I want to do a full re-watch of the show from the beginning, I intended to do that before season 6 but I thought it was later in September.

[Spoiler (click to open)]I enjoyed the last season, my biggest issue with the show as always that the celestial stuff took a back seat to the procedural. Ever since the move to Netflix they've balanced it better and this last season I think was the best in terms of that balance since Chloe was away from the police. They I will agree with an above comment about the shoe horned in commentary about police brutality after ignoring it for so long.

I'm honestly very much ok with the finale, I do think the explanation for the time loop made no sense but time travel is always messy and writers rarely get it right. I wish they had at least came up with a better reason for preserving the time loop. However the bittersweet ending kinda fit with how I always saw the show ending. You either had Lucifer becoming mortal, Chloe becoming celestial or they stay together in the afterlife after Chloe dies and I'm ok with it and that they are now forever partners. And the writers made comments about how Chloe can go up to Heaven to visit others and will of course still see Rory and one day Trixie.

And I was very content with everyone else's ending.

I do think it was crap Trixie wasn't at Chloe's deathbed, or really anyone else, I get the focus being on Rory in that scene but Trixie is Chloe's daughter too. And I do think the show has overall been somewhat good about not ignoring her existence so that was jarring. I also wouldn't have minded to take a peak into Trixie's future too.

My head canon is that Trixie was on Mars and achieved her goal of being the first president 😂
The actress who plays Trixie was doing other projects and with the covid constraints with staffing and budget, they left out Trixie a bit in this season. They also said they wanted to bring back a lot of older characters but because of covid couldn't. They would've had to add another new actress in because Trixie would've been in her 50s at that point lol
The emotional acting was off the charts this season. I was very satisfied with the ending.

I've been enjoying all the BTS stuff the cast and crew has been posting as well as these interviews. Lauren doesn't do too many so it was nice to see her and Tom doing a bunch of these together for the ending of the show.

I started it, but was out of town over the weekend.

I don't really get the Lucifer/Chloe ship, but I enjoy the show. He's still keeping things to himself and not telling her when stuff happens — he just doesn't seem like a good partner some of the time.

I'm not sure how I feel about Rory or why they created the character.
Ok so I'm not 100% on the lore of this show, but [Spoiler (click to open)] I was surprised when Rory legit turned out to be Luicfer and Chloe's daughter... how's that work them having a hispanic child?
are you confusing her with chloe's daughter from her marriage to dan, maybe?
[Spoiler (click to open)] no, the kid from deadpool is mexican on her mom's side. I don't know maybe they didn't know

emotional finale with satisfaction endings for everyone
was hoping dan wouldnt be on tjis season cos i just cant deal with the actor but he is ugh. ill spoil myself and pick which eps to watch.
You can just skip through his scenes but you might miss some important plot stuff because he does interact with the celestial characters on here.
I didn’t like the ending at first but it’s grown on me and I think I’m ok with it now.

My biggest complaint about season 6 is the lack of Trixie. I know the actress is busy, but I wish they could have included her more.
Yeah with scheduling and Covid constraints, Scarlett wasn't available much to play Trixie which sucked.
I’m so glad this is done and I can stop watching! Now do Grey’s Anatomy!

I thought this season was definitely better than last season, but Lauren’s acting is still terrible, and the time travel stuff was bad (as is most time travel in TV episodes). I really thought they forgot Trixie existed this season, but the scene with her and Dan was nice.

I did like that everyone got happy endings.
The first half of the final season bugged the hell out of me and none of this spoilers make me happy. Guess I'm staying away.
as someone that doesn't care about lucifer, chloe or lucifer/chloe, these last few seasons have been a struggle to get through, especially this one, which was 90% just them and their relationship.

i always liked maze and linda the best, both separately and together, and it felt like they ripped all the fun out of maze a few seasons ago and her relationship with eve was so underdeveloped, while linda has barely had anything to do for a while
i was excited to see it was on the other day, and started watching. didn't realize how much i'd forced myself to watch scenes whenever chloe's in them.

jesus christ, she cannot act. i couldn't get through 2 episodes. i haven't read spoilers bc i really wanna finish but JESUS. nothing got better - not the acting, not the writing, not the lame, predictable, shitty mini-plots...idk how to get through it. i haven't gone from loving to hating a show so quickly since s6 of supernatural
