Broadway actress Laura Osnes fired from show after refusing to get vaccinated



  • Laura Osnes of Broadway and Lifetime movie fame was fired from a local, one-night only production of Crazy For You at the Guild Hall in East Hampton for not being vaccinated

  • The theatre requires all of its staff and performers to be vaccinated or present negative Covid tests, but Osnes, who describes herself as a Christian conservative, reportedly doesn't trust the vaccine

  • Osnes's co-star Tony Yazbeck confronted her about the matter because he has 2 young children at home

  • Actors' Equity and Broadway theatres have similar guidelines requiring actors to be vaccinated, so I'm guessing we will not see Osnes return to the great white way any time soon

  • Sierra Boggess will replace Osnes in this production
