Morbius moves to October; other delays may be coming too

Sad new friends, you won't get to see Jared Leto as vampire/Spider-Man villain Morbius in March. Sony pushed the film to October 8 because covid continues wrecking havoc with no end in sight. The film was originally scheduled to be released last July.

Expect other major releases set during the first half of the year to be delayed or given a hybrid release as well if things don't improve fast, especially those in March and April.

A Dutch theater owner has reported that No Time to Die is moving from its April release to November. MGM has yet to confirm.

When Kevin Fiege was asked about Black Widow keepings its current date he stated "Confidence is meaningless [...] Don't ask me week by week what is going to happen in this world, I have no idea and don't want to guess."

Dr. Fauci recently stated that if things goes right with the vaccine that herd immunity will occur sometime in the fall, so we are still a long ways to go before the entertainment business as a whole can get back to normal.
