PRODUCE SERIES SURVIVAL K-POP SHOW SCANDAL

Once popular South Korean reality survival K-Pop TV show, Produce (pronounced like grocery 'produce' for some reason) Series, is revealed to have manipulated results in all 4 seasons of the show.



Contestants votes were manipulated at different stages of voting rounds, eliminating certain 'trainees' despite their true placements in the show would have made them safe.

Most notably, Baek Ho/DongHo of Nu'est (season 2), Gauen (ex-After school) & Chowon (Cube trainee) (both season 3) all were truthfully ranked high enough to debut with their respective seasons' winners.

The last season's winners (X1, 11 member boy group) were all forced to disband months after they debuted, because of blatant evidence of manipulation of the results before all contracts were even finalized for their 5 year promotion as a group.

Season 3 winners (Iz*One, 12 member girl group), continued promotions and are still active until their contracts ends sometime in 2021.
Both Season 1 & 2 winners finished their contracts before the scandal was revealed.
