Brad Pitt Once Worried His "Pretty Boy" Image Would Hurt His Career https://t.co/Azn8bU3aqM— E! News (@enews) April 16, 2021
Brad Pitt is the protagonist of all-new E! True Hollywood Story, which airs Apr. 18
He had his breakout role in the hit film Thelma & Louise, but he didn't just want to be known for his good looks.
He allegedly feared the role would limit his career.
Kalifornia director Dominic Sena teases:
"He had just finished A River Runs Through It and he felt between that and Thelma & Louise, he was concerned about being typecast as a pretty boy." "He just said he was looking for something completely different and I thought, 'Boy have I got a role for you'."
Pitt even was fully into character, which impressed Sena. "Brad Pitt arrived in the morning, went into the trailer, and he came out as Early Grayce and that was that," he concludes.
