The Netflix reboot of Unsolved Mysteries has already generated several leads, and the floodgates are still open. The co-creater of the series, Terry Dunn Meurer, made some recent statements about the cases.
- The case that received the most tips is that of Alonzo Brooks, who was found dead after a party. The police reopened the case, but still do not have the break they need.
- They received the highest number of credible tips about Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, the man who (allegedly) murdered his family and then disappeared. They have received tips from all over the world, including Argentina, Switzerland, and the United States.
- The case of Rey Rivera is still open, but police apparently have not received any helpful tips (or, you know, just don't care/are fucking it up). Baltimore police statement said:
"While the case is classified as open, the department has not received any new evidence for follow-up. We welcome any additional information that may assist investigators with the task of bringing forth closure to the family and friends of Ray Rivera."
- Instead of doing update episodes, Unsolved Mysteries will probably post any updates/solved cases on its social media profiles.
