Ridiculous Starbucks Drink Orders Go Viral

It started when a Starbucks barista (Josie) shared a very detailed drink order he made on May 1st. He captioned the image with, “On todays episode of why i wanna quit my job.” Ashley Nicole Black from HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show responded, “I knew it had to be an app order. No one would order that out loud making eye contact.”

ONTD, what do you order at SBux? 👀

My go to is a soy chai latte, no water. It's pretty damn good and it's something I wouldn't make for myself at home. Oh, and I also love the honey citrus mint tea.

I haven't had Starbucks nearly as much during the pandemic though, since I'm working from home and not driving past one (or more) every day. There used to be two in walking distance but one closed so now the other one is always packed and I can't be bothered to deal with it.
These people don’t get paid or appreciated enough for customized drinks.

Never worked in the food industry, but damn do I appreciate them. The shit that happens in retail, I cannot imagine the food industry.
Its like working retail but on crack. People are entitled and rude in general but then throw on top of it that they're hungry it just sucks.
I stopped getting Starbucks awhile ago but overall don’t really bother with these types of drinks in general. So many unnecessary calories, I’d rather just eat something delicious than drink something with so many calories at that point.
I'd never buy shit from starbucks. I don't even like paying a dollar for coffee at mcdonalds....speaking of which, When I worked briefly at a fast food place, we had a usual customer who would come in and order fries but request NO salt which meant we had to throw away what we had prepared and make it from scratch for him. Then he would dump a ton of salt on the fries as he was leaving....he would do that to ensure he didn't get cold fries. It was fucking annoying but hey, it worked.

I hear about that hack all the time. It sucks that food is being wasted.
sooo much food was wasted at the grocery store I worked at. My poor ass at the time wanted to take it home since it was gonna go in the trash anyway but we weren't allowed to.

I hate salted fries and mcdonald's always over salts them. But I have never done this because I know it would cause more work for the employees.

All these competing flavours in one cup (raspberry, cinnamon, kiwi, toffee, peppermint)...sounds absolutely disgusting.
I only started drinking Starbucks in the past two years because i’m super depressed and want sugar sometimes lol
i never go to starbucks except maybe like once or twice a year. i usually only get a refresher too.

you might as well get something better for the amount of sugar and calories in those drinks.

they would literally make me shit my brains out.
Omg, people are crazy.

Starbucks coffee tastes like shit. I like black coffee so I never go there bc theirs is so burnt. But their sugary drinks are delicious for a treat, esp the frappuccinos. I haven't had one in a long time.
I tend to only get 1 of 2 things.

1. Iced Chai Latte, +2 pumps Toffee Nut
2. Iced White Chocolate Mocha, +2 pumps Toffe Nut and Caramel drizzle on the inside
Both with light ice, because I want more drink than ice thank you very much.

I've tried literally every single other item on the menu one by one and I mostly disliked everything else so it's only those two.
I always feel like an asshole when I order like, any changes on my drink even though my barista friends reassure me it’s fine. One of my best friends has worked at Starbucks for 10+ years and always shows me the craziest orders. I couldn’t do it lmao
My order is SLIGHTLY complicated, but not like this.

I get a venti (sometimes trenta) iced coffee. No classic (syrup). Sugar Free Cinnamon Dulce syrup. Heavy cream for milk.
I can barely ask for no foam so these are crazy.

During lockdown I also realized I could just buy the syrups and add them to my nespresso drinks. Game changer!

I have 6 bottles of Torani syrup coming tomorrow - I splurged cause fuck lockdown and my province - and I'm legit excited.
I ordered a couple bottles of Torani last year to make my own boba drinks and I have like 90% of it left and I think they expire in December, oooooops.
How did making your own boba turn out?
Ever since I found out the tea I drink from SBux (Tazo Passion tea) is sold in stores, I just make big gallon pitchers at home. I couldn’t imagine ordering that diabetic coma they call a drink order.
Those orders look ridiculous. All you taste is sugar from the looks of it. My favorite order from a customer is a popover but take the eggs out. My supervisor had to explain to the customer that the eggs are already mixed into the batter of the popover so we can't do that lmao.
It turns out that you live long enough and stand in enough "classy" fast food joint lines, you will eventually hear: "Do you have gluten-free croissants?"
That dragon fruit lemonade one is fake a fuck. No one is ordering dragon fruit lemonade with peppermint & raspberry syrup + all the other shit. Someone just wanted attention.
