You know what? I'll fire up The Sims 2 tomorrow. It's a lot of willpower that I don't have right now. I'm just gonna take my dogs out and lay in bed. I don't want to sit in front of my computer. Thanks to my job, I hardly wanna sit in front of my computer.

Maybe I should look into a wireless keyboard and mouse. Suggestions?

It’s weird how sitcoms in the 80s did those Very Special Episodes - it never happens now. I’m watching The Golden Girls and Rose has to do a blood test to see if she has HIV.

I like how every show in the 80s and 90s had a very special episode about drugs. Even Golden Girls had one with Rose being addicted to painkillers.

Oh yeah, like when Alex started taking speed to study on Family Ties. I feel like these days sitcoms are too afraid to express any kind of opinion on anything. It’s sad, really, seeing how much more progressive 80s sitcoms were. The Golden Girls did homelessness, teen pregnancy, euthanasia, even that one where Dorothy had chronic fatigue syndrome. 30+ years ago they were telling us how women get dismissed by medical professionals.
