16-yeah-old Vivian (Hadley Robinson) gets through the sexist and toxic environment of her highschool by keeping her head down to not be on anybodys radar. Until she can't take it anymore. Inspired by her mothers rebellious teenage years (and I'm lead to believe by the trailer maybe by another student (Alycia Pascual-Pena) proudly keeping her head high) she starts anonymously publishing a zine to fight the status quo and sparks a school wide revolution.
Based on the novel by Jennifer Mathieu. Directed by Amy Poehler.
Coming to Netflix worldwide on March 3.
First post, I hope I did everything right.
Trailer looks like full of awesome teenage girl friendships, if it delivers on that I'm very much here for it.
