left to right: Ashley, John, Camilla
Australian Big Brother Housemates Ashley and John were escorted from the House on Saturday afternoon following a breach of the rules. The producers Endemol Southern Star and Network Ten deemed their actions were grounds for their removal from the show. The producers will not be commenting any further on this serious matter.
In a joint statement made shortly after they left the House, Ashley and John said: "We had a great time in the house. It is unfortunate it had to end this way, but Big Brother has rules and regulations and we broke them.
“We are all very close in the house and we would never do anything to offend our fellow housemates."

Ashley and John have been escorted from the Big Brother house by security guards after sexually assaulting Camilla.
The incident occured Friday night at 4.30am when John held Camilla down in bed and Ashley rubbed his penis on her.
This behaviour has happened in past seasons of Big Brother and has gained the slang term "turkey slap".
Last year housemate Michael's similar behaviour prompted investigations into Big Brother: Uncut. (Michael was massaging Gianna's shoulders, he was wearing boxers and his penis was poking the back of her head. They later appeared in BB saying that it was just an accident, they both didn't realise it was happening, unlike the Ashley/John/Camilla case edit: er, now people are saying that they said they do realise it was happening, and that they were just mucking around. clearly my memory's fantastic.)
Producers have refused to comment officially as to why the pair were kicked out.
From people who watch the live feed:
citizenerased: Early this morning, Camilla was forced down by John as Ashley pulled out his penis and smacked her on the face with it. Ashley called it a "turkey smack". John also muttered something about a handjob making Camilla uncomfortable. Camilla didn't want to talk about it today and sometime this afternoon I think, Gaelen said that "she loved it" and did some licking imitations, obviously helping the situation.
Thanks to fourkicks: Someone on the OS forums caught Ashley talking about it earlier today:
Ash tells them that Camilla fully grabbed his c0ck last night
Gaelan says, yes, but only after you shoved it in her face.
Ash goes on that she was desperate for it and starts to make gestures and comments about double licking.
Thanks to scarlet_arts: In the official BB forums, the mods have posted the following announcement:
All posts speculating about incidents which resulted in the departure of John and Ashley from the Big Brother House will be deleted from the forums. This will be done for legal reasons and we appreciate your cooperation in not posting comments on this subject.

20:10 - BB tells the HMs John and Ashley have been removed from the House.
BB calls the HMs into the Diary Room. BB tells the HMs that Ashley and John have been removed from the House for seriously breaching the BB rules. The HMs are shocked and Krystal asks if they have left the House 'forever'. BB says John and Ashley will not be returning to the House.

Housemates' shock eviction

TWO male housemates were thrown off Channel Ten's reality program Big Brother late yesterday after the alleged sexual assault of a female contestant.
The future of the controversial top-rating show is now in serious jeopardy with influential SA Federal MP Trish Draper calling for it to be taken off air immediately.
Twenty-year-old Ash, whose real name is Michael Cox, of Perth, and John, who is 21-year-old Michael Bric, of Melbourne, were escorted off the compound at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast late yesterday afternoon after 70 days in the house.

Later this year Atlantic Records will release Present, the first solo album by Andrea Corr, the baby of the Corrs family, and for years the front woman of one of the most successful pop acts of the last ten years.
Stylorouge have been commissioned to produce a promotional film to accompany the release of the album which will intersperse Andrea's observations on the making of the album with live performances of some of the key tracks, just on voice and piano.
The album itself has been produced by Nellee Hooper, whose work includes classic tracks for Bjork, Soul ll Soul and U2 and countless chart-topping, dancefloor-filling remixes.
Not sure how much interest there is in The Corrs around here, but I adore them and thought I'd pass this along for anyone else who might. I'm not crazy about the album title, but I'm excited to hear Andrea's solo stuff, especially since her siblings seem a bit too busy having babies to be working on new music at the moment anyway.
Reynolds' unscripted departure has quickly turned into a highly publicized war of words, sparking debate on who started the dispute.
In her first TV interview since she was erased from "The View," ousted cast member Reynolds revealed Thursday that she was encouraged to lie about the reason behind her departure.
"They said, 'You can make up a story,' " Reynolds told CNN's Larry King, of her bosses at ABC. "The audience didn't deserve for me to make up a story. That's not fair."
But Reynolds told King she would not engage in a war of words with Walters, the co-executive producer of "The View."
"I will not denigrate Ms. Walters. That's not who I am," said Reynolds, who has been a co-host on the show since it first aired nine years ago.
"I have learned from that woman ... as much about television as I did about the law from my mentor, the late Johnnie Cochran," said the lawyer-turned-TV star.
She did, however, express disappointment that Walters had asked one of Reynolds' most vocal critics, Rosie O'Donnell, to join "The View" just days after being told her contract would not be renewed.
O'Donnell had previously criticized Reynolds about her weight loss, alleging she had gastric bypass surgery. "She went on a very public attack on me and my family," Reynolds told King. "She talked about my weight. ... I was so shocked by the viciousness of it." (but on the same show Reynolds finally admitted to having surgery. "Because of my health ... I needed a full-scale medical intervention, and my doctors had to step in to save my life."
And where's Walters in all this? She's tried to take the high road, but got dragged into the mud and said she was "blindsided" by Reynolds' on-air announcement on Tuesday, tried to help her colleague, and feels "betrayed."

Edit for all the people bitching: The small text is what happened last year and has already been posted. The rest of the article is new. Calm down.
HILARY DUFF is thrilled she was able to move to Hollywood and have a successful career, because she feared she might end up like some of her former friends. The 18-year-old singer/actress relocated from Houston, Texas to Los Angeles with her mother when she was nine-years-old to get her big break in show business. She explains, "I don't even know what my life would be like (if she hadn't moved)." Duff recently got a glimpse of her former life when she returned to her hometown to play a concert and she reconnected with old acquaintances. She adds, "It's scary to see some of them now. They work so hard to be the same as one another. They all do the same things and get into trouble because they're bored. I'm so much more my own person now."
**I love her, but sometimes she just says the stupidest things or just words things the wrong way.**
SHE MIGHT be considered one of the world's most beautiful babes - but supermodel Gisele says she's feeling her age.
The gorgeous 25-year-old claims men don’t hit on her because she’s too old.
The stunning blonde says she was approached by far more men when she was a teenager.
She said: “I definitely feel that I had more men hitting on me in the past.
"When I was younger, maybe 15 or 16, for sure."
She added: “Maybe I am not as good looking, I don’t know?
"Maybe my age has started showing? I take off my sunglasses and I’m 25.”
I actually thought she was 28....

Hip-Hop icons Biggie Smalls and Public Enemy will be revived as nine-inch plastic figures by Mezco Toyz this autumn.
The Notorious B.I.G. action figure will be clad in his distinctive white-tailored cloth suit along with a removable hat, cane and “bling accessories.”
“One of the greatest rappers of all time and undoubtedly a legend in his own right, this deluxe figure captures the very essence of a talented artist who met an untimely death,” the Mezco Toyz website reads.
The Public Enemy collection will feature Chuck D figures sporting a gold chain, baseball cap, and microphone. It will also include a Flavor Flav figurine wearing his signature clock necklace and Viking hat, with a gold chain and microphone.
The Flavor Flav, Chuck D and Notorious B.I.G. are all scheduled to hit stores this fall.
Here is the video of Brandon Routh on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno
He's quite dull but not as awkward as he looked in the Superman outfits.
His itunes playlist is pretty good.
Foo Fighters, Cake, Beck, Jamiroquai, and Ben Folds.
His sister, Sara Routh, is a musician apparently so she's on there too.
Also, many people have seen these pictures of Brandon dressed as Superman long before he got the part.
But if you haven't Googled him you've never seen him dressed as Batman too. :\

not sure how i feel about this one. i agree that it will bring some needed attention to the US about soccer and if the joins the bulls i may actually be able to see him play but i hope it doesn't somehow ruin shit for him. and he should know that if he, vicky, and the kids decide to live in new york city i'm gonna be on the look out for him :o
All I was told was, "I don't know for sure." Since we weren't given the screwface or since no one spit out their celebratory champagne in our faces, we assume that she has signed or is very close to being signed to Motown Universal. That's a good look for Sylvia Rhone considering all the money they've wasted on Yummy Bingham.

While she isn't hogging the spotlight like Duff, she is keeping herself quite busy recording an album and filming an independent movie as well as one that might hit theatres in 2007.
Ashlee Simpson has rubbished reports her father, JOE SIMPSON, controls her career, insisting he won't set foot into the recording studio until she gives him permission.
The PIECES OF ME singer maintains her father is misunderstood as a control freak, but is actually not as involved in her decisions as people think.
She explains, "(Sister) JESSICA (SIMPSON) and I are very much our own individuals. I'll make my record and not invite him into the studio until I invite him.
"Sure, he'll have an opinion but if I'm like, 'No, I want that song to be on my record' he'll be like 'All right, baby, you got it!'"
The former Baptist minister and adolescent psychologist also avoided giving Simpson a lecture when she was videotaped at a McDonalds outlet intoxicated, asking a fan to kiss her feet and climbing on the counter.
She says, "My dad could have been really mean to me about that, and he was so nice. He treated me like an adult."
Pop star MARIAH CAREY has lashed out at critics who claim she has gained too much weight to wear skimpy outfits, insisting she is actually very muscular.
The DON'T FORGET ABOUT US singer admits people give her a hard time about her revealing outfits, but she likes the way she looks and is fit - not fat.
She says, "I'm really bad with the weight thing. I go up and down really quickly because I am a muscular person. People don't realise."
Carey says her weight has become an issue because she is "a little thicker" than she has been in the past.
But the singer remains defiant about her healthy size, adding, "I don't want to be a skinny twig."
Kelly Clarkson opened her Addicted tour the night before last in West Palm Beach, FL. She debuted a few new songs which (assuming from what she's said in interviews) she's written herself. This is a potential track for her next album. Sidenote! Steven Tyler was in attendance.

Film critic Roger Ebert, who has battled cancer in recent years, was in serious condition at a hospital Sunday following an emergency operation to repair complications from an earlier cancer surgery.
Chicago Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper — co-host of the "Ebert and Roeper" movie review show — told the paper that Ebert's vital signs appeared to be good after the hours-long operation.
Ebert had surgery June 16 to remove a cancerous growth on his salivary gland. He told Sun-Times columnist Robert Feder at the time that the condition was not life threatening and he expected to make a full recovery.
About 8 p.m. Saturday, a blood vessel burst near the site of the operation, the Sun-Times reported Sunday on its Web site. A Northwestern Memorial Hospital spokeswoman declined to comment Sunday afternoon.
The 64-year-old has undergone cancer surgery three times before — once in 2002 to remove a malignant tumor on his thyroid gland and twice on his salivary gland the next year.
Ebert has been a film critic at the Chicago Sun-Times since 1967. He won the Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 1975, the same year he teamed up with Gene Siskel of the rival Chicago Tribune to launch their movie-review show. Siskel died in 1999.

ATLANTA - Grammy-winning producer Dallas Austin, who has crafted songs for TLC, Madonna and Michael Jackson, pleaded guilty Sunday to cocaine charges in the United Arab Emirates, a newspaper reported.
Austin faces up to four years in prison when he is sentenced Tuesday, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"I'm pleading guilty but by mistake," Austin was quoted as saying during a short hearing in Dubai. "I had no knowledge and no intention of violating the laws of the U.A.E."
The songwriter, whose life story was loosely depicted in the 2002 movie "Drumline," was arrested May 19 at Dubai's airport.
He was on his way to a three-day birthday party for supermodel Naomi Campbell at a Dubai hotel, the newspaper reported. He was charged with cocaine possession and has been held without bail at a police station, it said.
The newspaper said four attorneys accompanied Austin to the hearing: Mohammad al-Reda of the United Arab Emirates, Qays Hatem al-Zu'bi of Bahrain, Joel A. Katz of Atlanta and another American lawyer who declined to give his name.
Austin, who is based in Atlanta, has several hits to his credit, including Pink's "Just Like a Pill" and TLC's "Unpretty." He won a Grammy Award for best R&B album in 1999 for producing TLC's multiplatinum "Fanmail." He also produced "Drumline" and "ATL."
Robin Williams is desperate to reunite with director Christopher Nolan to take on the role of The Joker in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel. Casting rumors for the iconic villain have run rampant as Paul Bettany, Adrien Brody, Vincent Cassel, Hugh Jackman, Jude Law, Christopher Eccleston, Mark Hamill, Hugo Weaving, Adam Sandler and Sean Penn have all been linked to the project. Williams says:
On God, I'd love to do that one...You want to do a different Joker. You know, if they do 'Arkham Asylum', it would be amazing. 'Arkham Asylum' is one of the greatest, nastiest comic books ever. It's like the Marquee de Sade on that level, and wonderfully damaged and quite tragic, in terms of when you realise [what happened to] create these characters."
Christian Bale was again cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

ORLANDO BLOOM fears he and his PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN co-star JOHNNY DEPP won't be warmly welcomed back to St Vincent after a drunken meeting with the island's Prime Minister. The two pals had no idea RALPH GONSALVES would actually be meeting them at the airport when they landed in Depp's private jet and decided to toast their friendship with a red wine session during the flight. Bloom recalls, "We just got loaded on the plane. I mean we were wasted drunk. He (Depp) loves really good red wine. "We get off the plane and they rolled out the red carpet and the Prime Minister of St Vincent was there to meet us. "Johnny stumbles over to him and hugs him... and almost sticks his tongue down his throat, I'm, like, falling around picking up things... Nobody told us. It was just one of those moments."
Man, would I want to be on that plane!
In Lucky You, director Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential, Wonder Boys, 8 Mile) brings us a story based in the world of high-stakes Las Vegas poker. Huck Cheever (Eric Bana) is a blaster—a player who goes all out, all the time. But in his personal relationships, Huck plays it tight, expertly avoiding emotional commitments and long-term expectations. When Huck sets out to win the main event of the 2003 World Series of Poker—and the affections of Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore), a young singer from Bakersfield—there is one significant obstacle in his path: his father, L.C. Cheever (Robert Duvall), the poker legend who abandoned Huck's mother years ago. As these two rivals progress toward a final showdown at the poker table, Huck learns that to win in the games of life and poker, he must try to play cards the way he has been living his life and live his life the way he has been playing cards.
Lucky You production stills have been released! Besides Bana, Barrymore, and Duvall, the versatile and gifted actress Jean Smart (Martha Logan on 24) also stars in this movie along with Debra Messing, who plays the sister of Drew Barrymore's character. Robert Downey Jr. also makes a cameo in this film. Lucky You hits theaters September 9th.

Ryan Cabrera and Lisa from The Veronicas have broken up.
[Ryan was to have complemented a few of their shows and played solo until the announcement of the break-up with Lisa.
"You're actually the first one I've told, but we're not together any more," Lisa told The Courier-Mail yesterday.
"It was very recent, but we'll still remain the best of friends.
"We have one or two people we're looking at to come out in his place."]
Honestly, he seemed to get uglier with her. I couldn't find a good picture of them together oh well. I don't like The Veronicas music so maybe that's why I'm kinda glad they broke up.
On Monday i went to the GQ magazine party. It was really nice, in this courtyard with free open bar and lot's of champagne! haha. Pharrell performed which was really cool to see live and all these skinny white girl models got up on stage and shaked their hump humps. Or tried, hahaha. I was so tempted to get up there and show those girls what's up lol.
The next night we went to the Dolce and Gabbana party which was crazy, another free open bar and many a phone calls on my cell to canada that i really can't remember. I blame the open bar for the next morning. ugh.
Then, the best of the best, i think it was 2 nights ago. We went to a club in the park across the street owned by designer Roberto Cavalli. This is the club i met usher in last year. We show up, i tell them there's a "mistake" were not on the guestlist and they let us in haha. We walk in, and there is paparazzi EVERYWHERE. Weird. So, we go get some drinks and hang out for a bit. Then, i see all these flashes and yelling and Paris Hilton walks by. Surprise.
It was crazy, the paparazzi the jumping everywhere and climbing trees just to get pictures haha. She goes up to VIP. We hung out for a bit and went up to the dance floor to dance. The VIP is right above it. Paris and her friend look at us and wave us up. She came and said hi and called us sexy and and asked us where we were from. She's actually really nice.
I felt sorry for the poor girl because sooo many people were crowding around her and asking her stupid questions and stuff. Eventually we went up to vip. They weren't going to let us in until i told them i was from LA and i was one of Paris's friends. Woops-sy. You just gotta work it hahaha. We danced around with everyone up there and the dj played her new song (listen to it hahaha) and she sang and danced around and it was funny. We got pretty drunk, and went to some other clubs and that was the rest of the night.
