The Hollywood Reporter reveals that ViacomCBS is working on a revival of The Game.
After a second revival of the series failed last year at The CW, another revival series is in development at CBS All Access, which will be rebranded as Paramount+.
Paramount+ will host most of ViacomCBS brands: BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, VH1 and more.
No other details are known about the series and there is no word if creator Mara Brock Akil is involved. Akil just recently signed an overall deal at Netflix.
The original series was a spinoff of Girlfriends and it ran from 2006-2009 on The CW. The first revival ran from 2011-2015 on BET.
