Already facing harsh criticisms and calls for boycotts, the film Mulan is now under new backlash for filming in Xinjiang, the site where millions of Uyghurs have suffered outrageous human rights and abuses.
More than that - Disney offers “special thanks” to eight government entities in Xinjiang, including a public bureau in a city in east Xinjiang, Turpan, where several "re-education" (concentration) camps have been documented.
Experts have described the CCP's horrific treatment of the Uyghurs as a "demographic genocide", with Uyghur women reportedly having forced sterilisations and birth control.
