Someone paid over $2,500 for a slice of Princess Diana's wedding cakehttps://t.co/x6S9YPsFl1— TODAY (@TODAYshow) August 12, 2021
Today In "Lex Luthor did not steal 40 cakes" news, It was one of four slices of cake from Princess Diana and Prince Charles' wedding (Where there were 23 wedding cakes!) nearly 40 years ago. It was owned by someone who worked for the Queen Mother and took a piece for others to enjoy...and no one did.
It's been kept in good (well, good for an old piece of cake) condition by being wrapped and stored in a cake box.
It is not suggested for consumption, but at least it comes with a nifty letter and a bottle of beer.
No word from Piers Morgan on how this is Meghan's fault.
How much would you pay for a unique souvenir? Would you eat old food?
