The german federal police is very sure a german man who is currently in prison for an unrelated crime abducted and killed Madeleine McCann in 2007.
He is 43 and lived in the Algarve between 1995 and 2007
he has a history of sexual assault, drug offences, and burglaries in hotels
his phone pinged in Praia da Luz the night Madeleine vanished and he sold his van the next day
