I love that Veronica Sawyer made this list. I wish I could go back in time and see that show live, ugh. I hope there's another touring or local version at some point. I love the soundtrack so much.

What are y'all's top 5 fave musicals? It's hard for me to narrow down but if I had to:

1. Sweeney Todd (specifically the Angela Lansbury stage version)
2. Grease (movie version)
3. Heathers (off-Broadway)
4. Hairspray (movie version)
5. Chicago (movie version)

Book of Mormon is a VERY close sixth, like hard honorable mention. It's so hard to pick!
Little Shop of Horrors
The Sound of Music (The movie! It’s my favourite movie so it’d be wrong for it not to be on this list)
The Lion King (I know it’s cheesy Disney but Endless Night, Shadowland and He Lives In You own my soul)
Chicago
In The Heights
Little Shop is up there for me too but to be fair it's kinda because I have a ridic crush on '80s Rick Moranis, and 99% of my love for the actual musical is the "Suddenly Seymour" scene in the movie — and the Ellen Greene/Jake Gyllenhaal version from 2015 lol.
UGH The Lion King is amazing!!! I was lucky enough to see it twice when it was at the Pantages in LA. Everything from the sets, musical numbers, cast, costumes was epic.
