Gemma Chan and Kiki Layne have joined the cast of Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling.
Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine and Wilde are set to star in the psychological thriller. Wilde will also direct and produce the film. The film is set to begin production later in October and will shoot in Palm Springs and Los Angeles.
Full details are being kept under wraps. The plot so far: Darling takes place in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert and it centers on a housewife who uncovers a disturbing truth about her seemingly perfect life.
Pugh is lead, she’s playing the housewife. Pine’s and Styles‘ characters are unknown. Characters details for Chan and Layne are being kept secret but Layne is replacing Dakota Johnson, who had to leave due to scheduling issues.
