Santa Clause limited series ordered by Disney+

Tim Allen is set to star in a Santa Clause limited series at Disney+. It's set to begin filming in LA this March. The premise:

Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

This sounds cute. I love the Santa Clause 1&2. I hope they're able to bring a bunch of the old cast back. Maybe Charlie will get to be the new Santa.
The third movie sucked and so does Tim Allen but fuck, I'm excited anyway. And they better bring back Elizabeth Mitchell, damn it.

I still absolutely adore the first two movies and love Scott/Carol with every fiber of my being. And huh, did they have another baby after Buddy (which is what I'm hoping that means) or is Charlie included as one of the two kids who grew up in the North Pole?

They better bring back my Queen Elizabeth Mitchell.

She posted about the news on her Insta Stories a few hours ago so that seems like a pretty good sign!
Finding Santa.
Why did I see this and quickly thought this was a post about an old white man passing away?
Tim Allen is a piece so this is the perfect way to reach across the aisle lol
uh HUH 🙄
With Tim Allen? No thanks.
I vote we don't give Tim Allen any more money
Must we give Tim Allen more money?

You know it sucks that he turned out to be such a shithead. Home Improvement was such a big part of my childhood. I’m so glad the actress who played Jill isn’t a shithead. She’s lovely.

If I do check this out it will Soli be for Elizabeth Mitchell. I sat through Once Upon of Time for her so I can get through this for her.

This is off topic, but since you mentioned Jill NOT being a shit head... you know who is? The woman who played Deborah on Everybody Loves Raymond. I was such a big fan of hers, even when The Middle first started... Then, she started with her anti-birth control shit. I haven't even seen the last few seasons because she'd make me so mad when she was on the screen, I couldn't enjoy it.
I remember being so upset when I found out about Patricia Heaton because I was a fan, too.
Yeah I was recently rewatching everybody loves Raymond and I googled her and, well, yikes

She turned out to be such a shit and lord it’s all over the place too.

I had no idea she was awful! That’s so disappointing. I grew up watching Raymond and the middle is one of my favorite shows 😬
Omg what is queen Jill up to??? Let me go Google her.

I love home improvement, I’m sad it’s not streaming anywhere as far as I know. It was actually a show that I watched back as an adult and it still made me genuinely laugh. I liked that their relationship seemed very loving and real, too. Like when I would watch Everybody Loves Raymond or King of Queens, sometimes it seemed like those couples didn’t even like each other at all lmao

I'm sad Tim Allen is such a jackass, because I LOVE Home Improvement
I loved these movies when I was a kid, so I wanted to watch them this Christmas. I couldn’t make myself watch them because Tim Allen’s a piece of shit
I hate Tim Allen so much and hate how he's ruined what used to be my absolute fave Christmas movies to watch

Why do they keep attaching him to projects anyway
same. the santa clause used to be the one christmas movie that i would never miss, but i haven't watched it in like 3 years because i just can't deal with him. toy story is easier since i don't have to look at him.
I remember seeing I think 3, but I never saw the first 2, so I just have no frame of reference. Is this something people have deep nostalgia for as a whole?*

3 basically has the same plot as Shrek 4 😂
