Ratings are in for the first 6 months of the new season of Ms Toxic Workplace Ellen DeGerneres's talk show and they are not good!!
The show is now averging 2.6 million viewers an episode, a 43% decline and a loss of 1.1 million viewers from last year. The shows core audience, adult women unde 54, has dropped 38%. The show has also lost $26 million (20%) in ad revenue.
While ratings for daytime talk shows are down across the board, none have fared as badly as Ellen. Dr. Phil is only down 22%, Kelly Clarkson 26%, Kelly and Ryan 3%, and Tamron Hall 9%.
The show has been renewed for a 19th season, but its unclear if it will be its last.
