On the first lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend, Grosjean's car hit another car and went into the barrier, causing a huge explosion. His car split right in half.
Luckily, he was able to jump out of the car and escape the flames. He's now recovering in the hospital, with minor burns on his hands and ankles.
He seems to be in good spirits and has posted multiple videos with updates and to thank fans for their well wishes.
