I love that Veronica Sawyer made this list. I wish I could go back in time and see that show live, ugh. I hope there's another touring or local version at some point. I love the soundtrack so much.

What are y'all's top 5 fave musicals? It's hard for me to narrow down but if I had to:

1. Sweeney Todd (specifically the Angela Lansbury stage version)
2. Grease (movie version)
3. Heathers (off-Broadway)
4. Hairspray (movie version)
5. Chicago (movie version)

Book of Mormon is a VERY close sixth, like hard honorable mention. It's so hard to pick!

In no particular order:

The Scarlet Pimpernel
Hadestown
Les Miserables
The Producers
The Pirates of Penzance

Honorable mentions: In the Heights, Chicago, and Hairspray.

I will say though that no other show has made me cry the way Hadestown did. That show genuinely affected me in a way no other show has even come close to doing. I was SOBBING.
