Welp. A very weird chapter in Hollywood has come to an end. Keith Ranier, the founder of a cult called NXIVM, has been sentenced to 120 years in prison and a fine of $1.75 million.
As the leader of NXIVM, Raniere sex-trafficked multiple women. He sought out actresses like Allison Mack, Grace Park, and Catherine Oxenberg. Part of their indoctrination included being [content warning]branded on their hips and raped by Raniere. The cult was documented in the recent HBO documentary "The Vow."
