Apple tvs ridiculously expensive adaption of Issac Asimov's Foundation series debuted last week, with episode 3 premiering on Friday. Bear Mccreay is doing the score
The galactic empire is ruled by three clones of Cleon I, with each being different ages. Lee pace stars as Brother Day, the middle clone. Episode 3 has the ascension of the newest clone as the focal point of first half of the episode. Book readers will note the significant changes made to Asimov's original work, with the triumvirate clone emperors being one such change.
I think the clone storyline is the most compelling story so far. The absence of Gaal this week really does show why these books were so unfilmable. I had just started to like her so her absence hung over the ep like a shadow. Or maybe ghost.
