"Several Black TikTokers have complained to the platform about receiving very little financial compensation while their white counterparts–who use Black culture, are making thousands..."https://t.co/hW6QSTndrf
Black Tiktokers, tired of being ignored and underpaid for trends they created (after appealing to the platform about the poor compensation they've received in comparison to their white counterparts), have stopped making dancing videos on the popular platform.
This decision has left the Mykelyas and C'hazes floundering - literally. They have been left serving us their greatest attempts at roadside inflatable noodle people.

I am here for the #BlackTikTokStrike. White TikTokers have stolen dance trends on TikTok that were created by Black TikTokers & have made thousands of dollars, & have never given the original black creators credit. I say, let the strike last all summer!— An Opinionated Qween (@opinionqween) June 23, 2021
