Disney Parks fans hating Bob Chapek give me all the life.
The only descent one in this whole Disney affair seems to be Josh D'Amaro.
I know this song is problematic, but it's so nostalgic for me
Omg I still love this song so much it reminds me of childhood
getting drunk off craft beer, watching Ever After, and working on my paint-by-numbers

um this sounds amazing! I wish I could find Ever After on Hulu/Netflix bc I don't have Prime lol
i'm watching challenger: the final flight, and it's surreal listening to this much info. i'm old enough to remember NASA being all the rage in the 90s (also i lived in houston, so many trips to space center houston), but since i was born in 89, of course i didn't know much about the challenger even in school. i just knew that it happened and that was kind of it?

same with the challenger, tbh. i had totally forgotten about it until now and i was 13 when it happened.
I want to watch that bc like you, I just knew that it happened and nothing else, really. But I thought it'd probably be too sad... what do you think?

it's not sad at all. it's more...bittersweet? family members, partners, and the original engineers for challenger are talking about the individual astronauts, which are interspersed with videos and interviews from 1970s up to launch. you get a real sense of how excited they were, especially christa mcauliffe. it also goes into not only what went wrong, but how it went wrong. it's a good doc and not a tearjerker (or not now, at least. i'm on episode 3).

I watched the whole thing a week ago and I ended up feeling so sad for the rest of the day, even a bit the day after. Seeing all the crew members getting interviewed, their excitement, their plans for when they got back. Ugh. It hurt and it's specially heartbreaking to watch how the entire accident could've been avoided.

I was also born in 89 and watched it recently. I found out my mom was at a ski resort is Austria when it happened and was told about it but they had no TV or anything.
The challenger disaster is the kind of event that gives me so much anxiety. Like the idea of everyone being so excited for this event and the whole country was watching, particularly children in classrooms everywhere, and then it ends in tragedy on live TV. It's the kind of thing that makes me worry that a disaster is about to strike if I start to feel like things are going well.
Anyone playing Among Us? My friend asked me to download it and I saw a few Twitch streams of it. Looks ridiculous.
Yes, many times. Its lots of fun.
It looks so fun! I'm gonna play with my friends next week when I get my computer

Almost 13.5K people have already voted in Multnomah County... Ballots only mailed out Wednesday.
Why is it that I am cold all day in my house but when it’s time for bed, it’s hot as hell. I like to cocoon myself in my blanket so this hotness needs to eff off.
i open the window as wide as possible. i need that cold air so i can cocoon
I really thought the pumpkin on top of these peanut butter cups were edible... They were not.

The chocolate shop also had gummy candy corn that I bought and OMG they are so fucking good.
what was it made out of?
Paper.
aw i'm bummed about this week's gbbo elimination :/ and now i really want babka...
I felt the same way lol
My internet is fucked (which means no tv/access to my dvr) and someone can't be out here until 4pm tomorrow.
did anyone else see the blm barbie vlog? it was surprisingly well done and really cute.

my GP is on two strikes right now.
1. she asked me why i wanted to sort out my mental health if i don't currently have a job
2. she told me to call 911 if i was having another mental health episode
Nope, fuck that. Time to start looking around! Assuming that only people with jobs have issues with mental health is a sign that she should not be treating you.
i agree. it rubbed me the wrong way.
What in the sweet hell? Is your GP ancient?

I was watching a video earlier and it reminded me - when will people learn that PUMPKIN SPICE does not contain pumpkin?? So annoyed by these youtubers saying things ~dont taste like pumpkin. Of course not, its fucking cinnamon and nutmeg.
They always make it sounds like they have discovered some big secret nobody knew.
Smh. I made pumpkin syrup w/pumpkin puree in it & basically tastes the same though. Disappointed.
