I sued Emma Chase and Big Pub for #Copyrightinfringement of my book Part-time Princess by Royally Screwed. #Romancelandia folks (TY!) encouraged me to do a #GoFundMe. Editing to add a summary for the lazy: Pamela DuMond alleges that Emma Chase lifted the concept/characters of her book, Part Time Princess, and turned it into the first book of her Royally series, Royally Screwed. She also alleges that Emma Chase lifted phrases/excerpts from her book and paraphrased them a bit.
Pamela DuMond's site has tl:dr posts on the case: 1, 2, 3
For the ontd lawyers, The Passive Voice also wrote a post on the case.
