Enola Holmes - What the critics are saying

Screenshot-2020-09-23-Enola-Holmes-2020

The Netflix film Enola Hollmes premieres 9/23.

Critics are loving the movie. Some excerpts:

Brown is delightful in the leading role, Claflin is magnificently aggravating as a secondary villain of sorts, and the devilishly handsome Cavill is effortlessly charming as the world's most famous detective.

On the surface, "Enola Holmes" is about a young woman in search of herself, but the film's value comes from a deeper investigation of power, familial bonds and the risks of changing a world determined to stay the same.

What a terrific cast! Brown is perfect as the teenage, younger sister of the famed detective and Cavill does a nice job portraying Sherlock.

Despite a bloated, mostly uninteresting mystery, Enola Holmes is saved by a phenomenal performance from Millie Bobby Brown and an unforgettable take on Sherlock Holmes courtesy of Henry Cavill.

An absolute delight! Brown makes an excellent female Sherlock Holmes (the famed detective's younger sister), while Cavill balances things brilliantly as the original.
