In "Here go hell come [again]." news, the A:TLA creators are no longer involved with the live action reboot.
“I can finally tell you that I am no longer involved with the project. In June of this year, after two years of development work, Bryan Konietzko and I made the difficult decision to leave the production.” said DiMartino on his website this morning. " I can be certain about is that whatever version ends up on-screen, it will not be what Bryan and I had envisioned or intended to make".
He says initially, Netflix was determined to work with them, but things had not gone as they had hoped.
Remember: M. Night ignored their notes for the live action 2010 movie under Nickelodeon.
UPDATE: Netflix responds with essentially "We like them but we got this." Do you? Do you Reed Hastings?
