The former 98 Degrees pop singer won the second season of ABC's ballroom hit, "Dancing With the Stars," last month.

TMZ obtained a copy of the lawsuit, filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming producers falsely represented the movie to him as "a low-budget, art house film, with no prospect of making any money." Qauid claims the representations were a ruse from the beginning. 'Brokeback' has grossed around $160 million.
Quaid's suit claims that in 2004, he met with director Ang Lee, who offered him the role of Joe Aguirre. The suit alleges that Lee told Quaid: "We can't pay anything, we have very little money, everyone is making a sacrifice to make this film."
The suit does not specifically state how much Quaid made, but it does claim that the defendants "were engaged in a 'movie laundering' scheme designed to obtain the services of talent such as Randy Quaid on economically unfavorable art film terms..."
The suit asks for $10 million in damages as well as punitive damages. It also seeks "restitution for all ill-gotten gains."
Why do I giggle everytime I hear or read the phrase "ill-gotten gains"? Randy has been in the business a while, maybe he just feels used.
The megastar was the guest of honor at Yahoo's quarterly "Influential Speakers" event Tuesday at the company's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, bantering with chief executive Terry Semel and answering questions from the crowd.
After an impromptu arm-wrestling match with Semel, Cruise jestingly recreated his "Oprah" sofa-hopping episode, this time on a chair, to trumpet his joy about his fiancee and their soon-to-arrive offspring. Then he brought the very pregnant Holmes onto the stage, where he beamed and patted her round belly.
And, yes, he then sealed the interlude with a kiss.
TV's "Inside Edition" broadcast the happy event Thursday night.
Someone's GOT to find the video. Damn I'd love to see him jump on the couch, misstep, fall, and break his leg. Let's see his Scientology powers & herbal remedies mend THAT one together!

Carmen's denying the break up story...
|CARMEN Electra has scoffed at claims her marriage to Dave Navarro is on the rocks. According to recent reports, the couple are on the verge of splitting up because of the former Baywatch babe's hectic work schedule. One friend said: "Dave and Carmen are definitely headed for a separation. They've been having issues for a while now. They're living separate lives." But in an interview with the Access Hollywood TV show, Carmen said: "Everything is fine. Look, I'm wearing my ring. If there is something going I wouldn't wear it. There's no way I could run around town being fake. I'm a real person and we are doing just fine." - From BANG Showbiz|

Actress NATALIE PORTMAN prepared for her torture scenes in V FOR VENDETTA by thinking about the suffering her grandparents endured during the Holocaust.
The 24-year-old Israeli-born beauty researched her relatives' experiences online in order to be in the right frame of mind when shooting the harrowing sequences.
She says, "Fortunately my grandparents escaped, but their whole family perished in the Holocaust. There were stories in the house of what had happened to them and it wasn't that much talked about.
"I had to go on a website to read my grandfather's descriptions of what happened to the family, but it is absolutely something I have lived with and have grown up with.
"I loved that this film is an abstract thing because, after the Holocaust, people said it would never happen again, but now we have Rwanda and Bosnia.
"Maybe V For Vendetta can remind us to stand up against such despotism."
Jake Gyllenhaal and Kirsten Dunst getting back together?
Thursday March 23rd, 2006 at 6:18 pm
Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe are reportedly giving their relationship another go for the sake of their animals - and it looks like Jake Gyllenhaal and Kirsten Dunst will follow suit.
The couple jointly own two dogs, Boo Radley and Atticus, and a friend of Jake’s believes the pooches will bring them back together.
“They still see a lot of each other because of the dogs,” the friend has explained.
“Maybe because of that, they haven’t really moved on from each other so it’s got to the point where they both feel maybe they should be together.”
“They enjoy the same things and are under the same pressures from their work so they might just make it work after all.”

The show, titled Bloody Mary, was screened in early February by TV Works -- a subsidiary of Canadian-owned CanWest MediaWorks -- on its C4 network.
Roman Catholic bishops and church members condemned the decision to air the show and yesterday dismissed the channel's "so-called sincere apology" as "self-serving."
TV Works chief operating officer Rick Friesen said C4 probably would not have screened the Virgin Mary episode if it had known about the amount of offence taken by members of the public.
Domination's the name of the game
All pop fans secretly hope that boy-bands
enjoy rampant sex together. That Westlife
have orgies before dance practice, and that
Backstreet Boys' relax with a nice circle-jerk.
Well, here's one band that does do all that.
Remember O-Zone, who had a monster global hit
in 2004 with Dragostea Din Tea? Two of the three
singers are in a master-slave, dom-sub
relationship. Lead singer Dan is the sex master
of Arsenium, registered as his slave,
no 753-706-935. Dan has given permission for
Arsenium to indulge his fetish for rough sex
with other dominant partners. If you are
interested, Arsenium "likes to be spanked or
tied up", but isn't into water sports (sorry
Mark Oaten), kids, animals or "permanent damage".
In his spare time, Arsenium is Moldova's entry
for this year's Eurovision.

EDIT: Who they are (thanks to getin2thegroove for the link and photo):
She's Miley Cyrus, 13-year-old daughter of country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus. Friday, she makes her singing and acting debut with her dad in the new Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana (9:30 ET/PT).
As Daily Variety put it recently, young Miley is "loaded into the Disney cannon" and is about to be shot into stardom. She already has a contract with Hollywood Records, in addition to the show. A future as a fashion icon and rock star is looming.
Disney is adept at turning teen girls into stars. Duff, 18, started out on Lizzie McGuire and is now touring with her band. She recently appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Right now, the channel's That's So Raven is tied for top basic-cable series among girls ages 9-14 Star Raven Symone, now 20, has a CD out called This Is My Time and has been in movies including Dr. Dolittle.
In Miley, says Gary Marsh, Disney Channel entertainment president, "we saw a girl who has this natural ebullience. She loves every minute of her life. It shows in her demeanor and performance."
"Mom, Dad and baby are all happy and healthy," says a rep for the couple.
Last month, Lachey and dance partner Cheryl Burke won the second season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The former 98 Degrees singer and younger brother of Nick Lachey credited Lea, a dancer and choreographer, with "helping me with my posture, my feet" during the competition, he told PEOPLE.
After his victory, Drew told said he couldn't wait to kick up his heels with his new girl. "In a couple of years my daughter will be cutting a rug around me," he said at the time. "I'll hold her hands, and she'll be dancing on my feet. I'm looking forward to that."
Cheryl Burke tells PEOPLE her former partner will be a model dad. "He's going to be a great father," she says. "He will not spoil his child, that’s for sure. But he's so loving and he’s going to love his baby like no other."
On April 21, Lachey will cohost the Miss USA pageant in Baltimore with Nancy O'Dell of Access Hollywood.
"That's it! I've had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane! Everybody strap in! I'm about to open some fucking windows." LISTEN TO IT HERE!
It sounds real to me. I can't really name an exact source since someone sent to me on a messageboad. :/

The Flavor of Buzz

Flavor Flav and friends
We spend a lot of time tracking the sexy and the glamorous on the Buzz, so let's change things up a little and talk about Flavor Flav. We've been Flavor fans since his clockin' and shockin' days, when he loudly declared that it would take a nation of millions to hold him back. Now almost 20 years later, a nation of millions has catapulted Flav and his reality show, Flavor of Love, into the Buzz.
The show, which follows 20 lovely ladies competing for Flavor Flav's favors, began to feel the love in Search last week as the finale drew near. Flavor of Love rose 100% to rank in our top 500 searches. Weekly searches on the man himself heated up 156%, pushing the superstar into our top 1,500 searches. Queries for the ladies in the final lineup boiled as well, most notably on the winner, Hoopz (209%), and her rival, New York (+437%).
If there's any true love in this story, it has to be between Flavor Flav and VH1. His landmark appearance on The Surreal Life 3, followed up with Strange Love (which also featured his bizarre former lover Brigitte Nielsen) have all proved that Flavor Flav can seduce the viewers. Love may be blind, but we're likely to see Flav on TV for a long time.
Bitch plz, people searched your name to see "THE SPIT" you aren't that *~*~*~*Important*~*~*~* anymore, well you weren't in the first place but.....
she also posted that Pumkin got fired but that was already posted here
Next up in my ongoing Star Wars Rocks series of interviews on starwars.com with celebs and bands who love Star Wars is one of my favorite actors who seems to have been in just about every cool pop culture TV show or film I dig -- Seth Green.
I chatted with him about his upcoming DVD of his action figure stop-motion show "Robot Chicken" as well as his visits to Skywalker Ranch, his fascination with Boba Fett and Lando, and a rather humorous story about touring the prop archives with George Lucas.
One of the cutest stories he told was about his first Halloween costume as a Star Wars character:
"I still have pictures somewhere of me dressed up as Yoda for Halloween," Green laughs. "My mom made a horrible Yoda costume. I was painted green and she folded paper plates together and stuffed them with cotton and painted them green as well. I even asked for treats in Yoda's voice. Apparently, I got beat up a little bit. Those kids just didn't appreciate Jedi Masters."
Here's the full interview:

The PC game is set to debut in the fall, and will feature the voice of Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young.

Gwyneth Paltrow picks another crazy baby name
We have all been anticipating the arrival of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chirs Martin's second baby. Mostly because we all want to know what crazy name she's going to assign to this one. Yes, it's going to be a boy, and, as Page Six kindly points out, not going to be named Orange. (She's blonde not retarded.)
The little Martin man is going to be named after Gwyn's godfather, Steven Spielberg. So, he'll be named Steven, right? Nicknamed Steve?
Nope. It's Mortimer. Obviously, because Gwynnie calls Steve "Uncle Morty." So, let's get this straight.
She's naming her baby the full name of a nickname for somebody who's real name sounds nothing like the nickname she's given him. Either this is really outrageous and garbled gossip, or Gwyneth managed to think of something weirder than Apple.

Now here's the good news. Fantasia has been learning to read so she can read contracts and be able to read to her daughter. She's even pursuing her GED!
Also, despite being beat out by Jennifer Hudson for the role of Effie White in Dreamgirls, we're going to get a chance to see Fantasia act in an autobiographical film airing on the Lifetime network. After the film, we can expect a new album which will include songwriting/production by Missy Elliott and Ne-Yo (who also wrote Mario's "Let Me Love You" and is currently on the charts with his song "So Sick"). The album will also include songs written by Fantasia and possibly some country and rock songs.
I don't know about you, but I think it'll be interesting to hear Fantasia pull off a country song. Here is the article that I got the info from, which includes a hilarious link to a dance performance of "Baby Mama" and a song called "Janet Reno" by Anquette, a long-forgotten hip-hop girl group. The dancers are stuffed with pillows so they look pregnant and they throw/dance with babies!...well, they throw dolls, not actual babies.
Also, has anyone heard any confirmation of the rumors that "Addicted" will be the next official single by Kelly Clarkson? If she was going for another single, I was totally hoping for "Where is Your Heart?"
Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector is at a surprising 17% approval rating on RottenTomatoes.com. I say surprise because I had assumed it would get even lower. A few review excerpts:
"Team Cable Guy has made a junky, throwaway comedy that will almost certainly appeal to his fans, for at least the first half hour. Then it runs out of gas. Or jokes. The gas Larry seems to have in no short supply."
-- Roger Moore, ORLANDO SENTINEL
"Whenever Larry isn't pensively biting on his chaw, he's barking out obscene one-liners in a guttural, noxious stream of little nasty explosions. He's a greasy, oil-burning joke jalopy."
-- Mark Collette, TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH (TEXAS)
"Larry isn't an evil movie, but it is a symptom of the problems inherent in gross-out humor."
-- John Anderson, NEWSDAY
"It was only a matter of time before [Larry] got his own critic-proof movie."
-- Ken Fox, TV GUIDE'S MOVIE GUIDE
that idiot annoys me to no end and it's depressing to think that most people assume that all southerners find him funny. uggghhh.

Arctic Monkeys have revealed details surrounding their eagerly anticipated upcoming EP.
Following in the footsteps of Oasis, Razorlight and The Smiths, the band are putting out a brace of new material just months after the phenomenal success of their debut album 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'.
The 'Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys' EP will be released on April 24, led by the LP track 'The View From The Afternoon'.
The package will also feature the new songs 'Cigarette Smoker Fiona', 'From Despair To The Departure Lounge', 'No Buses' and 'Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys?'.
Joaquin Phoenix is fastly becomeing one of the most "in-demand" actors in Hollywood. He recieved his second academy award nomination earlier this year and won the Best Actor Golden Globe award for his portrayal of Johnny Cash in the film 'Walk The Line'.
Phoenix is currently working with Eva Mendes on the James Gray film 'We Own The Night'. But one of the big questions in Hollywood at the moment is whether or not Joaquin will take on the role of John Kelly (AKA Mr Clark) in the movie adaptation of the Tom Clancy novel 'Without Remorse'.
'Without Remorse' is one of the most successful spin-off book series in history and was highley acclaimed by critics. The character of John Kelly has previously been portrayed by Willem Dafoe and Liev Schreiber as minor characters in previous Tom Clancy films such as 'Patriot Games' and 'The Sum of All Fears'.
Until recently the impression in Hollywood was that Joaquin had already signed on to the project for a very hefty pay-cheque. But recent reports from waiting staff at a popular New York eatery have claimed that they witnessed one of the films producers "begging" Joaquin to come on board with the project, but Phoenix very firmly turned him down due to his un-willingness to become involved with a potential movie franchise.
The staff at the restaurant were under the impression that the project was not to go ahead unless Joaquin was involved, or else the academy award nominated director John Singleton was also out.
soooo, what do you think? should Joaquin risk taking this role which could reportedly shoot him to the top of the "Best Paid Actors list", but which could potentially type cast him as an action star (a la, Harrison Ford)....ooooor should he just ditch it and move on with his already expanding career?

A source adds, “She has no plans to let Brad have his attention focused on a younger woman on screen.”
Meanwhile, Variety is reporting that Paramount Pictures has stepped in and joined up with Brad Pitt's Plan B in order to adapt the novel The Every Boy. Plan B initially had a deal with Warner Bros but quickly exited to join Paramount.
The Every Boy-- written by Shapiro and published in July of 2005 --tells the story of the dead Henry Every, an eccentric teenager who leaves behind thousands of pages of diary entries that detail his unusual mindset and life experiences.
