‘Controlling Britney Spears’: 10 Things We Learned From New Doc

Alex Vlasov, a former Black Box Security employee who said he worked with the singer’s team for nearly nine years, said the company “mirrored” the pop singer’s phone on an iPad by logging in to her iCloud account. A listening device was also placed in her bedroom.

Yemini “had an audio recording device put into Britney’s bedroom,” Vlasov says. The device captured more than 180 hours of audio in 2016, including conversations between Britney and her then-boyfriend as well as her children, he claims. Vlasov also said that Yemini brought him the recording device and a USB drive and asked him to “wipe it.”

“They seemed very nervous and said that it was extremely sensitive, that nobody can ever know about this and that’s why I need to delete everything on it so there’s no record of it,” he says. “That raised so many red flags for me, and I did not want to be complicit in whatever they were involved in, so I kept a copy because I don’t want to delete evidence. And I don’t think it was a coincidence it was done days before she was due to meet with a court investigator.”

Britney's dad told Fe during The Circus Tour that Britney never wanted her on the tour, and for her not to go on the European leg of the tour. Fe assumed that for whatever reason Britney was mad at her, and decided to avoid Britney at all costs during the tour. Jamie told her to make sure of that. She avoided Britney for most of the tour until one day she accidentally was seen by Britney. She ran up to Fe and hugged her, asking where she had been. That's when Fe realized that the people around her had tried turning them against one another, because Britney's new inner circle didn't trust Fe.

When former employees Alex Vlasov confronted Britney's head of security, Edan Yemini, about the lack of ethics behind monitoring Britney's phone and everything that security did over the years, Yemini allegedly put his gun on the table and asked Alex, "So you don't like how I run my business?"

Through a lawyer, Edan denied that incident happened.

A lawyer for Black Box Security President Edan Yemini, said, "Mr. Yemini and Black Box have always conducted themselves within professional, ethical and legal bounds, and they are particularly proud of their work keeping Ms. Spears safe for many years."
