Scream 5 will be titled "Scream," just like the first film in the franchise. Obviously Twitter had a lot of feelings about this.
They've already wrapped filming.

“The killer, the main killer, will not have the ultra-white mask. There’s something else involved, and it’s not the white mask!” ......Note the use of "the main killer" — stans are already expecting multiple killers.
Scream 5 will "hit theatres" on January 14, 2022. (Will it though? In these COVID times? Hence my quotation marks.)
