Official trailer for Netflix's new animated series “Trese”





Set in a Manila where the mythical creatures of Philippine folklore live in hiding amongst humans, Alexandra Trese finds herself going head to head with a criminal underworld comprised of malevolent supernatural beings. Based on the award-winning Filipino comic by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo, TRESE brings horror folklore like you've never heard before.

Starring Liza Soberano and Shay Mitchell as titular character Alexandra Trese, the series premieres June 11 on Netflix.

The full Filipino voice cast include: Liza Soberano, Simon dela Cruz, Apollo Abraham, Christopher Carlo Caling, Eugene Adalia, Cheska Aguiluz, Christian Velarde, Bryan Encarnacion, Nica Rojo, Jo Anne Orobia-Chua, Jose Amado Santiago, Steve dela Cruz, Rene Tandoc, Steffi Graf Bontogon-Mola, RJ Celdran, Elyrey Martin, and Steven Bontogon.

I am so excited for this! This is a very popular and acclaimed series that was widely-read in my high school and seeing this comic go from an indie, sleeper hit to Netflix is so amazing. Please watch this!!!!!
