Helen Wan’s Novel ‘Partner Track’ Gets Netflix Series Order Starring Arden Cho

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Arden Cho will star in Helen Wan’s, ‘Partner Track’, series adaptation for Netflix.

The series is about Ingrid Yun, “an idealistic young lawyer, who struggles with her moral compass and her passions as she fights to climb the partner track at an elite New York City law firm.”

Ingrid is described as an idealistic, whip-smart, kind and eager fighter who desires to be the first Asian American junior partner at Parsons Valentine, an elite law firm in Manhattan.

Georgia Lee and Sarah Goldfinger will be the showrunners. Netflix is committed to shoot 10 episodes and filming will take place in New York.

I don't like legal dramas but I wanna support her so I will be watching.
I'm still mad at how dirty the show did Kira and ESPECIALLY Scott and Kira - a cute, dorky battle couple that was interracial WITHOUT white people involved! They were perfect for each other 😭

I was a big Scott/Allison fan for the first two seasons but I really grew to like Kira and I’m sad they did her so dirty!
they really went through it and while I'm not exactly mad that Chris and Melissa ended up together - given the circumstances - I REALLY wish 6B had been a lowkey 'dealing with the trauma' type season - ala Steven Universe future - where there was at least a Scott/Chris convo about 'hey, sorry I was literally prejudiced and tried to kill you for loving my daughter and now I'm an ally dating your mom. that's weird right?'

Teen wolf needed a moment to breathe and access and to have, like, a literal beach episode dammit

literally the way that show screwed over all of it's characters of color never ceases to amaze me

I loved Kira!!
honestly i really liked scott with allison and kira and they treated them both like garbage
i LOVED scott/allison originally, but i felt like arden/tyler had great chemistry and really made me root for the couple. i thought the characters were really well-suited to each other also. kira's backstory/supernatural stuff was probably the most interesting of any of the non-original characters, and it was frustrating that the character and the actress were basically paid dust

has there ever been a legal drama set in a non-profit? there's just already been so many legal dramas at firms/police depts/gov, at least that would be different.

that said i like arden cho so i'll probably watch eventually.
there was a show on for a couple of seasons that had 3 young lawyers working at SDNY and three young lawyers working as public defenders and the respective bosses were in love with each other in a we-mutually-agree-that-nothing-will-ever-come-of-this kind of way but tragically it was cancelled.
Good Trouble
Proven Innocent, I can’t remember if it was a nonprofit or not. But the premise was a woman who was wrongfully convicted of murder and became a lawyer and they take on cases.
Rooting for her, TW did her so dirty.
i remember from when she was on youtube. good for ha
bwhahahhaa - "I’m so excited!!!! ✨My mom & dad are so proud, I’m finally a lawyer!!! 🤩"
I was so pissed when they brought back THEO for the final season of Teen Wolf but not Kira that I didn't watch.
Yay rooting for her!!
if it's anything like all rise (aka a low stakes show with lots of non-white actors), i will probably watch
she's gorgeous.
I keep forgetting she's mid-30s, I could've sworn she was about 10 years younger.

lmao right. itsjustnotrealistic.gif
Omg she's so pretty. Tbh I am not gonna be watching this, the only show about lawyers I have ever liked is Better Call Saul, but I am rooting for her success!!!
not really into legal dramas, but good luck to her! is she still dating ryan higa?
Good for her! I watched a video on her channel once with Justin H. Min about the struggles with auditions and rejections, and I’ve been rooting for her.
