_Ricky Nelson was the First artist to reach number one on the Billboard 100 with the song "Poor Little Fool" in 1958.

-Before that the chart that showed the most played hits was Honor role of hits, established in 1945.

-Ricky Nelson starred alongside his parents and younger brother on "The Ozzie and Harriet Show" from age 8 to 22. When he and his brother got married, their real life wives joined the cast of the show as their wives.The show ran for 14 seasons with 435 episodes.
