Tanya Roberts, whose death at age 65 was announced prematurely, is revealed to have died from complications from a UTI.
The actress had been hospitalized for a urinary tract infection that spread to her kidneys and gallbladder. Though its rare to die from a UTI, it is possible to die from complications resulting from it, such as in Tanya's case where the UTI caused sepsis.
