I've known a couple of people who have taken pay cuts bc their jobs were impacting them mentally/stress wise. None have regretted it.

Had a weird dream last night that I stepped out of my parents house and saw a red balloon floating near the porch. I turn around and I see Pennywise reflection in the glass door and I turn back and theres more red balloons floating which, fine.

But I did get to flirt with adult Mike later when we go to fight Pennywise in the cave so...weird but okay.

I'd never seen the Fast & Furious movies so I put them on in the background this week while I was playing Animal Crossing, knitting, etc and even though I was not invested in them I was still really emotional at the end of Furious 7. :(
Also was pleasantly surprised to see Gina Carano and Luke Evans in 6.

Now I'm on episode of 1 of The Great. Really liking it so far!

I've submitted (or at least I think I may have submitted) a tie breaker post. I was getting 505 server errors upon submission, so I kept trying & now I'm getting this error on the page when I attempt to postt: Client error: Maximum queued posts for this community+poster combination reached.

Fingers crossed something gets accepted (if anything is even in the queue) & we'll see what the people really, really want.

ontd, what would your life be like if you were a witch/wizard in the harry potter universe? what house would you have been in, what job would you have? what kind of familiar would you have?

id be a slytherin with a pet cat and i would work at a magical bakery or food place. like that ice cream parlour in diagon alley.

I'd be in Ravenclaw but would have had a real tough time making friends there - I think I'd have hung out with the Slytherins, tbh. the closest friends I had at that age had a real mean streak (luckily typically reserved for other people/society at large, lol)

I'd have a cat, and I'd go into something cat-related after graduation. I already do something cat-related for work as a Muggle!

I'd be a hufflepuff with a cat familiar and I'd like to be a hogwarts potion professor, but encouraging and not an abusive jerk like snape, and be hufflepuff head of house.

i think the wizard word will be too stressful so maybe i would live in the countryside because traveling won't be a problem and do something like study magic and its consequences or something

I would’ve been a hat stall between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, but would’ve chosen Hufflepuff. I would definitely have a pet cat (or 5) and would become the librarian/archivist at Hogwarts.

Haha that is such a cute question :) I would be a Hufflepuff with a cat as a pet and I'd probably have one foot in the wizarding world, one in the muggle world. I kind of love the idea of mixing a very ordinary life with some magic. Like, you could apparate/ take the broom/ floo to go somewhere but because it's sort of a hassle, you could also use a car or public transport instead.

My company announced they plan to keep the majority of WFH employees at home until at least September 8. As someone that has to work on site, that makes me feel better. I don't want people to return. I only feel safe because so few people are around.

Sister of Darkness is a really interesting book. The author is an exorcist and sees all kinds of creepy shit and demons. It’s non-fiction btw
