Star Trek Voyager Cast reunites for the 25th Anniversary

The May 26 Voyager live reunion – marking the 25th anniversary of the sci-fi series – featured cast members Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Roxanne Dawson (B’Elanna Torres), Robert Beltran (Chakotay), Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris), Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Garrett Wang (Harry Kim), and Tim Russ (Lt. Tuvok).

Jeri Ryan will always and forever hate her costume lol. The set had to shut down for her just to go the bathroom because the costume was ridic.

Kate Mulgrew's children didn't understand why she had to work all the time and still refuse to watch the show. She doesn't blame them for that.

The role of Janeway was originally going to be played by Geneviève Bujold but she quit suddenly and Kate Mulgrew “I had about four days to collect myself and then I started Monday morning,” Mulgrew remembered. “It was a formidable undertaking but once I got my sea legs it was great.”

Robert Duncan McNeil chimed in with more of this story. “There was a lot of uncertainty when Geneviève left…and the moment you said the first line on the bridge, personally I said this show is gonna work. We were gonna make it.”

Robert Picardo's least fave thing was the early seasons of the character because he was a blank slate and boring? but he also loved that because of the growth of the character

Tim Russ loved being the foil to the humans lol. Least fave thing was being an actor who can't show the range of emotions. Vulcans man.

Everyone adores Ethan Phillips.

In 'what could have been amazing' news

The “Year of Hell” and the behind-the-scenes drama not only to craft episode, but that season, was fascinating because we wanted “Year of Hell” to last the entire season. We wanted to see Voyager get its ass kicked every episode and through that season was going to be marbled the story of Annorax and the time ship that was changing things. So, we would go back to it every once in a while to remind the audience that is the larger story. But [it was rejected] because Deep Space Nine made Rick Berman allergic to serialized storytelling, violently so.
