I have wanted a film adaptation so long
Oh shit, I'd love that. I saw The Pillowman on Broadway when I was a teenager and it's really stuck with me.
This one is rough bc I love the actors involved but generally cannot stand Martin McDonagh's work. The trailer isn't bad, honestly, so I will probably end up watching, but I am prepared to be disappointed!
cries in McDonagh stan
I loved In Bruges back in the day but watched it and Three Billboard’s again recently (which I remembered having issues with originally) after a recent ONtD film post.

I adore black humour and movies where everyone is kind of comically awful and while parts of both films are great and the performances are absolutely excellent, there are bits which are just…lowest common denominator awful. Like the bits about little people in both films were so offensive and unfunny — I’d completely blocked them out. And the ‘racist with a heart of gold’ crap in 3Bs.

So I’m hoping he’s learnt a bit over the years because I think Gleeson and Colin are excellent together but don’t know if I can stomach being that disappointed in a movie again.
Seven Psychopaths is his best, I think
This looks so dumb but I’m here for it?
Same..I have a soft spot for Colin and I'm not sure why.
Because he’s been through hell and seems like a kind, sweet person?

I will give this a chance and will probably get burned.
What an... interesting premise. Oh to live in a lil Irish town like that!

Barry looks great in the trailer ngl.
Is this like a black or absurdist comedy? Either way looks good!

Although their age differences make their friendship look odd because of the huge gap lol.
> Dominic (Barry Keoghan)

My bet is both black and absurdist comedy.
I'm intrigued.
i understood more than i thought i would, but i'll still need subtitles if i watch this film
Comedy comedy comedy

Old man revels he has cancer, it's terminal, he was only trying to spare his friend.

I'm looking fwd to this. A sin what happened 😳
Colin as a himbo? My favorite Marty kind of film
As someone who was shitty and completely stopped talking to a friend just because I realized I'm always bored around them, I feel I must see this.

Not proud of how I handled that, but I guess it was mutual because I never heard from her again, either. LOL
Omg… I did this too…?

She was a former colleague then I thought we could be friends hm but I hung out with her 3x irl post her quitting

Then I just blocked her on instagram cos she contributes NOTHING of value to the conversation, to the culture, to my life

God she was boring she sucked the energy out of me??

I regret nothing
will watch this in bruges reunion
i came here to say now i wanna watch in bruges again
I saw the screencap and I thought omg an In Bruges sequel?!
On Netflix next week!
came to say this, that movie is so fucking funny omg. when he tells the americans they shouldnt go up the stairs at the castle i almost cried with laughing
Yay, I've been waiting so long for this ever since I first heard about it! Can't wait to watch Colin in something new.
So excited! This might be the film to get be back to the movie theatre!
