DC Tv roundup: Titans 3x09/Exit, Doom Patrol returns, Supergirl promo and more!

-Titans 3x09 is now streaming on HBO Max and with it sees the return of Raven who hasnt been seen since the S2 finale.

-The episode also features Donna Troy, Tim Drake, Hank Hall, and Bruce Wayne.

-Alan Ritchson who previously played Aquaman on Smallville and transitioned over to Hawk makes his final appearance in Titans today after being killed off earlier in the season.

-He was not expecting to leave the show anytime soon as he heard how popular the character was and he liked how the schedule was manageable with his personal life.

-He originally joined the show for 2 episodes and was contracted for a Hawk/Dove spin off that never materialized despite Titans being a huge success. Instead he was integrated into the main cast and had a 4 year contract for the show.

-He was made aware that he was being killed off while he was vacationing in Malibu with his wife and was told that they needed to slim down the cast.

-Luckily he landed the main role of Jack Reacher on Amazon shortly after learning of his fate on Titans

-The first 3 episodes of Doom Patrol are officially streaming on Hbo max as of today!

-Debuts in January on Hbo Max

-SUPERGIRL MUST PASS THE TEST OF COURAGE - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team race Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) for control of a magical totem that controls courage. Supergirl and Nyxly battle and each get a piece of the totem but learn the first person to pass the test of courage will gain control of the entire thing. Meanwhile, Lena (Katie McGrath) is still struggling to make sense of her newfound gift. The episode was directed by Tawnia McKiernan with story by Dana Horgan and teleplay by Jay Faerber & Brooke Pohl (613). Original airdate 9/28/2021.

-SECOND CHANCES — With his world crashing down around him, Rick (Cameron Gellman) focuses his attention on protecting Solomon Grundy after learning hunters are after a bear in the woods. Meanwhile, Beth (Anjelika Washington) becomes the target of Eclipso’s (Nick Tarabay) latest plan. Brec Bassinger, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart and Trae Romano also star. Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by Steve Harper (208). Original airdate 9/28/2021.
