Ridiculous Starbucks Drink Orders Go Viral

It started when a Starbucks barista (Josie) shared a very detailed drink order he made on May 1st. He captioned the image with, “On todays episode of why i wanna quit my job.” Ashley Nicole Black from HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show responded, “I knew it had to be an app order. No one would order that out loud making eye contact.”

In my Starbucks days the most annoying drink I had to make was a extra hot, extra bone dry soy cappucino. The customer was a regular and she only liked how I and another barista made it. The drink had to be almost weightless or she would return it.
With soy??? Ugh.

At my first store we had a regular who ordered a non fat, completely bone dry cappuccino with shots on top. She was actually a very sweet lady but I was like... How do you even drink this?!? I'd often be running shifts with all green beans and I'd have to just hop onto bar 2 and make it or else it would hold up the line for ages. (I would show them how to make it when it was slower but yikes some baristas could never get it down.)

Yup I would try to train someone else to make it just like she liked it but they couldn't get the bubbles tight enough. Making soy foam is a pain in the ass.

But these all sound disgusting on top of the effort? Both in making the order and creating!! Clicking all that shit in the app for a Starbucks equivalent on pouring all the McDonalds sodas in one cup?? Huh?

Also hate to be a coffee snob, but Starbucks drinks always taste so thin and chemically to me.

It does to me too. I only get it if it’s the only coffee around me bc on a scale of how much coffee do you drink 1 to 10, I am a Lorelai Gilmore 🙈
The amounts of sugar 😷🤢🤮
I go to Dunks. medium iced hazelnut, 3 cream 1 sugar, less ice.
Starbucks tried to enter the market here in Australia but failed so hard. There are only a handful of surviving stores left. I don't know anyone who goes there and I find this so fascinating. Why wouldn't you just go get a milkshake? Like...
there are three in such close proximity to each other in sydney cbd and they are always busy???? it’s truly baffling lol
might as well just ask for diabetes in a cup 🤢
my partner's too embarrassed to order a frapp in person so idk how these people have the gall to collect these monstrosities in person
Oh goodness, I honestly felt guilty when I'd order a standard Frappuccino when they had those $2 deals (yes it's not real coffee but I was broke and 18 lol). I still like them but I just make some at home if I really want one

since it's hard for me to take coffee breaks to local shops at the hospital where I work, I just resort to ordering an Americano and mosey on back to my desk
are Americans ok
This just makes me think of that idiot Christian Walker and his daily and ridiculous drive through Starbucks order before his car rants.

I am working on making iced coffee at home. I thrifted a Nespresso and then I have some cold brew concentrate for Trader Joe's for regular coffee. I've been working on making a good iced caramel macchiato! I might try and make a frappuccino next. I think I might like milder coffee because I bought darker roasts and they were too bitter. Also the Starbucks by me is only doing drive thru right now, but it's shared with Chipotle drive through and I am not patient enough to wait for that. I also found out I really don't like milk alternatives... I do like Fairlife's lactose free milk though. I also bought Chai concentrate so I can try iced chai lattes!
How tf does that even fit in the cup? 5 bananas and extra ice, there's going to be barely enough room for the milk.
Looking at these ingredients, there's so much shit I didn't even know they had. This is nuts.

I'll stick with my occasional plain old matcha latte.
that's not coffee anymore

I get a Grande Medicine Ball (Honey Citrus Mint Tea), extra lemonade, no honey blend, extra honey packets and I'm good.

I can't have all that sugar ever again. It'll kill me. Some of these images made me nauseous just reading the orders. 🤢
I just get a caramel latte 😶
