2 [that] her camp spun into an 11 . . . [Mayer] thinks it's desperate . . . an attempt to stay in the spotlight."
I think John dumped her, because he was jealous of Papa Joe.
You know how sometimes you miss something, even though you never had it in the first place? Well, that's how I feel right now. You see, it turns out that Rachel Bilson was originally supposed to shoot a nude sex scene with costar Zach Braff in The Last Kiss, but vetoed appearing naked on screen. According to Contact Music, a body double was ultimately used for the scene in question.
Actress Rachel Bilson refused to strip off for raunchy scenes in new movie The Last Kiss, forcing studio bosses to call in a body double. The 24-year-old star of hit TV show The OC baulked at the steamy scenes with Scrubds star Zach Braff, and even though she was keen to impress in her big-screen debut, she stood her ground. She says, "It's not normal to make out with a guy in front of the camera. you can't think about it too much or you might get too nervous and Lord knows what would happen. "I said no. I feel really strong about that."
Um, grr. That sucks big time, but I guess you can't miss what you never had. Oh, wait, yes you can. But seriously, what has Hollywood come to when sexy young actresses can't be exploited for their physical beauty? Something is wrong in the world. Very wrong indeed.

Kevin Federline will appear on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" today to talk about living in the shadow of Britney Spears and the constant press scrutiny put on their lives.
"I would be lying if I didn't say it was tough," says Federline about being Mr. Spears, "I think the expectation is real high for me you know, it's like you see my wife here she is this huge superstar everybody loves her, all of her music is just hits after hits and it's hard to compete."
Even though K-Fed hopes his new single "Lose Control" will be the next "Toxic," the musician claims no rivalry exists at home. "I don't see it as a competition you know? Maybe other people are putting it in that perspective, but to me it's not a competition ... I just have fun. I love rapping and making music period."
Ellen's full interview with Kevin Federline airs today on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

You Are Loved(Don't Give Up)
his AOL Music page
His new CD is supposed to come out November 7th!
"We just finished the first episode and there's lots of prosthetic make-up in the first episode. Last year, we sort of got really silly and random, and we call it the stoner humor. We did a little more of that, and the fans loved it. We had our best ratings ever. The feeling is this will probably be the last year, so we're all just sort of going for it. The writing is just so surreal and bizarre and wacky, and we're going to give the fans what they want this year," Braff said while promoting his new film, The Last Kiss.
In addition to the quirky humor of the show, there will be a musical episode that Braff is really excited about.
"Everyone sings. I think there's a patient with dementia and anytime that anyone's in the ICU, we see the ICU through this patient's eyes, and everyone's singing as though they're in a musical… They're getting guys who write musicals to come in and write the music, and then the writers will write the lyrics. Part of it will be spoofing the musical, in and of itself, so I'm sure there will be a whole lot of down on one knee, out of breath, with your arms in the air."
As far as guest appearances go, Braff is really hoping to get a former "Arrested Development" character on.
Well, according to one published report,Britney Spears is going to have her second baby by C-section on Sept. 14 – the same day as she had Sean Preston, her first child, one year ago. That way, K-Fed won't have to go through all the hassle of remembering multiple birthdays.
What's more, says Star magazine, as cited by the New York Daily News, the baby will be given the name Jailynn, which is a mash-up of the names of Britney's dad (Jamie), mom (Lynn), and little sister (Jamie Lynn). As easy-to-remember as the baby's birthday will be, that name just seems fraught with potential for very embarrassing confusion.
I have been reading some comments on different sites and I decided to write one back in defense for my family. I will probably piss a few people off but I dont care. Heres what I wrote:
So I have been checking out what people have to say about my family and while normally I would just ignore what people have to say here I would like to have a fair chance to defend my life and family as I know everyone out there would do the same. People have opinions I get that but really why do people always have to trash talk. Aaron first of all is a good kid hes not on coke Aaron actually has severe acid reflux and almost anything he eats he cant keep down not that anyone cares but nonetheless absolutly true and im sure some people are rolling there eyes and saying what a lame excuse but again just your opinion. None of my brothers are gay, just because a man can have a heart and was in the BSB doesnt mean that they are gay you are just being ignorant if you come to such a conclusion. My sisters Bj and Angel first off Bj has been like any girl who gets mixed up into things she shouldnt everyone makes mistakes and when you dont have parents sitting you down and helping you correct those mistakes you tend to continue on the same path. Angel is a young 18 year old girl whos having fun and lets face it doesnt care about whats going on around her but I think a lot of 18 year olds believe that the world revolves around them. Eventually she'll grow out of it. I am definatly not a perfect person, actually far from it. I am extremely sensitive to all that people say because for some reason I didnt think people you dont even know could be so mean. I am tired of it and I know THIS will not stop the shit talking but I do hope somehow it could open up peoples eyes to the possibilty that they are wrong. What we do with our lives is our buisness, if you wanna watch watch if you wanna judge go ahead, you take the opportunities that are handed to you it would be stupid not to.

J Records founder Clive Davis, the man responsible for signing a teenaged Whitney Houston to his former label Arista Records in 1983, tells MTV that he and the troubled singer are currently working on songs for a new comeback album.
Davis says they've already chosen six tunes that she'll record, yet warns against fans having unrealistic expectations about the album’s music production and lyrics, the latter of which will likely avoid mention of her recent challenges.
"Whitney doesn't write," Davis told MTV. "It's a gift -- you either got it or you don't. I've seen more artists lose a career over trying to do that. Ella Fitzgerald didn't write. Lena Horne didn't write. Whitney is Whitney, and there ain't nobody like her. It'll be Whitney. It won't be somebody reaching for a current trend, that's for sure."

Is Paramount Pictures worried that Beyoncé Knowles' heavy hype for her new album — released yesterday — is hurting promotional plans for the December blockbuster "Dreamgirls"?
A knowledgeable insider insisted yesterday that Beyoncé's album "B'Day," marking the singer-actress' 25th birthday Monday, could threaten the movie, which Paramount acquired last December when it absorbed DreamWorks SKG.
"Beyoncé's oversaturation in the marketplace has thrown a major monkey wrench in the 'Dreamgirls' rollout campaign," the insider told Lowdown, claiming that her album was originally planned for next year, but Beyoncé — concerned that the film won't be the star vehicle she'd hoped for — secretly recorded it this summer, without the knowledge of Paramount or even her manager-father, Matthew Knowles.
"It will take away from the anticipation of the 'Dreamgirls' soundtrack," said my source. "She has left Paramount with not a lot of options for rolling out this film. … All her solo attention is making Paramount reposition their strategy at the last minute."
Yesterday, a Paramount spokesman scoffed at this account, claiming, "The buzz created by the album's release has only raised awareness of the film," noting that Beyoncé's "Dreamgirls" original tune, "Listen," is on her new CD. "Paramount and DreamWorks are nothing but thrilled with Beyoncé," the flack said.
Beyoncé's PR rep, Alan Nierob, also disputed the insider: "I guarantee you that the publicity campaign for the film is in place, and nothing relating to the publicity for her solo album has affected that campaign."
But the insider insisted: "She rushed that album out in part because she realized she's not going to be the one to shine in 'Dreamgirls.' Apparently she didn't come to terms with the fact that the Effie White character" — played by "American Idol" contestant Jennifer Hudson — "is the focal point of the film."
Nierob countered: "The movie is not only the vehicle she'd hoped it would be, it has surpassed what she hoped it would be."
JC Chasez Works With Justin On Adultery Track, OK Go On Dance Moves
09.06.2006 6:00 AM EDT
'NSYNC singer's Schizophrenic follow-up due in early 2007.
NEW YORK — Given the subject matter of "Until Yesterday," you'd wonder if JC Chasez took a turn toward country music.
"Well, it's not your average love story, by any means," the 'NSYNC singer said of the first single from his yet-untitled sophomore LP, due in early 2007. He performed the track with one of his best friends, Justin Timberlake, at New York's Roseland Theatre after last week's 2006 MTV Video Music Awards (see "Underdog Night At The VMAs: Panic, Gnarls, Blunt, Chamillionaire Win Big"). "It's actually about your girlfriend getting knocked up with another man's baby. How would you deal with that?"
Not well. But Chasez's music, while perhaps embracing the "cry in your beer" country ethos, won't sound anything like Travis Tritt. Chasez calls the album — which he spent more than a year and a half working on and just finished recording last month — a collection of "intelligent pop" (see "Justin Wows At Post-VMA Club Show; JC Chasez, Three 6 Mafia, Will.I.Am Join In").
"It's a great pop record — one that makes you think," he said of the follow-up to 2004's Schizophrenic. "It's not generic, and it's just a great sounding record too."
Chasez and Timberlake co-wrote and co-produced "Until Yesterday," along with two other cuts that are slated for the final track list: "God Bless America" and "Better With You." The singer also worked with rapper/producer Timbaland on a tune called "Fire"; producer Dallas Austin (Kelis, Gwen Stefani) on "F--- With My Mind"; and Billy Steinberg (who worked with Madonna in writing "Like a Virgin") on "I'm Not Sleeping Alone."
And, of course, Chasez had nothing but glowing reviews for his buddy Justin's upcoming LP, FutureSex/LoveSounds, due Tuesday (see "Justin's Album Shows Off Two Sides: Over-The-Top Saucy, Unassumingly Sweet").
"He has a phenomenal record coming out," Chasez said. "Obviously, he's one of my best friends. But 'SexyBack' is a brand-new sound for him, and it's opened up a lot of minds. The safe route would have been to make another record like the last one, because it was so successful. But I like the fact that he said, 'No. I'm going to be artistic. I am going to change my sound,' because that's what he was inspired to do."
When MTV News talked to Timberlake last month, he said he was excited to be working with his longtime friend.
"He and I have written three or four songs now that I kind of put a producer hat on for, which was an honor, because in my opinion, he had the best voice out of all of us," Timberlake said of his former bandmate (see "Justin Opens Up About Britney, Lance, JC And The Media"). "Out of all the boy bands, call 'em what you will, he was the one that could out-sing all of us. And I've known him since I was 10, so it was fun to sit behind the board and push him."
Chasez said he plans to tour in support of his next album, but at this stage in the game, he's more concerned with finishing the record's final mix — a task that should take up at least much of this week. And who knows? Perhaps when Chasez does hit the road, he could join forces with his new pals OK Go.
"They're actually really cool," the singer said after meeting the band the afternoon before they'd take the stage to re-enact the treadmill tomfoolery of their video "Here It Goes Again" (see "YouTube Faves OK Go: The Band Least Likely To Become Famous For Their Dancing"). The bandmembers consulted with Chasez about potential dance moves they wanted to borrow and throw into the mix. "I am going to go check them out now, and if the music is any good, I will certainly become a fan."

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross is expecting her first child with husband Tom Mahoney, PEOPLE has learned exclusively and the actress's rep confirms. The baby is due in April.
Cross, 44, and Mahoney, 48, a stockbroker, got married in June after dating for more than a year.
They became engaged in August 2005. "She's over the moon," Cross's Housewives costar Eva Longoria told PEOPLE at the time. "I'm so excited for her. It's so beautiful to see her this happy and so in love."
Cross, recently nominated for a best actress in a comedy Emmy, plays uptight Bree Van de Kamp on the ABC series, which begins its third season on Sept. 24.
Spade’s rep would neither confirm or deny the breakup, but tells Us, "David and Heather have always been friends and will remain friends."
Though it was Spade’s decision to end the relationship, the couple’s constant fighting over the last several weeks made it obvious to both that it was over.
“They broke up simply because she became more and more of a b-tch as she became more comfortable with him, and was difficult in every way,” says the source, who says that Spade was wary that Locklear was simply rebounding from husband Richie Sambora, from whom she split in February.
“He was really cautious and saw some of the danger signals,” says a source. “She just became so high maintenance, and so not worth it to be with.”
The source adds that Locklear, 44, who has recently been seen on the arm of TV producer Jonathan Prince, may have been dating Spade, 42, for publicity and seeing several other men at the same time. "This whole time she was just playing him.”
FORMER X Factor winner Steve Brookstein sang karaoke at a Glasgow restaurant this week.
Steve, who was in Scotland for a radio tour to promote his new single Fighting Butterflies, has come a long way from his days on the box.
Now ready to make his own mark with self-penned songs, the newly-married Steve certainly made an impression on the punters at the Shanghai Shuffle.
Scots actress Kathleen McDermott, who works as hostess with the mostess at the eaterie, said: "We got him to sing his song Against All Odds and all the girls were screaming."
And a reminder of the stunning talent this show has brought to our screens...
1. “Be really careful with me on the phone. Distance makes the brain grow more maniacal.”
2. “Twenty-four-hour phone-sex assistance. If there’s a cute girl in the front row, I’m gonna run offstage and call you.”
3. “You have to run every single fantasy you’ve ever had through me. You’ll never cheat. You see a cute guy at the gym, I’ll be him. Or we’ll get him. I don’t care.”
Since rumor has it Mayer and Ms. Simpson are already over, we’re kinda wondering which tenet of the Tao of John she violated. Guesses?
Victoria Beckham signed with Telstar on 2002 and recorded around 60 songs, here's eleven of them. These are remixes though, not the original. Then she got knocked up and Telstar went bust. She should've released these, they're fantastic. These are not the same as the so-called second album sold on ebay, those are fan remixes and songs found in The Real Beckhams DVD. Beyonce covered one of the songs (Resentment) in her new album B'Day, only she tweaked it a bit so she's included in the writing credits.

Julian McMahon Doesn't Sweat the Naked Scenes
If it's wet shirt week and we have to choose, give me Julian McMahon any day before Justin Timberlake. Thankfully, we don't have to choose. Here's an exclusive peek at how McMahon appears on the cover of the upcoming September 12 issue of The Advocate. Nip/Tuck has been going out of its way to rope in more gay viewers than the show already had with last week's leaked screenshots of Mario Lopez and McMahon naked in the shower. Although I have a lot on my TV plate already, given this season's preponderance of male flesh I may have to begin watching regularly.

Kelis Feat Nas - Blindfold Me
From TV Guide Magazine.
Premiers October, E!
Starring: Aaron, Bobbie Jean, Angel, Nick and Leslie Carter
“The last thing the world needs is another reality show for no frickin’ reason,” says Nick Carter, the blondest and youngest of the Backstreet Boys. So what’s the frickin’ reason for this one? “We put it all on the table,” He says about House of Carters, a look inside the mega- dysfunctional home life of Nick, brother Aaron, and sisters Leslie, Angel, and Bobbie Jean Carter. As the eldest, Nick felt it was his duty to bring the brood together after a rather turbulent past. The result records every last catfight and group hug, all against the backdrop of Nick’s struggles with his solo career. “The cameras were rolling from 8 in the morning till 2 in the morning, so they pretty much captured all the chaos,” he says. Caught for posterity: a fistfight between Nick and Aaron, who wouldn’t turn down his stereo late one night, and a subsequent house call from the family shrink. Meanwhile, the three sisters strive for their piece of the pop-star pie. “We hadn’t been living under one roof for awhile,” Nick says. “So the cool thing is, the show brought us all closer together.” All together now: Awww!"

Lindsay Lohan is apparently so beloved by inmates in New York's Collins Correctional Facility that they hang up sexy photos of her.
That's the claim of inmate Michael Lohan, who tells tonight's "Inside Edition" that he was upset when he arrived in June 2005 at the prison outside Buffalo and discovered that his fellow convicts — including pedophiles and sexual offenders — admire photos of his daughter.
"That was a problem when I first got here, because [the other inmates] had a lot of Lindsay's pictures hung up in their lockers," Michael says, adding that he warned his jailmates: "That's my daughter, and because I'm here with you now, I'd appreciate it if you took it down." Asked if they complied, Michael said: "Yes, most would, but sometimes it took some persuasion."
Lohan must be one mean hombre.
The 46-year-old inmate, whose earliest possible release date is Oct. 7, 2007, is serving up to four years for drunken driving, contempt of court and assaulting his brother-in-law with a shoe. In his first-ever prison interview, he reveals he has written dozens of letters to his estranged daughter. "I know that Lindsay loves me and she knows I love her, and that's all I ever wanted in return. That, and I ask for forgiveness."
Lohan's spokeswoman declined to comment.
In other Nick news, looks like he and ex-wife Jessica Simpson have managed to avoid a nasty divorce battle by reaching a settlement about their finances. Of the $36 million the couple allegedly amassed during their marriage, Lachey is entitled to half. However, the What's Left of Me singer has agreed to walk away with a lesser amount.
Simpson Sings The Blues
"I'm in a really good place," Jessica told Rosie on The View yesterday. She added, "[People magazine] put this quote saying that I'm in love! I'm actually not dating John Mayer. You know, he's my friend, I've known him for a couple years."
And, it seems that Simpson and Mayer will remain just that - friends only.
As PerezHilton.com was the first to report, John posted a cryptic message on his blog late last week, telling us "Don't believe the hype." Because as quickly as it sizzled, the Mayer/Simpson fling has now fizzled.
Their relationship, while bona fide, was hardly one for the ages. It is, a Mayer pal tells Us Weekly, "a '2' her camp spun into an '11.'" In fact, a Mayer friend tells Us, the musician has lost a lot of respect for his brief fling and "now he will stay away from her. He thinks it's desperate. An attempt for her to stay in the spotlight."
On August 28, a Simpson source assured Us the couple would spend time together in NYC throughout the upcoming week. Simpson, according to this source, was looking forward to Mayer's August 30 concert at New York's Jones Beach. Instead, Us learned, she opted to stay in and have what a hotel employee called "a slumber party" with sister Ashlee and a number of other girls. A reservation was made (by whom is unclear) in Mayer's name at the city's Soho Grand Hotel, where Simpson checked in August 28. Sniffs a Mayer pal, "He has an apartment in the city. Why would he stay at the Soho Grand?" By September 4, a Simpson confidant was insisting that she and Mayer had had late-night trysts on August 30 and 31, and hinted that she had even spent the weekend in upstate New York (Mayer had a concert there). But she and Ashlee partied until 3 a.m. Saturday night at NYC club Don Hill's. In fact, the two were never spotted together during Simpson's entire New York visit. As Us Weekly went to press, the realization that Mayer had moved on seemed to have set in, and the same Simpson pal began to backtrack and confirm the cooling-off, saying, "She met a guy who was scared away by all the attention."
"It's very clear to John who was pushing this story," says a Mayer pal about the Simpson publicity machine. "And it's also very clear to him that Jessica's under a lot of pressure to sell an album." However, even with the headlines created by the leaks, her album A Public Affair sold just an estimated 95,000 units in its first week. In contrast, Lachey's What's Left of Me moved 172,000 copies its first week.
Awww, poor Jess.
We think we see an appearance on Oprah real soon!

Since the late 1960s, an anonymous group of Motion Picture Association of America employees has controlled the U.S. movie ratings system with almost total secrecy.
In his new documentary This Film Is Not Yet Rated, Oscar-nominated director Kirby Dick exposes the names of the ratings board members -- with the help of a pair of savvy private eyes -- and the bizarre standards that the MPAA imposes on filmmakers.
The film -- both hilarious and disturbing -- received a rave reception at a screening at the Comic-Con International convention in July. It opened last week in New York and Los Angeles and will expand nationally over the next several weeks.
In a Q&A with Wired News, the director raps the ratings board, reveals the extent of Hollywood's paranoia and gives us yet another reason to love John Waters.
Wired News: Why is the MPAA so secretive?
Kirby Dick: It allows them to keep control of the process and manipulate it to their advantage without anyone knowing about it….
The MPAA is the lobbying arm and trade organization for the six major film studios, which control 95 percent of the film business. As an asset, the studios are going to use it in any way to increase their bottom line.
Right now the studios are making films targeted toward adolescents, and they respond to violence. That's why violent films get the less restrictive ratings. They want them to get out to the widest audience and restrict independent filmmakers and artists.
WN: Is this on purpose?
Dick: A corporation will do anything it can to increase its bottom line. It's not like someone is saying, "We're going to go after independent film." But it's a system setup that can be utilized to increase their bottom line.
WN: How does the MPAA ratings board react to violence as compared to sex?
Dick: They are much less restrictive when it comes to rating films with violence, and more restrictive when it comes to films with sex…. The Cooler with Maria Bello showed just two seconds of her pubic hair. It was enough to give it an NC-17. (By contrast,) Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. II had a great deal of violence and got an R-rating.
WN: What does the MPAA board think of gay sex versus straight sex?
Dick: It is much more harsh in rating gay sex than straight sex, almost a full rating more restrictive…. But this bias benefits the MPAA: A great deal of what they do is lobbying Congress to pass laws that benefit the bottom line of the studios. Coming down hard on sex, particularly gay sex, appeals to the right in Washington and allows the MPAA to cozy up to them.
WN: What surprised you as you made the film?
Dick: The level of secrecy. The MPPA headquarters is in this overblown, faux Spanish-style mini-mall. From the outside it looks benign. But there's incredibly high security: You can't walk into the lobby; you actually announce your business at the gate from the sidewalk. If they want to let you in, they let you in at that point.
Researching how filmmakers were impacted, I was struck by how every filmmaker I interviewed whose film was initially given an NC-17 rating thought they'd made an R-rated film.
How many people refused to be interviewed because they were afraid of the MPAA?
Dick: Initially when I began this film, I thought I'd have no problem getting filmmakers to speak to me because they've had their films censored. But many were reluctant to go on the record because they were afraid their films would be harshly rated. I find this frightening.
WN: What's your favorite moment of the film?
Dick: When (director) John Waters described how he'd heard a doctor had gone before the board to describe the word "felching" to them.
WN: You hired two private investigators to track down the MPAA board members. You followed them to lunch and out to their homes. Isn't that a little creepy?
Dick: No, I don't think so. What I find creepy is the fact that this ratings board would be set up so its entire process is kept secret and the people who rate films are kept secret.
If it's for the public, it should be public. It's the responsibility of any investigative filmmaker or journalist to open this process up: We live in a democracy where things within the public interest shouldn't be happening within closed doors.
WN: What has been the reaction to your film from the MPAA?
Dick: The way … they have always reacted to criticism: They feel they're so powerful that they don't have to respond to it. Almost always their response is to ignore criticisms.
WN: What ultimate impact does the ratings system have on the content of films?
Dick: Many people have commented that most American sex scenes tend to look the same. American directors are all shooting for an R-rating, rather than exploring how sexuality could be presented. If you look at a filmmaker like Bertolluci's (NC-17-rated) The Dreamers, you see a much more cinematic exploration of sex and sexuality.
WN: Why do we have a ratings system in the first place?
Dick: The MPAA claims its rating system is meant to assist parents in guiding their children. In fact, I would say the ratings board is perhaps one of the most unprofessional boards operating in the country.
There are no professional or written standards. They receive no training. There are no experts -- media experts or child psychiatrists.
WN: Do you believe there should be any ratings at all?
Dick: What I would like to see from a ratings board is a much more effective method of getting information out to parents and the public.
I'd like to see a precise and comprehensive listing of sex, violence, nudity, smoking, drug use, thematic content so parents can decide whether they want (their kids) to go to see a film, not 10 (other) anonymous parents in Los Angeles.
And I'd like to see it professionalized -- written standards and training involved in the process.
WN: Do you think your movie will have any lasting influence?
Dick: I'm certain it will have an impact. I can tell by the way the press has responded. Most of the public is not aware of how the ratings system works, and (the film) really opens people's eyes.
Worse commercial made ever?
There were rumors circulating the school yards that the kid had committed suicide because of embarrassment. (Gotta love School-yard urban legends...)

Random crapola like this is what ONTD is all about...
A: It’s great! I haven’t seen them (Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan) in three years. It’s kind of like learning everybody again because they had been (touring) together between those three years (without me). It was good to build those relationships again.
edit: I cut the big picture sorri for messing up ur friends page!

Yes, it is really her voice. And she did recently got married on New Years
Proving that age is no boundary—even with a difference of 31 years—Iconic Brand Group, Inc. today announced that actress Sharon Stone will succeed teen queens Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen to star in the Badgley Mischka Fall/Winter ad campaign.
“Our collection represents Hollywood glamour with a modern twist and Sharon epitomizes this look,” said Mark Badgley and James Mischka. “We have dressed Sharon many times and working with her on this campaign and combining our visions was an incredible experience.” For her part, Stone commented, “I’ve known Mark and James for many years, ever since they brought their gorgeous gowns to my house and spread them all over my living room. Since then, I’ve always thought of wearing their dress like going to a great party—they’re fun, elegant, and intricately detailed.”
Shot in Hancock Park in Los Angeles by Gilles Bensimon, the gowns are set against a backdrop of the former estate of Dorothy Chandler, the legendary philanthropist who is credited with rejuvenating the performing arts in Los Angeles. The estate has played host to four presidents, including President John F. Kennedy, Jr., and is filled with celebrated artwork, some of which is featured in the shots. Stone is shown wearing six looks from the Couture Collection in the campaign, which was created by Iconix’s in-house marketing team. The looks include Deanna, a black shirred countessa gown; Agatha, a black/amethyst scarf and ribbon gown; and Augusta, a ruby crinkled organza and velvet tango gown. After completing the creative shoot, Bensimon shot a portrait of Stone and her three sons, including her newly adopted baby boy, Quinn.
The campaign will debut in October issues of magazines, including Vogue, Elle and In Style among others. Badgley Mischka, in support of Ms. Stone and Planet Hope, has committed $100,000 to Planet Hope’s worthy mission. While a spokesperson for the house could not confirm, it’s likely that Stone will grace the front row of the design duo’s show come September 14.
"As much as everybody wanted to believe these shots were real, the original picture has finally been leaked. It would've been more convincing had the Photoshopper actually seen a vagina before instead of just mindlessly painting in what he thought they looked like from his memory of seventh grade health class. Anyways here you have it. The five hour whirlwind of lies and deceit is over and we can finally put this case to rest.
And by the way today is the official Lindsay Lohan day. Didn't you know? If you don't talk about her at least six times in six hours the government will arrest you for being a spy. True story."
