I’m so sorry and I hope you and your family are able to find peace and comfort in the time to come. I lost my dad to cancer last year at 69, and I understand what it feels like to have that “missing piece” feeling.

Sending you so much love and strength. If you need to talk or vent please reach out. And if there's anything we can do, please let us know.

My condolences.

(Really hope those 3 laughing reactions are misclicks.)
OMG RIP!! This is honestly shocking!! He was still relatively good friends with that 90s SNL cast.

he went the fuck IN on oj to the point where it cost him his job because nbc's west coast head was besties with oj. trash.

rip to norm!!
This. Took. BALLS.
I will always respect him for this

RIP Norm.
His delivery of "well it's official. Murder is legal in the state of California" will always send me.
SNL doesn't have the balls (and they'll never have the ovaries) to be so bold politically now, they're a fcking joke and I guess they've always been if they fired him for this

He kinda reminds me of Christian Slater here?

Once I got through his seasons of SNL, I found him so handsome and likeable as a Weekend Update anchor like Seth Meyers. I remember reading up about how this got him fired and I saw Molly Shannon post and delete a tweet Norm posted publicly saying he loved her and appreciated that she was the only one who stood up for him in the midst of everything. May he rest in peace.

if you watch any Norm video make it this one tbh (changed it to part two bc the user above me posted part one so watch them both!)
Audio only but when he came back to host he went in also during his monologue lolol:

lmao he was fired for such a bullshit reason, so i'm glad that he was able to make fun of the network. i didn't really like colin quinn as update anchor, but i liked how he acknowledged norm's leaving at the beginning of his first segment

Oooomg this was amazing. Ugh I'm so sad now 😥
RIP
RIP, cancer fucking sucks.
This is so sad. Weird that Artie Lange is still going strong and Norm isn't.
honestly my first thought was I can't believe artie outlived norm
Artie Lange has nine lives, I swear
Absolutely iconic voice. RIP.

Cancer is such a fuckwad. To be beating it for 9 years and then for it to still take you out... ugh. My aunt was in remission from ovarian for 9 or 10 years until it came back and took her within a year. My mom was in remission for less than a year before we knew hers came back and had metastasized and she was dead in a week.

If I could eliminate one illness from the earth it would definitely be cancer. It's such a fucking bitch. My heart goes out to anyone dealing with it.
Aw, Norm. He was the best at nailing punchlines.

I know the WHM guys are taking this hard, you can definitely tell his influence in their comedy.
Yeah I learned about this from Eric's tweet.
Same, him and Andrew's tweets one after the other when I checked twitter waking up, absolute shocker
damn :( RIP
RIP turd ferguson :(
So shocked to hear this. RIP.

A family friend was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. It is stage 3 and has already spread to her lymph nodes. She has scans this week to see if it is anywhere else. Fuck cancer so hard.
I like to imagine him walking up to Alex Trebek in heaven wearing a big funny hat and insisting on being called Turd Ferguson.
