Demi Lovato took to social media today to announce that she's been invited to perform at President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris's Celebrating America event, to be held on Inauguration Day (January 20).
The announcement comes days after the "Commander in Chief" singer-songwriter made headlines for her impassioned reaction to the attack on the US Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump, during which she seemed to tease new music. "This cannot happen any fucking more," she tweeted, "I'm in the studio working on something special after today's assault on democracy."
