As reported last week by Deadline, movie studios have been getting nervous over their Fall release calendars and were stated to begin reassessing this week.
Well Universal is first out the gate and has delayed a number of films, some a few weeks, most others a full-year:
-- Candyman moves from September 25 to October 16.
-- The Forever Purge, originally scheduled for this Friday and delayed indefinitely back in May, will now be released a full-year from now: July 9, 2021.
-- Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, the followups to the relaunched Halloween from 2018, have both been delayed a full year: October 15, 2021 and October 14, 2022 respectively.
