Disneyland Guests Cry as Park Reopens After Yearlong Closure https://t.co/nKosnziwqY— TMZ (@TMZ) April 30, 2021
California’s Disneyland reopened over the weekend (Friday) after being closed for 412 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Disneyland capped attendance at 25% for California residents only, but some of those who were able to attend the opening weren’t able to hold back the tears. But it wasn’t just guests, some employees were in tears as the park reopened.
Disneyland will allow groups no larger than three per household and there will be temperature checks. Guests ages 2 and older are required to wear face masks and there will be no hugs with costumed characters anytime soon.
There will also be no parades and the nightly fireworks displays have been put on hold to prevent crowds.
ONTD, are you planning on visiting a theme park this Summer / year?
