Swedish indie-popsters Shout Out Louds are about to drop their latest album in North America and will support it with a coast-to-coast outing.
The band, which is currently touring Australia and Europe, will head to the States for the Oct. 6 Detour Festival in Los Angeles. From there, they'll play clubs and theaters all over the US and Canada through early November. Fellow Swedes Johnossi and California rock band Nico Vega will join in the fun. Dates are listed below.
The tour is presented by TankFarm Future Sounds, an outfit that helps up-and-coming acts gain visibility through monthly compilation CDs.
Shout Out Louds' sophomore album, "Our Ill Wills," has been released abroad and will make its way to North American shores Sept. 11. In the meantime, the band is working a five-song EP, "Tonight I Have To Leave It," which features a couple of remixes of the title track as well as a Pogues cover and a non-album track. The song "Tonight I Have To Leave It" is the first single off "Our Ill Wills" and is streaming at Shout Out Louds' MySpace page.
